"Careful!" Zia probably didn't help the embarrassed feeling when she not only noticed, but moved to catch her.
She cringed a bit when this motion forced her to take another good look at her face, though. "What are you going to tell your parents about... that?" She asked, making a motion that encompassed pretty much her whole head.

What was she going to tell her parents? Absolutely nothing! Her parents didn't have to see her, and they probably celebrated that very fact nightly. It was a good thing Hypnos didn't know that though or she might as well fall to the ground and start crying that her parents don't love her when he veil over the situation suddenly fell down.
"I... I live with my sister," she said, not intentionally leaving it open to interpretation but perhaps it was better that way.

"...Oh." She definitely interpreted it on her own, probably projecting her own situation when she was that age on it too much. Okay Zia was relating to Hypnos way too much now. This was not a good feeling. It was super duper uncomfortable and she would like her feelings to stop. She didn't want to think about being 12 and being outright abandoned by everyone but her older brother who only left a year or two later to go smoke pot on some beach.
"Here," Zia cut the spar short and went for her bag, fishing out her make up bag. Zia had an arsenal of make up, even if lately she opted to just smear on some dark eye shadow and call it a day. One upon a time she did the full work up with light handed accents.
Cucumber oil and light powder. Hypnos wasn't quite her skin tone so she couldn't do a full cover up, but she could make it look a little better, and the oil should've taken down some of the swelling and soothed the stinging. Zia would spare her the lecture on how it was stellar for her pores too. But like a switch she had gone from fighting her to gingerly doting on her injury.

Hypnos didn't know what to expect when Zia went for her bag but for her to pull make up out was probably at the bottom of any option of the list of things that could possibly happen. She simply stood there in awe, vaguely reminded of her mother at the sheer amount she could see peeking out of the bag. Her mother also carried makeup everywhere, and lots of it but her job called for it.
"Oh?" And then a couple moments later she realized, her hand gingerly touching her face before falling to the side. "Ohh."
It felt so much nicer with the cucumber oil, that's for sure, and even if it didn't cover up entirely she felt this would make it comfortable enough to go home. Tomorrow she could use her sister's makeup to do a better job concealing it and make sure she didn't get brought to Child Services in the middle of class.
"Thank you," she murmured as Zia cared so gingerly for her.

"It's not a problem," Zia said flippantly like this stupid little kid totally wasn't making her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. She clipped her make up bag closed and absentmindedly touched Hypnos' hair some more before she stood up and slung her bag on her shoulder. "Anyway. Sorry, kid, but I'm exhausted. But," She scribbled a few numbers on the back of a receipt she had in her pocket and handed it to her. "I live just up there in this apartment, if you ever need anything. We can train some other time when I'm not ready to collapse on the couch."

Hypnos smiled very softly as the piece of paper fell into her hands, her hands carefully folding it out and pressing it against her chest. She would take this home and tuck it away, or memorize it. Or both. She'd probably need to know it off hand for emergencies because otherwise what use would it be?! Unless she just wanted makeup advice but that probably wasn't what Zia had intended.
"Thank you," she said, waving Zia off as she too headed home.
