"I like the way you think!" Before laughed as he gave Sydney a thumb's up. After wiping his hands on his apron, he offered her his pinky (seriously Before, what are you, in grade school?) "Hey, we can swear on it," he offered, wiggling his brows in a conspiratory manner.

"Once you're done with the apples, we combine them all with sugar. I know where to get 'em so find a bowl we can mix 'em all in."

Sydney laughed as they hooked pinkies, swearing to take notes if experiments were done, then said, "I'll find the sugar while you get the bowl?" She started for the supplies to dig out the sugar needed. "Is there anything else we might need?" she called from inside the pantry. "Since I'm in here already!"
