Ani gave a small smile at the two brothers. Glad that someone was at least enjoying themselves. She twitched her ears flicking back against her head. She... didn't feel right. She didn't want to draw Althea's attention to nothing but that's just it.
There was nothing, it was so quiet, like the world was dead. "Althea... it's too quiet." She whispered not leaving her post but calling out to the doe.

Fox-Spot watched his brother. "A-a-already finding flay! W-without me!" he huffed, his ears falling back against his head. First he was late and now he was already being out done! He sank into his brother's side, tucking his paws beneath him in a springing position, ready to bolt it for any reason. "R-Raven and Althea...." he nudged his brother. "B-b-bet this will be exciting!" he said, trying to make himself laugh but it wasn't working.... so he waved a paw over at Greenstrike. Maybe he could make a new buddy on the raid? Unless they all died.... Oh Frith! Too quiet, thats not good! he fretted inwardly. He hopped about around his brother, not able to sit still at all. Maybe if he begged Althea for orders to keep his mind in one place....

Althea made her way back over to Anis at the whisper, watching the world from the standpoint again.
She sat and looked about, trying to piece it all together.
"... You know, I don't remember seeing the dog. And you'd think a cat would've seen us by now."

Anisthray gave a small nod before she looked around.
"The horses, they are out in the field this night. That... is not of the norm correct?" She laid an ear back against her head for a moment before looking off to the side. "No dog, no cats, the horses out of the barn. Something is amiss here Althea."

The orange buck darted around a few more times until he came across another carrot, laying around. His eyes went wide and a smile spread across his lips. "O-oh! L-l-look it here!" he said and bent down to sniff the carrot. This one was his. Mouse couldn't show off anymore! He bent down and picked it up by the stem with his teeth and beamed proudly at his brother.

- staff post -Fox found the taste bitter in his mouth, almost like a sharp tang. Dropping it immediately, he felt perhaps a little disgusted by the flavor, and maybe a bit nauseous, but no other effects.

Fox-Spot spat out the carrot instantly, his nose twisting, his eyes going wide. "S-s-s-somethings wrong! Don't eat the food i-i-i-its bad!!!" he said, thumping his hind leg as fast and as hard as he could into the ground. His head began to spun and he felt a weird churn in his stomach.

Greenstrike noticed the orange buck wave at him and returned the motion with a wave of his own. He smiled widely as he watched the buck discover a carrot. This raid was going well so far, it seemed! The buck was joyful for the first time in the hour as he continued to search the silo for an opening. The brown rabbit stopped to investigate the door of the silo. "I... I think I found something." He observed the cracks between the door and the building wondering if he'd be small enough to squeeze through. He briefly wondered if he should wait for an order, but his eagerness encouraged him to go on ahead. Greenstrike was certain everyone would be proud of him as he peeked his head into the building.

Mouse was enjoying his victory far too much, "Don't be such a scaredy pfeffa, Fox!" he teased, quite tempted to eat his prize but wanting to keep it long enough to taunt his brother with some more, "Of course it'll be exciting! We're off on an adventure!". Upon Fox finding his own carrot though, Mouse frowned, "OI! That's not fair, you cheated! That was still within my area so that technically makes it mine...", if rabbits could pout or fold their arms he would most definitely have done this here, but instead he just watched unhappily as Fox picked the carrot up in his teeth and spit it out quickly.
Mouse was seriously confused by his reaction, "Huh? What's the matter with you?!" cautiously he looked down at the carrot at his feet, "Looks fine to me... Waaaait, are you lying just so I won't want it?" he smirked, "Cause let me tell you, I don't fool that easily!"

Althea turned around quickly at the thumping, rushing over to the alarmed buck as he motioned towards the flay.
"Bad?"
She sniffed it, finding the scent changed. It smelled both more intoxicating and... revolting. Like, like...
"DON'T GO INTO THE SILO!"
She bolted for the door, trying to stop them in time. Traps, baits, the farmer was ready for them this time.

Darkbrier had been so intent on watching for outside dangers like the cat from last time that she had just about convinced herself that they were being watched. At Althea's she turned toward the silo to see Greenstrike poking his head through the door and bolted toward him as well, hoping one of them, or someone else, would stop him before he got farther. She should have known better than to think the farmer would have the same old tricks out from last time. Her new scars stretched and pulled a bit awkwardly but at least they weren't slowing her down any more... not that she was the fasted rabbit in the lot anyway. Frith help them all, she didn't like the way this night was shaping up.
