"Mmmm I could go either way, I kinda want to see the waterfall that is supposed to be around here. Do you happen to know where it is? I would enjoy your company even if you didn't know."
She fluttered her eyelashes at him shyly. She was kinda flattered that he was considering the herd. It would be nice to have a male around who wasn't some kind of cousin. Specially one so handsome. On the inside she had a huge grin on her face, she attempted to hide it but couldn't.

He laughed, enjoying her company and question. "I'm sorry, but I don't really keep track of where places are, I just tend to follow where my thoughts are telling to go." Looking around once again, he was quite sure that they were not too far away, but did not like to give the wrong directions to anyone, especially a mare as kind as Loria.
Would her family even allow him back into the herd after leaving them without saying a word? That was what he feared, but hopefully he would have the words of Loria or Regalia to back him up. How was his winged friend anyways?
"Let's try heading up north a bit." He concluded. "It is fairly more suitable than heading south after all."

"Well we both know what lays far enough south, I don't feel up to facing the entire evil peninsula today. Just a waterfall will do." She teased. "Northward it is then." She hip bumped him and giggled. " I think I have only one cousin thing that went south, I haven't met her yet. She is apparently a vampire. Isn't that kind of exciting?"

He was content with her response. After all, Karitoriki was not yet ready to return to his father's lands and potentially be pressured to join the ranks of the six. Never would that happen to someone like him. He was loyal and faithful to one thing - himself, and that was enough. "Yes, that is interesting!" he replied, "I heard that the vampires are starting to spread throughout the Isle now, so what if there would be one around here soon?" Just the thrill of seeing one, the fangs, everything, it marveled him.

"That would be neat, as long as we were not lunch, or could at least run a lot faster." As they moved along she paused. " I can hear the waterfall, come see with me." She raced ahead kicking up her heels in joy at being free.

He laughed, running after her. Feeling the breeze in his face, Karitoriki remembered the freedom that was thrust upon him tens of times, but never felt this free since he could remember. Entering into a sprint, he got ahead of Loria and leapt into the waters of the pool where a waterfall was.

Loria laughed at his exuberance, it rivaled her own and she jumped in after him, careful not to land exactly on him but close. Then she paused to gaze in awe at the waterfall. IT was tall and thin and water cascaded over constantly. A few fish swirled calmly in their pool even after having two azrein tossed at them. "It's so beautiful."

Fish! His eyes filled with marvel of the magical place. "Yes, it truly is, Loria." Inside, he wondered if the two would see each other once again, that was, if his heart truly did not remain in the whole herd thing. Maybe,.. maybe she would be willing to travel with him? Or hopefully visit time to time? He did not know what to do.
His mind was flustered. He had just met this mare, so why did he think so much of her?! "Do you think that the fish are afraid of us?" he asked, trying to take his mind off of the previous thought.

Loria tipped her head forward and looked at the fish as they swirled between her legs. "I don't think so, or they wouldn't be this close." She pawed the water then stilled again sunshine rippled over muscle and sleek wet fur. "Nope they are back already, definately not afraid."

Satisfied, Karitoriki couldn't help but laugh at her observation. What an interesting, fun way to make a statement. Maybe he should try something like that one day, perhaps. "How delightful it must be, enjoying the moment without harming them."

"Yes it is actually, they are fast little bugger too." She hopped after them, giggling as they swirled away like little lightning torpedos. At one point she hopped right into Karit. "Oh sorry!" She laughed, "One swam right underneath you."

Karitoriki was caught by surprise and would have practically slipped, but he did not want Loria to see the klutz in him. "Now did it?" he bantered, regaining his balance. "Let's go closer to the waterfall instead of staying in this pool, shall we not?" he asked.

'Sure!" Loria poked him then leaped through the water, over to the waterfall. Little wavelets spread out in her wake disturbing the peaceful edges of the pond. On her way she went after more fish. Still much faster then she. She got right up to the cascade and true to her nature, stuck her nose in it. "Ohhhh its tingly!"

Karitoriki smiled, wanting to laugh at his friend's energy. She reminded him of his mother in a way. They both had a hidden openess. Or maybe that was how every mare was? He heard of some creatures being able to catch fish straight from there mouths, so he lowered his neck, opening his mouth, snapping as each fish leapt over him. It was a failure, but was still an enjoyable moment. "Doesn't that hurt a bit though?!" he shouted, slowly reaching Loria's destination.

"Yes! and its cold but it wakes you up! " She stuck her head in and got her mane good and wet. "Ahhhhh" Her tail unbeknowst to her was flicking back and forth happily.
