“Buckle up wha—“
Hel didn’t get time to finish that question as Titus took off, and the force of the acceleration pressed the ghoul against the back of her seat. She was wide eyed for a few moments, though it wasn’t from fear, no…it was from exhilaration.
“…This is…AWESOME!” Hel wailed, and threw her hands into the air, enjoying the wind whipping past her hands. Since the top was done, and she was not buckled in. Hel planted her foot on the floor mat and then stood up, her hands tightly gripping the top of the windshield as her hair was blown back and she caught the wind. This was awesome…and probably not very legal, but what did Hel know.
“Go faster!” She demanded.

Titus smirked a bit but quickly hid it behind a look of disdain. He wasn't about to let Hel see that he was amused by her antics. At the demand to go faster, though, he was only too happy to oblige. "As you wish." The fact that she was standing wasn't much of a concern to him. Though his Uncle would probably be upset if he dissipated his pretend ghoulfriend before they even managed to get to his house. "Mind the curves!"It was the only warning he gave as he floored it and sped through Amity toward their destination.
Because of the speed it wasn't a terribly long drive but having to stop so that Titus could get a speeding ticket had held them up a little longer as well as the lecture that he had Hel had both gotten about driving so recklessly. Titus just nodded where he needed to, shrugged, and said nothing really as he was given the slip of paper that ended up wadded up and thrown behind his seat with the airbag after the Boogeyman left.
When they finally arrived Titus pulled into the driveway of a large gothic Victorian style home, a spiral garden set in the front with some rather wicked looking trees. He parked the car by the front door and climbed out soothing his messy hair before he looked back to see if Hel was following. "Try using the door this time. It has a handle."

Hel was laughing like a banshee as Titus went fast, nearly falling out of the car as it sped around a curve, but that only made her laugh harder as she clung to the top of the windshield. The ghoul had enough decency to sit down though as Titus was caught by the boogeyman and lectured. She looked just as interested as Titus was, sticking her pinky into her ear at times and examining the tips of her fingers. After they pulled away, Hel just shot a grin at Titus. “Apparently you were not going fast enough if you got caught.”
Upon arrival to their destination though, Hel fell silent as she took in the sights. You know…she never did ask where they were meeting his uncle…and she just hopped into the car without knowing…
Hel was the poster scareling for stranger danger safety.
The reaper scoffed at Titus’ words about a door handle, and just vaulted over the side of the car, landing on the ground smoothly and smoothed out her dress. She even had the decency to try and smooth down her own hair. So this was it…time to see if she had any good acting skills…Dear Jack.
Hel hopped and skipped a bit to catch up to Titus, and then held onto his arm as she walked along with him. Yup. This felt so weird and awkward…but she’d do it. Just…pretend like he was Mot! Mot was tall and skinny. Hel was also thinking about the ideal ghoulfriend…and had watched some BooTube clips of some famous romance movies. Pro skills okay, pro skills about to be put into action.
Hel just needed to think of this like a battle…a battle she was going to win.

Again Hel seemed to ignore the existence of a door. At this point Titus wasn't sure if it was out of ignorance or just the need to piss him off. Most likely it was the later.
With a sigh he ignored it, however, and headed to the door. He was just about to raise his hand and knock when he felt something suddenly latch onto his arm. When he looked down he found a Hel and he wanted to ask what the hell she thought she was doing but he knew better. It was time to start pretending. Jack help him.
Trying to keep the eye twitching to a minimum Titus knocked on the door and waited......and waited. When no one came to answer he knocked again staring at the door almost uncomfortably. A few more minutes passed before he pounded on the door in frustration.
"Alright, yes, I'm late. Ha ha. Can you let me in now."
The door finally opened then and Hel would be greeted by the sight of a stout older demon. Broad shoulders, curled horns, and a very round middle. The man had a beard but it did nothing to hide the broad smile on his face or the obvious laugh lines he had gained over the years.
"Well, I didn't except ya to be early." He beamed reaching for Titus and pulling the boil into a hug whether he wanted to be hugged or not. Titus didn't seem to be a fan of the gesture, his posture stiff and his face contorted like he was in agony. "It's good to see ya." He patted Titus roughly on the back before he released him and set his eyes on Hel. "Well, then. You must be Hel. Ya didn't tell me she was such a lovely young lady, Titus."
"Y..Yeah....it must have slipped my mind." Titus muttered as he was all but shoved aside by his uncle so that Hel had a clear path into the house. The nightmare demon stumbled, flailed, and went staggering off the edge of the porch into the bushes.
His uncle took no notice.
"My name is Morpheus, please make yourself at home." Inside was just as big but the decor wasn't quite the same. It was brighter somehow and each room was full of random things from all over. It looked like Morpheus liked to travel.

