Again for possibly the hundredth time the small meta boy looked at the clock. The man was late, very late. As it was the boy didn't like waiting but having to wait even longer? Oh it was pure torture. Back and forth the boy paced even making the woman handling the calls and paperwork at the desk nervous. The boy couldn't help it. He had been told that someone would FINALLY take him in and they had the nerve to be late.
The boy sighed heavily and climbed the chair to look out of the window, nothing. How much longer did he have to wait? How did other people even take waiting? Didn't they go insane because it felt as if the boy would or pull his hair out from his head. Why were they doing this to him?
Finally the boy just slumped down in his chair with a defeated look on his face. He was calling it quits. There was no way he could take the torture of waiting any longer and would rather deal with telling himself that his supposed new guardian didn't wait him. He really didn't care since there would always be another person to take him in.
Taking in a breath he hopped off the chair and fixed his clothes before going to make his way out of there. Just as he had made it passed the corner the sound of someone coming in came. Like a overjoyed kid, he ran to see who it wad and when he did his eyes grew wide. It was a older tall gentleman that just scared masculine. The small meta was not expecting such a man to be his guardian and even more one that looked so dirty. He almost wanted to run for it until he was spotted. No way of escape now.
His jaw was dropped as the man came closer, looking more like a giant now more than anything. All he could do was stare up at the man in both amazement and horror. It would have continued to be silent if the woman at the front desk hadn't come forward to usher the older man to sign the papers.
The boy kept staring until a white digital watch fell out of his pocket. No one else seemed to notice other than the boy and feeling it rude to do nothing he went to pick it up. Even if the man was dirty looking the watch looked so clean and new that he couldn't help admiring it. He would have kept look if a blinding flash of light hadn't appeared.
The two adults were luck since they had been turned away as they now shielded their eyes but as the light died down they were met with the boy's changed appearance. He looked so much paler both in skin and hair color. Again there was an awkward silence until it was broken by laughter from the older man. "Now that's a show." He slapped his knee in joy as he went over to the boy, patting his hand with his dirty hands which of course made the boy make a disgusted face. "You may look like a weak little lad but I can feel it in my bones that you're gonna be strong. Isn't that right Alvis?" The boy was in awe with the name the older man said. Was that his name now? He liked it.
Before he would be amazed by his new name he was pulled into a hug. He would have enjoyed it if his clothes weren't dirtied. Least the man meant well. "You're a McFly now boy and you will always be one." He placed Alvis down and ruffled up the boy's hair. "I'm David McFly but you can all me father or whatever you wish. You better like adventure because there will be a lot." With that the older gentleman went back to signing the paper leaving Alvis trying to take everything that had happened. He had gotten someone he didn't want but at the same time someone that he did and that left the boy speechless.
It hadn't taken up longer for the papers to be signed and be done with all while Alvis painfully waited. "Come on lad. Time to start an adventure." David said as he offered his hand and laughed. Alvis looked at the hand a little grossed out but he took it. How was he to ignore an adventure? One that would change his life. That small hand took the adult one and off they went to start their adventure with all of it's difficult obstacles.

It was one of those days that Alvis had snuck out of his house house to go read in the library or learning how. David might have been helping him get stronger, or more like get soar all over, but one thing David wasn't so good at teaching him was how to read. Slowly the young muse was doing it on his own. Starting from the children books and slowly making his way up. Of course he had trouble with some of the words but he would just write them down and use the computer later to find out.
Making a small pile all around him, he was trying his hardest to read a big science fiction novel but was having a lot of trouble. He didn't give up though but he did have a frustrated look on his face. With a big sigh he looked away from the book and closed it. "One day I'll be able to read this and other books too. All while being on a big adventure." He said very confident in himself and put the book aside as he took another book that looked more meant for his age.
Hawktopus Phyl enters the library, carrying a large book called 'The Creation Of Clocks: The Full Biography' She turns it into the checkout and trots through the library, ticking softly to herself as she tries to find something to read. She notices Alvis' book he set down, sitting beside him and looking at it curiously "Huh. I Tock haven't read this one yet. Is Tock it good?"

Things to be Told and Adventures to Come

Lets see well first off it seems that I have made a new friend. She is quite odd and maybe a little scary but she is rather cool and smart and pretty nice. She will even read more to me and I will learn more from her. I will make her proud.
Well lets see I know I have more to say. Oh yes it seems that father is bring in someone new. At least that is what he has told me. He has been gone for a bit to his family. I do not know the reason for why he did not take me too but well I guess that is ok. He left me food and things and said I could stay inside the school. I am interesting in knowing who this person is. David Father said he would be my brother and that he is the same as me but also different. I am quiet quite excited. I look forward to seeing this person.
Well I guess that is all for now. I want to see this school a bit more.

