Grinning, Wilson picked up the book. "Great! So let's get things ready and go there."

"Wiiiilson," Ami chimed. He was gungho to go, but they didn't know the first thing about the area! Ami wasn't a very adventurous type as it was, but she wasn't going to some mysterious water prison with nothing but a few runics.
She tapped his nose and started picking up the books that weren't useful. "I'm going to cross reference these coordinates with the monster books- see what we're up against, that sort of thing." Ah yes, cross-referencing. It was reminiscent of her time at college, comparing pieces of literature to each other.
"Think you could write up the paperwork? Maybe get more people to come with ..." She scratched her head. "Ah, please?"

He turned cross-eyed when she tapped his nose. “Hm? Oh! Yeah, go ahead.” Wilson slid out of his chair and began to hope toward the door. “No problem! One or two others sound good to you?”

Ami let out a sigh of relief as Wilson moved his way out of the room. Her entire being seemed to relax, the rigidity of her spine calming down. Ami was completely ashamed of her feelings, even now. It felt like she was doing something dirty and wrong.
Books. Right. She gathered up the three somewhat-useful books, and put all of the ones they'd pulled out back. Wilson was so careless sometimes, she envied him. He could just walk out of a messy room, or go on wild adventures with nothing but his weapon.
She sighed, and about 15 minutes later, with everything back in order, she shut the door to the library. "I guess I'm going to the lair without you, seamonkey. I hope you're jealous."

Quote: Getting into the Underwater Labyrinth: - You need to camp out in the Weeping Forest after reading the information. Hunters can enter Halloween as well without a golem (recommended as the Labyrinth itself is very golem unfriendly due to its climate and high altitude as well as natural enemies), for a max of 30 minutes. Each roll takes 5 IC minutes - students can pretty much park here as long as they need as well as horsemen while Hunters will need to exit and enter back again. - All players roll 1d100. - Rolling 50 or less will let players find a portal that randomly leads to someone's house. Feel free to RP this as you please as awkwardly as you please - Rolling 80 or less will let players find a portal that leads to the Land of Holidays. Right now is really not the time for Xmas cheer...and the creatures there seem extremely hostile - Rolling 90 or less will lead you to the Haunted House. - Rolling 91 or higher will let you find the portal! Success! You can now proceed inside. A while later, the death hunter returned with a pair of (possibly willing???) volunteers. "Hey Ami!" he chirped.
And once they were in the Weeping Forest, Wilson found a portal.
And found the Land of Holidays gj gj.

Ami saw the Christmas in the portal and immediately grabbed Wilson, tugging him out of the madness. "Can you NOT run off like that?" she said, annoyed.
The annoyance wasn't at Wilson though. It was at his choice of recruits.
Otto was her baby. This journey could be dangerous. He could get hurt. And then Madeline.
Madeline.
"This one, please?" she said, rolling her eyes. It looked dank and prison-y enough. Turns out it really was a prison. Hey, some people called prison home. Whoops. Back through the portal to Deus they went.

Otto had no idea how much Ami seemed to coddle him. So along on the adventure he went. Death bros stick together.
In Fact, he was even there to help Wilson out during an awkward encounter to someone's house.

She also hates portals.

It's okay Mads you tried.
Wilson gives you a gold star.
He didn't even bother to apologize this time as he found himself yet again in someone else's house.
Nope. Goodbye.

No Madeline, you were not useful.
Ami managed to find herself at the exact same house as Wilson. "Well this is awkward."