Hel was honestly preparing for…well…a cold and sterile and rather fancy if not underlyingly hostile environment. Could one blame her? Look at Titus, after all! With that in mind, and steeling herself for battle, the ghoul held onto his arm tighter, and said arm almost seemed to be sucked in the black hole known as her cleavage.
Arriving to the door, Hel took a deep breath and put on her game face…and waited, and waited, and waited.
Well…what answered the door had blown Hel’s mind. A round, short, and jolly, almost Sandy Claws-ish demon…that was Titus’ uncle!? Hel’s eyes widened a bit and her mind was gone. She watched Titus get pulled into a hug, and was so shocked, she let go of his arm easily enough. Where did Titus go wrong with an uncle like that?
She then watched him get shoved into the bushes.
…
The ghoul snorted, loudly, one hand coming up to cover her mouth. Oh wait…she was supposed to pretend to be his ghoulfriend…maybe she should act a bit concerned. “Oh…uh….are you alright, darkling?” She almost wanted to gag as soon as the words left her mouth, but she had the chance to stop by focusing immediately on his Uncle. “O…Oh…ya! It is um…so wonderful to meet you as well…sir! Titus has spoken a lot about you, and rather fondly too…I am Hel.” She then thrust out her hand at him to shake.

Morpheus caught the snort and smiled all the more. He liked a ghoul with a sense of humor. "Oh, I'm sure he doesn't say a blasted thing about me." But that only made the man laugh all the more. "Please, come in. Tell me about yourself. You're a reaper are you not?"
While his Uncle showed Hel inside Titus was still struggling against the battle with the bushes. He emerged sometime later, his hair newly askew, his clothes disheveled, and leaves peppering his person. He brushed himself off, muttering lowly in French as he stepped back up to the porch and reached for the door only to find it locked.
"Merde...." He rested his forehead against the door wishing he could just knock himself into unconsciousness and sleep through the rest of this get together.

“Eh heh…” Hel just grinned, a bit sheepishly at that. Oops, well…there went her ideas about trying to at least act sophisticated and try to feed white lies. Then again, Uncle threw off her entire game plan by being well…not what she expected at all. Of course, as soon as Uncle invited her in well…Hel went in.
“Oh, thank you kindly…ah…ya, I am. I come from a family of valkyries…” Hel launched into a light but enthusiastic back-story about herself. She was about a good five minutes in, animatedly gesturing with her hands, when she suddenly remembered…wasn’t she supposed to be here with someone?
Oops.
“…Oh…um…Morpheus, sir…? Where is Titus…? I ah…get anxious when he is out of my sight…”

Morpheus seemed rather enthused to listen to Hel's story about herself prompting her with more questions as she went on. It was only when she paused and noticed their lack of another individual that he smiled. "Ah, he's still outside. Best to let him stew a bit. It always makes dinner more interesting." He could hear the faint knocking sound coming from the door and grinned wider ignoring it a little longer.
"Besides he's never brought a girl over before I wanted to meet the little lady that managed to capture his attention." The knocking finally grew a little louder and Morpheus rolled his eyes. "Alright, I'm comin'." He turned and opened the door only to find that Titus had been knocking his head against the door and not his hand. The nightmare demon had managed to wear a decent sized red spot on his forehead. "Why are ya standing out here for? Ya should be ashamed of yourself for leaving your date with an old man like me. I'm likely to steal her away."
"I couldn't.." Titus pointed at the door before bringing his finger up to point at his Uncle. "You locked...." And then promptly paused at the last bit. "What...."

