Having Rep peering at him over the top of the small glasses wasn't helping Jordan's composure at all. "Uh," he said. "Do you like how those ones look?" Because I sure do, he didn't say.
Ferros was cackling. Shut up, Jordan grumbled.

Rep wandered over to one of the shelves at the question, picking up an old cracked mirror to eye himself in it critically. "I look like a nerd." he said, while turning his head this way and that to eye the way they sat on his nose. "But I think I'm going to look like a nerd no matter what kind I end up wearing, and these ones are wee. Like, not screaming hey look this guy has shite eyes."
Apparently they met some standard of manliness in Rep's mind, not too flouncy, not too curvy - because curves were for women clearly, and silver, like many of his piercings.
He smirked at his reflection, for whatever reason feeling more intelligent just by virtue of having them on. Playfully he pushed them up his nose with a finger. When he spoke it was in his best upper class English accent. Which was incidentally a world superior to his heinous attempts at American.
"I do quite think that these spectacles should suffice old boy."

"They look good," Jordan said. Casually.
At the gesture and accent, though, he couldn't help it. He stared, and he was pretty sure he was blushing.

"You think so?" he said, feeling a whole lot less self concious about the glasses the longer he had them on.
Jordan seemed to have frozen up a bit and as he shifted his attention from the mirror to him properly, he quirked a brow. Was he.. Was he blushing? Rep's immediate kneejerk reaction was to - for whatever reason - poker face as hard as he could.
He carefully licked his lips, keeping his emotions in check, determined not to offend by laughing at Jordan's expression. There was something devious in his expression as he went on in his silly accent.
"Come now good sir, surely my manner of speech is not so vulgar as to affront you?" He had not a damn clue what half of the words even meant, but enough period dramas and you could imitate anything. He was just sad he had no occasion to say tally ho or toodlepip.
He slid back into his usual guttural growl of a voice. "Cause you are having a pure riddie right now"

" ... Er," Jordan said. "I have no idea what that means but I don't really care."

Rep's smirk broadened just a bit more toothily at the response.
"These are keepers then?" he asked.

"I like them," Jordan answered, his eyes sliding away.

"Guess I should go try them on some books then. The like, final test and all that. Surely you have some with..really teeny tiny text I can look at?" Rep couldn't keep the lurking amusement out of his voice, even as he tried to remain level and sensible.
"Doesn't even have to be books really.."
