ShadowSage618 my only problem is finding a working FE12 rom to use. You're on your own for that, unfortunately. We're not allowed to talk about Roms on these forums, and I'll be darned if FEF is sunk because of a thread I created. But good luck with that. I'm having a lot of trouble with emulator speed myself. but so far I am enjoying the game and the improvements it has made on the original, for the most part. I feel like I can't judge it too hard yet. Though for me personally, the original FE3 is a mixed bag, story and gameplay-wise. When I heard that this game would be a retooling of the original beyond just remaking, I was very interested. So far, it has made a good impression on me, especially the translation. I really like that the Heroes of Shadow sought to make it feel like a real localization in line with the Shadow Dragon localization (Which I personally really like) instead of just a fan translation to get the words out there in english and nothing else, which I really feel the FE3 translation suffers from. The game itself has made some updates to how the story proper is told too (For instance, I feel much more bad for Lorenz this time around because of how his death is portrayed, and it is portrayed as leaving a greater impact on Marth). I'm only on chapter 3x as of writing this (What, I've been busy this thanksgiving break!), so I still have much more game to cover.

It's actually quite simple. The English patch has everything set up for you on there. Getting the game to work properly is another issue as Tiki has mentioned already.

FE12 would also be a great opportunity for you to exercise your Japanese further if you don't bother patching it. I myself just started playing it this week.
