Marcus gave Lex a look. "Fish tacos. Where I'm from just called them jersey burgers." He said with a slight mark of disdain. He pulled at one of the pieces, slipping it out with ease. "As for my choice in seafood, I'm afraid I stick to one fish. If rather spend my time reeling in a prize then casting my net out and hoping I catch something."
He smiled. "Like a nasty case of runic rash. I'm told its been going around, maybe have you to blame for that one."

"Ah, dear friend, I never have to hope. I know that I'll catch something." He chuckled, slipping his piece out very quickly and effectively. "And I'm clean - I get checked weekly." A wink was given as he waited for Marcus to make his move.

Lex gave Marcus a piqued eyebrow as he pulled out another piece from the wooden tower, hissing as the room shook a little. It was okay though, the piece was out. Crisis averted.

There was a small hum in the back of his throat, considering what Lex had just said. "Only get ice crotch if you're ******** the freaks or in the golems. Just as Lex was about to say something about how he didn't dig in the trash, the room boomed again, and caused his hand to slip.

When Lex awoke, Marcus would be sitting across from him, putting away a black sharpie. And a small thing of smelling salts.
"Like I said, a little less harsh than some of the other training courses. Now..." The Jenga had been reset. "Would you like to continue?"

Lex woke up and sat himself down, squinting his eyes narrowly at the sharpie. Like a freaking child...
He would be more mad if he actually saw what Marcus drew - a large arrow pointing to his mouth, saying "INSERT TACO HERE."

Marcus smiled. Drawing was just how the game was played. Crude or not, there was to be no mercy. After all when you failed at life.... "I see. Well if you keep catching and then releasing... what happens when you release something worth holding onto?" A twinge of sadness. Whoops. Marcus had nearly broke Lex's concentration, but he managed to hold on just enough to get his piece of the tower out. Once done, he gave Marcus the classic piqued eyebrow and smirk.
"Well, never had to deal with that before. Here's the thing Marcus - I cast in ponds that don't have fish that get easily attached. The ponds I cast in are meant for catch and release." He shook his head. Club romances never worked out.Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 2 Total Points: 2

Giving Lex a curious look Marcus couldn't quite wrap his mind around the idea of the who catch and release. He caught Cass then... He kept her. There was point to letting go. He just didn't get it.
"So lets say you throw your line out and you manage catch something you want to keep. Maybe you keep catching this same one. You don't always aim for it but you get them all the same. What happens if one day you catch them only to have them ripped away from you." He looked at the life trainee wondering.
"What happens when you fall in love?"

His head hit the table with a loud thunk. The other hunter on duty just came out and put a sharpie next to Lex.

Lex could only chuckle at the Moon Hunter's fate - oh, ironic satire. He thanked the other Hunter on duty, uncapping the Sharpie and kneeling down next to Marcus with an apologetic grin, before he began doodling his own little masterpiece around Marcu's eyes - a pair of sunglasses only a tool would wear.
Life was hard, Marcus. Life was hard and nobody understood.

Life was hard but moons were trained to handle heavy loads. Waking up to rub his forehead Marcus did bother to try and find a way to look at his face. He failed, such was the price. "Surprised you stayed. But yeah."
Sitting upright, giving his neck a pop the hunter tapped the table. "Speed rounds? Also answer my question from before, curious about your answer fisherman."
