“Well, it is the least I could do,” TK replied. He leaned forward, his hands intertwined and pressed to the table. “I am afraid I have not visited the maul much, but I had some burgers at Pumpkin King. I thought it was pretty good.” The skeleton twisted and turned as he examined the other stores in the food court. “Pizza Shak has nice pizza. I am quite fond of Casket Robbin’s ice scream. Actually, the chicken at AFC was not bad either…” Hadn’t visited the maul much. Right.

She stared at him. He knew all the food, didn't he? With a tiny smile she thought about what sounded best. "I do not wish for eye scream," she decided. "It is far too cool here already--I am from a very warm place. I think I will try this Pumpkin King booger... thing," she decided. "I have never had one of those! I think." Well there was a pretty good chance she hadn't, she decided. "Where are they?" she asked, getting to her feet and looking around for the Pumpkin King.

“I am fond of the frozen treats, actually. I fear I am more inclined toward the colder foods than the warm foods, given I am undead,” he replied honestly, but nodded. “However, I can understand your reasoning.” TK stood up and walked over to slide out Terra’s chair. He gestured toward a particular store. “Pumpkin King is in that direction, and I must admit their burgers are interesting. It is something my land did not possess, but certainly delicious.”

"Then I would like to try that!" she said happily, looking at the store in question. It was rather gaudy, and even had a strange fellow dressed up in some sort of costume--complete with a pumpkin head--dancing in front of the place. "There is a line," she said. "It is popular enough that people line up to get it." She might have been a bit starry eyed at that point. Maybe.

“Yes,” he agreed as he stood in line. He glanced at Terra, then subtly did a double take. TK’s brows furrowed slightly as he scrutinized the reaper ghoul’s expression, particularly her eyes. They gleamed with excitement and wonder. His lips curled into a tiny smile before he continued to wait in line until they neared the front. “What would you like? Personally, I will be getting the classic. It is…well, a classic.” TK grinned.

"Then I will get that as well!" Terra said happily. "It is good to start with the original so you can see the difference in the other versions, no? Hola Sr. King person!" she called to the man in the strange outfit. "Do you not get overly warm in that strange head thing?" Then as if she'd not just asked a complete stranger a strange question, she turned to TK happily. "What are those yellow things in the picture?" she asked, pointing at the image over the counter.

TK nodded his head. “A wise choice,” he commented before shooting Terra a look as she questioned the mascot. “I do believe that is his job,” he murmured as he leaned near the reaper’s ear.
The undead straightened suddenly as she pointed toward one of the images and obediently turned toward the picture. “The yellow things? I believe that looks like cheese.” A pause. “Or perhaps you are referring to the mustard?” TK glanced at Terra before he stepped up to the counter and smiled politely as he ordered two classics.

"No, the yellow crispy things in the paper next to the booger," Terra said. "Oh well, it is not important," she decided. She didn't want to make him spend more than he had to! "This place smells very interesting!" she said, sniffing the air curiously. "Senor TK, does the booger smell like this?" she asked him.
It was like taking a puppy to the park for the first time. She would probably start asking the workers how they made their "boogers."
Which would probably turn out less than stellar.

“Oh, then you mean the fries,” he answered before turning toward the cashier. “Could we have some fries as well?” TK paused and sniffed the air a couple times. “It smells pretty similar I suppose, yes,” he said after a moment of thought before he grabbed the bag the cashier handed to him. “Thank you.”
“Let us go back to our table.” The skeleton gestured for Terra to walk back with him while he pulled out one of the burgers and handed it to her. “Here.”

Terra pulled open the paper and peeked under the bun, taking stock of what a booger consisted of before breaking into a smile. "It looks good!" she said, taking a bite out of it. Then chewed on it happily. "It is very simple, yet delicious!" she told him happily. "Gracias, senor TK!"
Then she gave him big silver eyes of hopefulness. "Can I try the fries now?" she asked. "Oh, but we should sit while eating, no?" Then she beelined for a table, expecting him to follow.
She had food to enjoy!

He bowed slightly. "It was my pleasure. Oh! Yes. Go ahead." TK took out his own burger and handed the bag to her. "The fries are in here," he said as he pulled out Terra's chair before sitting down in his own.
