Pandora certainly hadn't been expecting to be cracked in the stomach by a surprisingly hard, and surprisingly strong swing of a skull. While she was a survivor, not a specialized tactic fighter, there were still some actions which simply didn't cross her mind.
Winding an opponent with the use of her head was one such overlooked attack. It seemed like dirty fighting.
The senshi might have made a sharp exclamation of pain and surprise, but there was too much pain in her gut to manage. Maia had gotten her right in the worst spot, and Pandora simply did not have the body fat to defend. She buckled over, took a few well-balanced steps as her legs were pulled, and then leaned forwards until one hand found the ground.
Her next, and only instinct, was to exit any space which was near Maia, and so Pandora gingerly got back to her feet and stumbled away to catch her breath. The senshi's eyes were hard-focused on her opponent, and she clenched her teeth and fought away the last of the sting while her breath came back to her.
"How many members of chaos have you fought?" The talking moved the pain to a small place in the back of her mind, where she could forget about it and focus on what was coming next.

Maia spun and stood at being released, happy to no longer have an achy arm. She frowned slightly at the obvious pain she had caused the girl. She hadn't meant to hit her that hard. Sometimes she forgotten her strength, she knew of course she was stronger, being an eternal, but still one forgot.
She didn't go after Pandora again allowing her time to recover and was slightly surprised at the question throw at her. In all honesty she couldn't really say, she wasn't entirely certain. She been in lots of battle and the bigger ones were a blur. It was hard to keep track.
"More than I can count on both hands," was the answer she decided to give. It was true or at least she thought it was. "I've been doing this for three years. Ive been in a battle recently with Benitoite, but he's the most recent for a while. I've fought Wolframite the most though."
She moved while she talked making her way basically just around the girl, least she try something while Maia was answering her question. "Let keep it going. You most likely won't get a break when you come across one of them."

The most. Fought more than once?
Pandora was nodding, as Maia continued. She hadn't really expected to be given a break, was surprised when Maia had circled her as opposed to just taking her off her feet again. Then again, they were only sparring. They weren't trying to cripple each other.
"How do you know who wins in a fight like that?"
Pandora took the opportunity to lunge for Maia's waist. It was time to do what she did best - grapple. Maia was clearly stronger than her, but just how much? This was a training exercise, so she could afford to be risky. Pandora was going to give it all she had, and see just how weak she was against an opponent in straight up wrestling.

Maia frowned thinking on the times she fought Wolfy. She had to admit, she had lost more times than she had won, but the last fight had been a draw. Oddly he had been the one to retreat despite have been attempting to rip out her starseed.
"I would have to say, mostly likely whoever takes more damage and even times whoever is sent running," she said giving the best answer she could give. It wasn't something one thought about really, you knew when you won and you knew when you lost.
For Maia wrestling was probably not her strong suit, but she could manage well enough. At the lunge to her waist, she attempted to jump out the way, but still ended up arm around her waist which sent her stumbling, though she managed to stay on her feet just barely.
It was hard to get a good grip on a person trying to wrestle you to the ground and it probably look quite crazy, but Maia managed to grab hold of the back of Pandora's fuku yanking up before pushing down hard in an attempt to push the girl down to the ground, sorely hoping with the girls grip on her, her own skirt stayed up. She'd lost her skirt once, how very awkward was that.

Pandora had a grip like death and a whole lot of determination. Feeling Maia stumble sent her heart beating. She might actually be able to make use of this.
Crazy didn't begin to cover how it likely looked. But when you were fighting, it didn't matter, and Pandora was caught in the moment. The pressure on her chest was strong, and even, as Maia began to lift her, so Pandora went with it, hooking an arm over Maia's shoulder just before the downward pressure came.
It was much to strong to resist, but Pandora had a lot of hard earned stubbornness. She was not going down alone. Either Maia's body was going down with her, or her clothes were, in ripped pieces.
And Pandora had a final question which was out of her mouth before she even knew she was thinking it. The slip was a product of adrenaline and stress, and it was muttered out between panting breaths. Maia was just much too strong for her, and even with her strong hold, she felt she might be hitting the ground all alone this time.
"Have you ever seen anyone die?"Kaori_luv (( Ahahahha. Skirt losing would be very awkward. Amusing, since I was just pondering if undressing your opponent would be a good fighting tactic for a pacifist. Who wants to fight in their underwear, after all. ))

Maia hadn't expecting the grip on her shoulder, which lead to a pull on her collar, rumpling it up and nearly pulling it off her shoulder. Pushing Pandora down while Maia was stronger, was easier said than done. It wasn't an easy task to accomplish when you opponent was attempting to take you with them, nor when you clothing was being yanked.
The bow on her chest was pulled loose and then pulled off causing Maia to frown deeply. She didn't like being a mess it was a small weakness. The question got her though, making her give the girl a finally rough shove in an attempt to get her off and away.
Her answer was a very short and slightly irritated, "yes". It was a sore spot because Maia had tried so hard to save that curl and in the end, Mica, had crushed the girl's starseed. Maia snapped really tried to hurt Mica after, she was still pretty sure to this day that she had broken something on the girl. Than of course there were the aliens. She really didn't want to think about those she'd seen murdered.Kaelyndra Yes, Maia lost her skirt, shoes, and bow in a battle once as a super. She fought the youma sans them.

There was hesitation in Pandora's grip, and then she went down, hard. It was one thing to think about the possibilities, to be afraid that you just couldn't save everyone, and another to determinately hear it. Death was going to become a common theme. The senshi was swallowing as she turned over to sit, breath coming in strong and heavy, and her eyes locked on Maia. One hand held up so the other could take it, she shook her head in acceptance of loss. "Three's enough. You win." The urge to fight had been knocked completely from her.

Maia nodded and smiled pushing the morbid images to the back of her mind, where she preferred them to stay. She took Pandora's hand and attempted to pull the girl to her feet.
"You're really great. There are a lot of senshi just starting out that wouldn't have made it that long. Maybe I should revise the way to win a bit, though, maybe landing hits might be better."
She grinned, "we should do this again sometime. I have no doubt, you'll be one amazing opponent in no time. Maybe you can help my brother Shangri-la. He's a page and I don't think he ever going to grasp the whole fight thing."
"That being said, you going to call it a night. Have a bath and get some rest maybe," she asked really making a suggestion more than asking. The night was quiet and Pandora just had a good work out.

As she was pulled upright, Pandora gave Maia's hand a heavy squeeze. It was hard to discern whether it was a comfort gesture meant for her opponent, or to ease her own mind. It wasn't easy for her to shake off the topic once it had latched onto her mind; she didn't have the experience in choking it down yet.
"I'd be willing to help test any revisions." Pandora's smile was meant to be wide, encouraging, friendly as always, but there was that nagging feeling in her chest which subdued pleasantries.
Still, friendliness and compassion was always contagious to the redhead. The mention of helping someone learn to fight, well, it struck her momentarily as something that would perhaps not be easy. It was hard to want to thrust someone else into this mess she'd somehow landed herself in, but, then, he was already there, wasn't he? "I'll help in any way I can, Maia."
They could contact each other through those strange cell-phones. They weren't an iPhone, that was for sure.
"A bath sounds really good," she agreed. It was more likely she'd go for a long run, try and get the thoughts out of her head. The bath would come eventually. "Thanks," she added with a smile. "It was a good spar."
There was an awkward moment of tension as Pandora debated which way to leave and if there was something more to be said, and then she shook hands with Maia one final time and left. It was for the better; she could feel herself start to choke up.
