Cambria went through her mental list of homework and pretty things to polish. She could spare a couple hours. She'd never been invited anywhere. And this girl was shiny. Shiny and mellow. What a nice combination. "Sure. What kind of flowers do you guys sell?"

Frederique grins widely "We provide a wide array of flowers ;although I believe I would bore you if I got into all of them. It's better to see than to listen" She starts walking down the path, smiling contently. She loved sharing the joys of flowers.

"Yeah maybe. Do you guys do weddings and stuff? I can imagine that being sorta fun." And people always dressed up for weddings. Which usually meant sparkly clothes and accessories. "Or are you more of a pick up bouquets and corsages type place?"

"We do whatever is ordered; sometimes it is for a funeral, sometimes weddings or proms. Dates, parties, decorating the house, or if they just want seeds to plant in the garden, we sell those as well."

"Bet it's a huge store then. Do you have greenhouses too?" Cambria liked greenhouses (they sparkled in the sun) and while she didn't really think about flowers too hard, she liked them when they were around.
"I mean it makes a whole lot more sense for you to have greenhouses. It'd be dumb to have to order flowers to fill an order. So nevermind I kind of answered my own question." She paused and thought about the store some more, "Hey what's your granny's last name, Flippy?"

Frederique nods, allowing Cambria to dominate the conversation for a few moments before speaking "Yes, we have greenhouses. We also own a bird house and koi pond. My grandmother loves her zen garden." At the last question, Frederique shrugs "Technically, she isn't my real grandmother; she is a human that adopted my father. Her name is Aimee Zazlow."

"Well at least you like your guardians, I got stuck with a real piece of work." Cambria's facial expression said that she paid back her irritation with them at least ten fold. "Or at least one of them was obnoxious. Though Derrick wasn't too bad as long as I didn't bug him. Alice wanted a little girl that could be put in beauty pageants. Those things are annoying as hell. She tried to give me a tube of lipstick for an item. I ran away from her and grabbed my own item. Heh. I was so glad to leave them behind." Cambria rambled on for a bit not even realizing she was.

Frederique looks grossed out at the mention of beauty pageants, and sticks her tongue out slightly "Beauty Pageants are an embarrassment to living things everywhere, and I must say I am happy you aren't toting around a tube of lipstick." Yes, being raised by nerds has its perks; one of them being the ability to torment her poor dear parents through their videogames, yes, but the other was not having to be so girly unless she wanted to be.

"Ugh, you and me both. I still had to do them. But I had my revenge. Also they have this cat, biggest sucker. He's huge, white and fluffy. He always tried to smother me for some reason." She flashed an oh so innocent look at Freddie as if she hadn't a single clue. "I have never met a more evil creature." Unless she was looking in the mirror.

Fred giver her a 'I refuse to believe such riff raff' look. She shakes her head, clicking her tongue "Cats do not attack unless they believe you are dinner, or unless you provoke them first. And I don't believe you look weak enough to a feline to count as the former." She nods, shrugging as they arrive to the clean shop named 'Zazlow's Zinnias' and opens the door. She looks at the register, clicking her tongue at the sleeping form at the counter before putting a blanket over her grandmother's shoulders. An old dog trots over to them, barking weakly before laying down at Fred's feet. She pets his large head "My gratitude for protecting the shop Hugo."

Cambria glanced up at the name of the shop. "Nice alliteration." She commented, "As for the cat, trust me. This one's evil. Eviiiiiil. Fluffy hates everyone but he seems to make a special place for me on his most hated pedestal. Alice he hates the least, I think it's because she feeds him." She said as she walked through the door and took in the sights. It was dangerous sleeping on the job, someone could come in and rob them bli- oh never mind there was a dog.
Cambria knew better then to bother dogs when she couldn't just fly away and to bother unknown dogs. They were a lot more dangerous then cats.
Looking around at the shop she could see that it was well taken care of and clean. Nice. There were few things as bad as a dirty shop. "Hey Flippy, this is a pretty place."

Frederique nods, smiling and petting Hugo before standing up and tidying up a flower arrangement. "We try to keep it neat. Hugo tends to make a mess with his fur though." She gestures to the dog, who stands up and pads over to Cambria, sitting down and panting "He's gentle; you can pet him if you wish." She smirks "I assure you he is probably more fluffy than your demon cat, and is more than likely going to smother you in kisses."

"Well he is definitely bigger then Fluffy... as for total fluff, I'm not sure. Holy crap are you sure he's not a small horse?" Definitely one dog not to mess with. She reached out and petted him a bit awkwardly. Well, this was novel. "Er... nice puppy."

Hugo barks happily, licking her hand gently and nuzzling close. Fred giggles gently "He likes you." She looks upstairs, itching to get out of her outside clothes "Do you mind if I go change? or if you want, you could come up to my room while I do so."

"He likes me, really?" That was new. Very new. Animals usually were tormented into hating her first. What a difference. She gave the dog a weirded out look at his snuggling. "No I don't mind, you probably should, since you're sopping wet. And I'd love to see your room." Cambria said with a grin. She wondered if it was as shiny as she was.