About Some Things

I have been hearing that some bad things have been going on in town. Some real bad guy stuff. Of course I am not afraid one bit of that bad guy well maybe a little but only because I am getting more worried about David. He said he should have been back but I have not even heard one thing about him. I am getting worried that the bad guy has gotten him. I know David is strong but what if they tricked him. I do not wish for David to be gone forever nor my new brother who I still have yet to meet. I must be brave and wish for the best even if I do get scared. Maybe my wish for the Christmas event should have been for David and my brother's safe return. I might try to ask her when I go. I do not care if she has to return my present. I want David back.

Entry Type: RP EntryKinesthetic Muse [For Metas who had wishes, please look for your Meta's names bolded. Some of you have specifics for the characters that Moira sent out to the guardians, I just haven't had time to send them out via PM and I figure this might work out easier anyways.] Moira hummed as she did the final touches on getting the gym set up for the Holiday event that she had planned for the Children and Teens that were part of the Academy. She had been wanting to do one for awhile now seeing as all she could remember when she was growing up was the Halloween Ball when she had first met Vic those years ago. Smiling slightly, she shook her mind out of the memories and took a step back to get a good look of the gym before quickly rushing forward to do some last minute adjustments and then nodding and nitpicking about the food.
While she could've made it all herself, she had gotten the help of her friends to help her pick out kid friendly holiday food that wasn't just cookies and candy. The table of food that was a couple feet away from the tree that was bustling with a variety of presents, some labeled with names some without names for just random gifts that she figured that some kids might want and they could possibly trade them with other kids if they didn't like them, was full of food. An entire spiral sliced ham, a large variety of cookies, pastas, candies, fruits, vegetables and about 5 different types of bread. On the next table was the beverages - Coffee, pops, hot chocolates consisting of white, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and raspberry, a thing of hot water for tea which there was a basket of sorted teas, and the basics like water and iced tea.
Looking around at the gym, the half-angel smiled, crossing her arms over her chest with a pleased sound. "Well now. I think this looks good, and it's done just in time! Hopefully Vic remembers to bring Tobias with him, didn't want the boy to sit around and just watch me finishing up the details...." she murmured, moving to open both doors to the gym and propping them open. While Tobias was the major concern of hers for tonight, she still hoped that the other kids would like their gifts. The hardest three to get right were three kids she hadn't even seen yet; Valeria, Morpheus, and Alex. While Morpheus had asked for something she thought she could've helped with - and she did ask the Elders about it, all she could do was post a notice about the people in question on the notice board in the main hallway - if her powers were stronger, but she did manage to fish out enough information so she decided that the best bet was to ask the guardians of the Morpheus' and then getting Nova or Avon to bring the other two to at least the door, to bring them all in Blindfolded and bring them as early as possible. Valeria, Morpheus, and Alex's gift was each other - it was an odd thought, but Moira figured it'd work out, that and there were extra gifts if the kids wanted them.
The next kids weren't as hard to shop for, well a couple were, but not too bad. While Tori said he wasn't coming, she decided to send him an owl-based gift card after seeing his message. For Phyllida she was going to ask the girl if she would like to be part of their family but remain in the dorms seeing as they had no more rooms but she could come over to their place whenever they wanted - but she would have to tell her that. Dylan had a simple enough request, and she got him/her a nice camera as requested. Tobias, oh Tobi, she got him a good collection of miniatures and the box set of the Harry Potter books. Quin had an adorable request and she decided to just get her a gift card for the shop she always goes to for cooking supplies. For Marisol she got her the requested roller-blades, but she hadn't heard of ANY type of harpy showing up - she was sure they'd come through the Academy first and not live among humans after the war.
Sha had a nice request as well, so she got him both things he asked for. For Wiley, Moira got a set of barrettes and ribbons and put them all in a cute hat. Mandi would get a mixture of shirts and small cat plushies. Blake would be getting the box sets of the Batman and X-men movies, seeing as those sorts of things were good for all ages. Alvis, one of the last two kids on the list,would be getting the Doctor Who: Classic Novels Boxset. Last but not least, Ariel, who seemed to enjoy her fish puns, would be getting a Nerf SOA Tornado Strike Water Gun, a Nerf Super Soaker Lightningstorm Blaster, 30$ for a swimsuit of her choice, and a notice to not use the super soakers until it got warmer.
With a sigh, Moira walked back to the tree and started to adjust the presents, checking the clock every now ad then. It was about time for people to start showing up, more so the first three.Yookami-kun
Vic would have much rather gone with his wife to the gym to help her but he was sure that he didn't want Tobi to see anything. Plus there was no one else Tobi would possibly be ok with stay and there was no way the boy would be staying home alone. Things were still a little awkward to Tobi but at least he was getting more comfortable talking to him. Hopefully sooner or later he would be talking to him like Moira.
Things were quiet the whole walk over to the gym. Vic had wanted to talk but nothing came out of the adult. He still needed to work on that but at least he was getting better at talking to his son. Luckily the awkwardness didn't have to last long as they walked inside. Letting go of Tobi's hand he let the boy roam where ever he wish but he was sure Tobi wouldn't go far. "Need any help?" Vic said as he walked over to his wife, kissing her on the cheek.

