I definitely love the curly hair idea! Let that swirling out! (Perhaps some tight ringlets or something!!) Perhaps her hair is just really wild and never behaves (think Harry Potter with longer hair. XDD)
Here's a color reference thingy for my idea, basically. I like the lighter, more tan-ish colors, really. (They didn't have much for curly hair, but I think short ringlets would be best... or just very wavy hair perhaps.
Yes to dust swirls~ Perhaps they appear only when she gets upset or angry? Or they just speed up then??

Here are some images I came with. I played with the different colors of dust, so there are some big color differences. All colors used can be used for all of the avatars, I just didn't feel like making fifty of them for each style. XD;
The last few have tiny horns, which may be used to show the "devil" in "dust devil." What do you guys think of these? :3

Oooh, I really like the second one, third row! Freckles are indeed a must now! XDD OOOOOOOH! Perhaps the freckles will swirl about in reflection to her mood?!?! (ie, slow when she's calm and fast when angry or excited!)

I really like the one with light long hair. Third riw down, second over (on my phone tho). That with the tiny horns would be cute~
by clothes that move with her i mean... hmm like long, flowly dresses. Kinda shapeless, that flair out when she moves. Or anything that flairs out around her.

I actually favor the one next to that one, this one. But the funny thing is, the dust color in the pictures on the Dust Devil Wikipedia page is this-
The color of the dust is pretty much right between the two images above. What if I combined the two? The eye color and skin of the blonde haired girl and the hair color of the orange haired one? Or something like that... -Scoots to see if she can recreate the image-
The freckles are staying, absolutely! I like the swirling when excited or angry, too. @w@

I realize court is adjourned but I feel like I should mention that the orange in that picture is due to the dust in that particular area because the ground has clay deposits > u >; Normal dust/dirt doesn't tend to look like that, so I feel as though the orange hair is really out of place and doesn't really bring dust, dirt, or whirlwinds to mind at all. I'm REALLY digging the dark skin and light eyes, and from the samples I liked the lighter, sandy-colored hair. Maybe there could be a compromise, though! Like her hair sometimes shifts coloration depending on the dirt of the area she's in. So in more desert-like areas or places with clay, her hair would take on a more orange hue? Just a suggestion <3 Feel free to ignore me!

I've been experimenting with that idea! But I really liked the orange hair, so that might be her default color and then she could shift from that to whatever. Thank you for the suggestion <3

Just popping in to say that I noticed you only have the dollmaker head under Christina's appearance section, and that I HIGHLY recommend you include a written appearance as well! The dollmaker shows what hair color, skin color, and eye color you're shooting for, but other than that everything's a mystery!
Thing you could mention, for example...Does Christina have any special dust devil-related markings? How tall is she? What sort of build does she have? What clothing does she like to wear and does she also wear accessories of any sort? What about her favorite color of clothing or a special item she can't ever be without? Does she wear her hair a certain way? Remember, BP's not a mind reader and since this is a quest, you'll want her to portray Christina exactly how you see her! >u<