“Best to let him…” Hel snorted once more. “Sir, that is positively evil…I approve.” She grinned then, and her grin widened a bit awkwardly, and she had the decency to look a tad flattered by his words. Oh ya, never brought a ghoul home before…and this was all an arranged deal.
The ghoul trailed after the older demon, standing off to the side as he opened the door and revealed Titus…with a red spot on his head. She tilted her head, and after a moment stepped forward, smirking a bit. “Oh…” She cooed, “I will kiss that better~” and reached up to cup his cold face in both of her hands. She pulled him down then, and pressed her lips to the red spot on his forehead as lovingly as she could.
“There. Come now, screechart.” Her grin was positively devious. “The door has a handle, yanno... stop fooling around outside and spend time with your uncle. I know it has been quite some time since you have seen him…”

Titus was actually a little stunned from hitting his head against the door. It was a state that worked against him as Hel approached and cupped his face and pulled him downward to her level so that she could plant a kiss against the spot on his forehead. A deep red blush crossed his cheeks as his eyes widened and he seemed too stunned to move at first. At least until the door comment came up.
Scoffing he pulled away, brushing his shirt back into place like nothing had happened though the scarlet tint to his cheeks said otherwise.
"Well, aren't you two quite the pair," Morpheus laughed, closing the door as soon as Titus entered. "How did you two meet anyway?"
Thankfully, this question didn't catch Titus completely off guard. He had something planned out in his head, though he hadn't exactly ran it across Hel before hand. Oh well. "We met during a field trip to the beach." Close enough, it had been the trials. Not....entirely a lie. "She had been pining after me for a while. Rather persistently and -"

Hel snickered as Titus pulled away, and rested her hands on her hips. “Aww, Snaggletooth! No need to be shy! It is just your uncle, after all.” The corners of her lips pulled up into a smirk. Luckily, she was facing Titus when that question was asked, and she did look caught off guard. ********! They never went ove—
Hel squinted at Titus as he replied without missing a beat.
What!? Pining for him!? Why that—
“Wait, wait, wait!” Hel exclaimed, putting one of her hands in Titus’ face in order to shush him. “I think the pumpkin sun fried your brain that one day at the beach, screech heart, because that is not how I recall it.” She turned towards his uncle then, quite ready to improvise as well. “Powder over here had been leering at me for quite some time, while I was working on a sand castle, and looking to forge as many new companionships as possible during my time at Amityville, I caught his gaze and went over to—“

Somewhere along Hel's new version of how they had met Titus managed to pull away from the hand over his mouth. "-To tell me how I stood out above all the rest." His own hand reached around to cup over hers as he tried to continue with his version tweaking it as he went.
"It wasn't quite love at first sight she had a knack for being a loud mouth and a little obscure but eventually she -"

Oh hel no.
As soon as Titus covered her mouth with his hand and then started to further edit the story, Hel licked whatever she could of the bare skin on his palm. The reaction was what she had expected, as Titus’ hand immediately fell away. Sucker.
“Ya! Stood out above the rest because he was the only one standing under an umbrella! Anyways—“ She flipped one of her hands conversationally. “We did end up conversing from that trip and further on at other school events before I started to run into him in between classes—and he was just as obscure if not worse— when finally—“

Titus made a face as he felt Hel's warm wet tongue touch his hand and pulled away abruptly. It only served to screw him over in the end as she continued with her own version of the story. Frowning he reached over awkwardly, unsure what to do for a moment. His arm jerked back a couple of times before it finally rested on her shoulders and brought her roughly into a side hug to silence her.
"-Finally she told me she couldn't take it anymore! She wanted to see me more often, I mean who wouldn't." His Uncle even looked skeptical but he smiled and said nothing as he let the two of them continue. "I didn't give in right away but who could say no to that determined look in her eyes and the way she-"

Hel was on a roll, and was about to keep going, until she felt Titus’ arm on her shoulders. What the—
She was promptly silence as she was pressed against his side, and the ghoul’s arms flailed as Titus filled in more of his version. A snort from the ghoul was heard at Titus’s narcissistic comment, and she was finally able to pull her head back as she stuck two fingers up Titus’ nose. “—The way I took charge because your nephew is all talk and no action, and if I wanted this to go anywhere I had to do all the work!