Excited but Mostly Worried

It seems like I have grown some well more like a lot. I am almost two feet taller than how I use to be and it is quite nice. I can reach more things that I could not. There was one little problem well more like a big one, my clothes. Due to me growing so much almost none of my clothes fit me. It was rather embarrassing but I made due with some clothes I found in the lost and found before having to sneak back into father's house to find some new clothes. They are a bit big but they will have to do.
Speaking of father he has still yet to return. I grow more worried with each passing day. Worried for him and the brother I have still yet to meet with. I wonder how they are doing, if they are eating right, if they have gotten hurt from the attacks just like in town, and if they even think of me. I have heard of others being left behind, never to see their guardians again due to being abandon. Did they abandon me? Was I too weak for father? Did I nag him too much? I know father is a kind man but I am beginning to wonder if he has left me and lied about having a new brother. It saddens me deeply to think of that but I still wish to think that I have not been left behind. I still have faith that father will come back with a large smile on his face and present me with the brother I have been waiting for. I will keep training on my own to get stronger and have better control over my powers to make father proud. I will wait here despite hating the wait. I will wait for them for as long as it takes. I hope they come soon.

Entry Type: RP EntryPidgeons Go Meow X3 Morpheus wasn't having that much fun back on campus. He missed his fathers, he missed his home and he missed all the wild parties he could throw! Ugh. Academy regulations were really bumming him out. He huffed and slumped up against a bench that sat just outside the academy doors. Glowing green eyes gazed dispassionately at the building before him before closing.
"Aaaugh..." He sighed. "Only a few days more. Then I may return to where I belong... Just a few days more." Yookami-kun After months of being apart Alvis had been reunited with his father and for the first time met his new 'older' brother. Travis did seem distant from him but his father had explained all that had happened. The muse understood that had to be there and prove himself to his new brother. It had already been days of attempting this and of course Alvis had been doing all the talking. It was ok thought because he was no longer alone and no matter how long it took he would get his brother to believe that he cared for him very much.
Today thought was a day to show Travis around the school which Alvis was careful to not take him near anywhere that was dangerous. It still wasn't safe around. "Ok Travis today we have such a busy day with showing you around this oh so lovely school. I will be making sure that there is no way you will be getting lost. Well maybe not completely but enough that you will know your way around. Do you copy?" Alvis said as he turned around to look at his brother, walking backwards.Travis gave a sigh and nodded. He didn't care much about knowing the school or even going out. Actually he did a bit but he felt she shouldn't be outside. All he wanted was to be locked away in his room. Sure David had trained him some after the incident that happened with his old family. Still it seemed Alvis wasn't going to back down. He did seem kind and he was family. Sighing again he looked around, a few times looking back at his brother who was still walking backwards while talking. Was almost hard to believe he was older than the muse yet Alvis was the only one that had grown. A three sigh came from his mouth then looked up to his brother as he noticed that he was about to bump into a taller looking boy. Sticking out his hand to stop Alvis it seemed too late. The two other boys crashed causing Alvis to fall and dirty his suit a bit. Travis slowly back away even though he knew he should have helped his brother stand up.

All Looking Up

They have finally returned. Both father and my brother. I almost cried but I held back. Finally they're back. I told father how much I have missed him and he laugh. Oh how I miss his odd laughter. There is also my new brother. His name is Travis. How wonderful is it that are names are similar. It is just fantastic. He does not talk to me much but it is alright. Father has told me why. It saddens me to know how they have abandoned him but he still has us. I may not know much about his transformation but he is still my brother and I care very much about him. He is family. I also let them have it for being so tarty. Father has said that he would not be doing that again while he laughed. I am glad. I did not like this solitude. I have them here so I will be forgiving both of them.
Oh and there is another thing. Both Travis and I met another boy while I was showing Travis around. He has such an interesting way of speaking. I like it. He also seems like a blast to be around. I cannot wait to adventure around with him as well as my other friends and brother too. I am glad I was able to have some good before I set off to fight for the school. I am still nervous but I hope for the best even if I do not come out the victor at the very least I tried.
