"Sleeping I think." Deciding he was dry enough, Wen stood and gathered up his clothing bundle. He put on his trousers first before tossing his shirt on, tugging it down quick over his head and hands. A quick check to make sure his knife holster was in easy reach, he sat back down. Combing his hair idly, he started to part it for braiding. "S'kiro?"

He turned to look at what Wen was talking about, then realized he meant Solath. "Somewhat. He likes the sun on him, though that sand is going to be a pain once it dries." F'iar saw the quick look at the knife, understanding a reason for wanting it easy to grab. "S'kiro is the rider of Blue Neptanth and he allowed for myself and A'in to bunk in his weyr until we could build our own. Be forewarned though. If you walk in while all of us are there, a flight of flits will be at you."

Another blue rider. Wen brushed sand from the cape and folded it tightly. "Build a weyr? Isn't that a bit extreme?" Depending on the materials and costs... it seemed rather odd for each rider to build an actual weyr. "Sand is also a pain when it is wet." Sand was displeasing in either form.

The tone and look he got, didn't surprise him that much. "Yes a weyr, for us the our dragon. Around here it might look more like a hut, but with Neptanth size it tends to be a lot larger. And we were doing our best to reuse the stuff we already had, but with that fire..." His voice trailed off, not wanting to remember that stuff. Solath's head turned, eyes whirling in concern. It is alright, my dear. Still a bit painful.
Shaking the memory away, F'iar regarded wet sand versus dry. "Yes, it is a pain while wet, but easier to scrub your dragon with. Any little thing to help keep their hides from drying out and getting patches."

"I don't know most of the facts, I know there were some assassination attempts but the rest seem to be rumors and strange. " A lot of second hand information had reached Atlini hold and they hadn't got a chance to sort out all the facts from the raging gossip. "What happened?" He started to braid his hair, keeping the lengths tight.

F'iar took a deep breath, releasing it slowly. "Well you know how the other two Weyrs have be taken over by the WherHandlers. And with our Weyrwoman being attacked. Just a lot of pain." He scanned the area, looking to see if one of the higher people were around. Not seeing anyone, he sighed, knowing he would have to step up.

"Yes," Wen said simply and elaborated a bit. "The changes in the Weyrs shift everything for it changes their holds allegiances. A change in the holds also change the trade and affect a vast expanse. I sympathize slightly with their movement. The old ways are by chance of birth instead of merit but I can't get behind the mass chaos in their wake to achieve a sense of equality."
