"BOK BOK BAWWWWWK!" the diminutive boil shouted, flapping his arms and watching his mirror image do the same, only with a great deal more feathers. He only stopped when his list accidentally fell to the floor, and when he looked up again, the mirror had changed. No longer was he a chicken. He was a beautiful man, tall and muscular, with hair that didn't look like it was held on with a rubber band.
"Nooooooo!" Carrol whined, smacking a palm against its frame. "Jackin' weak!" He crossed his arms, further crumpling his paper, then leaned back against the Beautiful Man mirror. Where to go now? He could hear voices further inside, so he supposed that was as good a place to start as any.
He started forward, moving through the mirrors at a slow walk. There was a ghoul up ahead, and she was... fixing her makeup? Carrol shrugged, stepping closer and holding his list in front of his face as he read. "Are you a cat or do you like to eat or do you have a..." He looked her up and down, noting that she was fairly humanish save for that makeup. "You're a reaper, right? Do you have a weapon?" The boil was very close to bouncing on the balls of his feet. He was the master of scavenger hunts.

Terra blinked, almost drawing an extra line on her face as she turned to the short male. He didn't LOOK to be under five feet, she thought. "Si, I am a reaper--no I am not a cat, I do like to eat, though! Does not everyone?"
Then it clicked. "Oh! You are doing the hunt! Do you need to see my weapon?" she offered, holding out a hand. "It is not a very normal weapon, I am afraid," she warned him as she summoned her mini axe style violin. There was a bow in her right hand to go with it. "See? This is my violin," she explained, showing it to him.

"Oh, hey!" he said, folding his hands in front of his chest as she brought out her weapon. Dad had told him not to touch the Amityville kids' things, and while he couldn't be sure this ghoul really went to the school, it was probably better if he didn't get used to touching anything around here. "That's cool!" He didn't think he had needed to see it for the scavenging to work, but it hadn't hurt.
"Could you sign this?" He held up his list. "I don't have a pen, but one of them might?" He pointed up ahead, where he could still hear Victoria and Mort talking.

"Oh, si! We can ask them!" Terra said, grinning at the strange boil and heading for the two who were talking.
"Pardon! Would one of you happen to have una pluma--a pen?" she asked them. "We have one of the things to cross off!" Well, her new friend did, she still had... well, nothing. But that was ok! She had time.

Nessa wonders around looking in all the mirrors at the differ sites she keeps seeing. In the distance she notices a boy with what looks to be like a scorpion tail. She wonders if he would fit into any of the things on her list for the scavenger hunt. She takes out a piece of paper and slowly walks up behind him . She stops to take a looking at him and pears back to the paper and mumbles to herself, " hmm no don't think that will work."

Carrol skittered along after the ghoul, looking expectantly at the ghost and zombie they were quickly approaching. He supposed if neither of them had a pen he would just take the loss and find another reaper with a kickass weapon. Then he would have an excuse to ask to see kickass weapons all day!
For all the eyes the boil had on the front of him, he lacked any on his back. Still, he could swear he felt someone staring...
"What? What won't work?" Carrol asked the ghoul, turning to face her. He felt a little weirded out under her scrutiny. Was she looking for the best way to cook him?
Startled a bit Nessa jumped back a little " oh. SS..sorry I was looking at my paper for the scavenger hunt." she holds it out so he could see it. " I noticed you had a scorpion tail, and I thought it would fit into one of my things I had to find, but I'm not sure if you do or not." Looking back to her paper a little embarrassed.
A few steps away, inside a mirror, a giant smile broke through the air. Nothing else was visible but that smile.
"Only a few find their way. Some don't recognize when they do, some don't ever want too."

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh," he breathed, clearly relieved that she wasn't planning on chopping him up. "Yeah, I got one too! I don't suppose you..." he peered at his list, "are a cat?" No, no, he doubted she was.
Rocking up onto his tiny toes for a moment and almost tipping over as a result, Carrol took a brief look at her list as well. He couldn't see everything on it, but that was probably for the best. "Well, I'll sign whatever you want, but if you don't think I fit, then I probably shouldn't." Wouldn't want to mess up the chance to win... whatever they were trying to win. He hadn't been paying attention when he'd entered.
He noticed the smile in the mirror nearest the ghoul and stopped breathing for a second or two. "Do you know him?"
Ah, so there were more hunt- scavenger hunters! One of them was wearing Amity's skull pin as well, so Mort was now having to mask his slightly buzzed state to two new students as well as a prospective. Yikes. "Ah, yes!" He offered the ghoul a smile along with his pen. "Part've game too, huh? How s'going f-for you? Perhaps can compare lists?" anything to not be looking at the dizzying mirrors.
She had a name, on a little slip of paper. Freya was waiting just outside the mirror entrance for the ghoul she'd been signed up to be a mentor for. Anna. Anna.. Wall.. uh.. Anna! That was good enough for her.
She crumpled up the little piece of paper, took a deep, deep breath, and prepared to make a very adamant attempt to contact her new little sister.
"ANNA WALLY WORLD ARE YOU HEEEEEEERE?"

Anna blinked. She'd been wandering around in here for a while - for the first ten minutes or so it had been exciting to admire herself from all angles, the way the color in her hair changed or the soft shift to the 'blackened' bits of her skin. And then she'd intended to walk right out and smacked into a wall.
Ever since, she'd been in... well, not hell, but somewhere unpleasant. And she was getting more and more irritated the more lost she got. So when she suddenly heard a bellow of 'Anna Wally World'...
Last. Straw.
"It's WALPURGIS! Anna WALPURGIS!" she shouted into the glassy, reflective void. Shouted? More like screamed. With her gloved fists clenched at her sides and everything. "Stop making fun of me!!" she added, angrily.
Freya leapt to attention when she realized that Anna's voice was coming from inside the house of mirrors already. She must have been late! She dove into the mirror, and started to look around. Oooh, this was... this was bad. There were mirrors here that made her look fat. And some that just showed her normally.. but she still thought she looked a little fatter than usual. She had been eating, after all.. was that REALLY how big her a** looked from behind??!?!
She realized Anna sounded mad at the name thing, and knew immediately that she'd started their companionship on the wrong foot. So, in true Freya style, she called out her name the same way Anna did. Which could also be misconstrued as making fun of her. But she did it anyway.
"I am a Brynhildr! Freya Brynhildr! Of teh viking Brynhildrs! I am supposed teh bes yehr big sister, ja?" She peered through what she thought was a wall.. until she realized she was just looking at herself. "Where are yeh? Can yeh hears my voice? I has teh comes and finds yeh."

Victoria noted down the names of the people Mort listed, smiling when Hel was mentioned, "Reapers have weapons! Why did I not think of that? Thank you, Sir Mort!" The sudden revelation got her even more excited for the scavenger hunt; her eyes might also had started to shimmer with awe at the mention of great assets.
"Hel eats all the things... I think," She nodded, looking a little unsure, "She told me that to get great assets like hers, one must eat well. Oh! Did you know that her bosom feeds on suffering?" She looked very serious as she said this, clearly buying into the lie that Hel had fed to her.
"Hello, Miss, Sir, Miss," She greeted all three with a smile and a curtsy, "I would love to compare lists! Are any of you a reaper with a weapon, by any chance? Or have a small natural form?"
A few steps away, inside a mirror, a giant smile broke through the air. Nothing else was visible but that smile.
