Before's brows were still furrowed, his lips was still pressed into a thin line as he stared wordlessly when Ofelia began to cry. A few moments passed before he began, "I'm not gonna end you. That's not really what I wanna do. To you at least. Yeah, there are some assholes I got on my list but you ain't on it. You're no Rick."
Again he reached out to grab for her upper arm, still intent on dragging her to the Infirmary. "You're on my kill-with-kindness list. You'll stay on that list until Bix lets you know he forgives you. Or until he lets me know he's forgiven you, whichever happens first."

Who was Rick and why was she being compared to him happened to be a major question on Ofelia's mind but she pressed it back, keeping herself surrendered to her silent tears. She made no resistance this time as Before took her arm, instead she moved a step closer, and she closed her eyes and nodded to indicate that she'd just follow him.
As he kept talking, finally saying that she was a kill-with-kindness type, the redhead decided to speak. "Ah'd rather ya jus' kill me wit' yer bare hands an' get it over wit'. There's no way Bix is gonna come back an' forgive me, ever." No person, no matter how much of a saint, could or would forgive someone who killed them.
It was apparent at this point in time that Ofelia had forgotten how she'd long ago forgiven Rep for nearly killing her.

Before shook his head, this time keeping his eyes trained directly in front of him rather than glancing back at Ofie. "That's the point," he all but rolled his eyes, "You feel guilty about it long enough, you'll do all the revenging on yourself for me. But you seriously gotta lay off that burning things away. Unless what you're burning is the a*****e that tried to kill you." His voice was hard when he spoke that.
"In that case, you lemme know and I'll bring the popcorn so we can both watch him squirm." Before could hardly believe what he was saying out loud. These were normally thoughts he buried inside him and kept locked away with Vanna's chiding. But with his weapon's voice gone, with Vanna's guidance and decidedly existent common sense missing, Before's filter seemed to be on the fritz.

" . . .so yer sayin' Ah should jus' go an' kill mahself, that'll be enough fer ya?" That wasn't at all what he was saying bu that was sort of how Ofelia was hearing it in her head. She didn't have a shield right now, it would be so easy to just take a knife to her neck or a wrist or anywhere else she knew blood flowed so easily from, but she wasn't really. . .coward enough to die by her own hands. "Or Ah should jus' get mahself killed elsewhere then."
The words about revenge, about taking someone down with her and them sharing popcorn hadn't been heard at all. All the teen knew in her mind what she could do to get Before to forgive her, to get him to smile and move on. "Understood then, Ah'll...f'gur sommin' out." Not right at this moment, she didn't want to break away from him and run did she?
There was open hesitation though, her whole body almost tensing at her thoughts, but somehow she willed her legs onward.

At this point, Before turned to glare at her, "Dinah, did you not hear a single word I said? Are you going on some sorta selective listening kick? Please, please tell me you're not really like this even without that ******** awful b***h that calls herself your weapon." His face was hard, countenance bordering on murderous.
"The whole point of killing someone with kindness is to not really die by it. It's supposed to, oh why the ******** am I even explaining it!?" he yelled, throwing his arms up as if in surrender.

Before's bitter words about Rue were not missed on Ofelia and it was strange to actually hear him say something that bitter that loudly. She'd always taken him as the small and quiet type when it came to voicing concerns or anger yet there he was full on-badmouthing her weapon. Two teeth bit into her lower lip as she opened her mouth. "Would it upset ya if this really is jus' how Ah am? That Ah. . . ." She trailed off, not wanting to say much more on that. "Rue. . . jus' tells me ta die, ta off mahself an' others. Maybe this is her poison, Ah dunno." She let silence fill in the rest of that.
"Yer explain' 'cause yer a good person." Ofelia was free of his grasp now that he'd thrown his arms up, exasperated at her, and that too came like a slap to the teen. Everything she was doing or saying wasn't working, she was making a mess, and it was getting jumbled. What was she supposed to do, what was she supposed to say? Ofelia was good at being friendly, good at trying to listen to people, but when it came to fixing damage she'd done herself she might as well have gone around sharking people for how well she could do it. "Ah'm sorry, but....Ah can go from here ta the infirmary by mahself. Please.... "
She moved and started walking, going around Before in the direction of where she could get a bandage. Her mind was made up though, she wasn't really going to head there, but at least she had to fake it in order to get away. There was no point in trying, she just...needed to find a way to clear her mind. With all the silence in there all she had were her thoughts and those were too loud for her at the moment.
Finally passing him, and turning so she faced him, Ofelia offered a sad smile just as one final tear slid down her cheek. A bow of her head forward indicated either gratitude or farewell, and she straightened up to say one more thing. "Ah won' ask ya ta forgive me, jus'. . . .dun forget me, okay?" She sounded selfish, felt selfish, but before she could listen to anything else the redhead turned on her heels and dashed down the hallway.Huni Pi so uh he can chase her down or we can end this here WHAT YOU WANNA DO
