Otto's eyes went icy for a short second as they flicked at Nevada. Yeah, adorable wouldn't be allowed either.
"I think theres a few places with DVD players here already. I wouldn't bother getting yer own equipment." He was fairly certain some of the commons rooms, o at least Life Labs had TVs and the like. He'd read about movie nights a lot on Twitter in the past. He kept note of her mention of offshore leave. It had been way too long since they'd gotten it at all. Every single inhabitant had to be getting cabin fever by now.
His eyes slid to the side to glance at Nevada as they reached the door. He felt she was understanding that this mission may not yield the results she wanted most. With some uncertainty and hesitation, he held her hand back until she was ready to let go.
Once the other hunter was gone, it was time to look. "Theres a lotta sleepers in here... could take forever.. wonder if they're in any order..." Since Nevada was busying herself with faces, Otto tried to look for a pattern.
"Big a** bird made up of dead Horsemen's souls or somethin'. Took out tons of stuff on the island. Ain't no Thanksgiving meal." His eyes lightly scanned the faces, the devices of every pod.
Master thief? Otto managed a brief tug at one corner of his lips before it faded soon after.

Icy eyes felt, and adorable was put off the list of words to say around the hunter. Even if Nevada thought it was adorable that he seemed to get grumpy with it. Instead she moved to another sleeper and sighed. A girl but not her sister.
"That's good to know, Then next time we have offshore leave....I'll invest in some movies for us to watch. Especially the Alien ones. There a bit sci fi..y so is there any other ones you'd think people would like?" She tapped on of the pods, making her own mental list. Sadly, that same list was being over ridden with the worry and doubt of finding her sisters pod.
"I'm sorry. I realize it's a lot to ask of you to search for her." She leaned over another one, female again but not Alaska. "If you get tired or if you want to leave please by all means do so....I just...Want to see her once more." She felt the pressure on her chest. She loved her sister and when they had graduated from school, both of them had gone their seperate ways. Alaska, always the more practical had been the first to leave while Nevada had to deal with the retribution of her father...who had expected the twins to excel. Alaska had...Nevada hadn't.
"Have you ever had someone who really understood you? Someone knew all your quirks, your flaws and virtues? Someone who went through thick and thin for you?" She was mumbling half to herself, but loud enough for Otto to hear...and respond if he wanted.
"That's what a Twin is like...We're soul mates. But sisters you know? Not to sound creepy."
She managed to tear her gaze from another pod, narrowing her eyes. "The Insanity? We've been briefed on it...sorta. Something we should be wary of." She brought her hand up to her eyes and rubbed. "I didn't know they could attack base but then...if we could do it to them...It would be the same way around."
And then she saw it...the briefest smile she had ever seen. Maybe not even a smile, maybe a figment of her imagination but her heart skidded to a thump before reset back to its usual pace. Interesting.
"I wonder if the order is based off when we were put to sleep?" She wandered to where she remembered being helped out of her pod, tapping the empty one. "This is where I woke...Maybe she is in this area?"

"I dunno... I ain't the right guy to ask about that stuff.." What did the others want? Like Hell if he knew. "Theres too many different kinds of people 'round here."
Otto shrugged. If he didn't want to be there, it was no big deal for him to simply huff and leave. For now, it wasn't out of his way to help. If anything it gave him something to do and still call it work. He'd pretend he was taking inventory.
Otto stopped looking as Nevada began listing off a certain someone. The relationship she explained mirrored something he'd had before he'd joined the hunters. Losing it was one of the many reasons he'd left home. Someone who understood him, knew his quirks, flaws and virtues. Someone he could be himself around. His icy gaze went soft as he allowed himself to remember her for a brief moment. It kind of made him happy. It also made him sad.
On the plus side, Nevada made Otto empathize with her.
He blinked, not allowing himself to dwell on that feeling much longer. "Yeah, I get what you mean.."
Otto was glad to know new trainees got the low down on at least some of the basic problems that plagued the hunters currently. It saved a lot of explaining. "Yeah, try that." His eyes gazed at her empty pod, briefly wondering what pod he and the others had woken from. It was so long ago.. a year now.

"That's okay? What movies do YOU like?" She asked instead. "I've only met a couple. You know..um Roland, Rep, Lex and Candace. All of them are exceptional people." Each person she had met as well had earned a equal show of respect amount from the mist huntress.
"Sorry don't mean to be a downer, usually I am much more...chipper." She laughed as she ran her hand over her empty pod that once held her sleeping body.
"It's a little hard after all to be seperate from someone who she knew the best." As she looked into the pods near her, the feeling of dread sunk in and buried itself deep.
"She's not here. At least, not somewhere I can find her yet." She laughed sadly now, for a moment...she allowed that brief sinking feeling to rise and cloud her eyes. Tears welled at the base before sliding down her cheek.
"I guess it was stupid to come here. We should leave. I don't want to take up anymore time looking for a ghost. Or the body of a ghost I can't even waken."

"I like disaster flicks n stuff." Otto replied in a mumble, as he usually did. Disaster films usually had a lot of explosions, chaos and drama to keep him entertained. And o the cheese factor. Cheesy films were some of the best. "Exceptional? First two are total tools, though. Latter two are pretty awesome." Because Otto's opinion on the other island residents was legit, you know. Otto shrugged, his gaze sterring from the girl and her former pod to gaze at some of the strange calm of the sleeping faces around them. IF Nevada needed a moment, he'd let her. Though he felt if she took too long he'd need to leave her alone. His gaze chanced a glance back to nevada, who looked to be ready to cry. "Yeah, it was pretty stupid." He agreed without restraint. "Come'on, let's go." He waved a hand for her to follow him out of the dismal place.

She barely heard the mumble and slid her gaze over at him. Her tears that wanted to rise were gone and amusement replaced it. Funny.
"Things with explosions often make the best movies." She nodded and then shook her head, "I don't know what you mean by tools, but I agree with Lex and Candace being awesome. Both have helped me greatly."
She walked over to him now and laid a hand on his arm.
"Thanks for the bluntness." She laughed and squeezed it. "I needed it. Well, I suppose it would be best to leave. Until next time." She waited a beat before her smile returned, tugging at her lips. "Oh Otto! I forgot to give you a reward for helping me!" She leaned over a little and laid gentle lips on his cheek.
"Thank you for helping me." She pulled back and floated past him.

"They really are." Otto agreed. Toss a tanker into a gas station and you had yourself a show to eat popcorn to. It was the simple things, you know? Otto managed a light shrug. When t came to being blunt, he was fairly known for it. Normally it got him into s**t, but once in a while that blunt honesty was appreciated. Even needed. A bonus, really, since Otto preferred to be blunt anyway. His brows rose as she announced he was getting a reward. He was expecting maybe a candy bar, maybe an IOU, or a soda from a vending machine. A kiss on the cheek? Not expected, but fairly welcome, even if he did blush a little over it. He'd manage a little courtesy, but not without some added sass; "Yer welcome... cheapskate." He mumbled, scratching his neck and following her out of the pod room.
