The calming tones of restrained anger on both sides did keep Wolframite from flaring up too loudly, and he took a moment through Valhalla's own defense to take deep breathes and keep that urge to tear out a starseed held back in chains as best as he could. The fact that the knight wasn't a senshi was one of the few things keeping the General from wondering why he even bothered and just getting rid of him, but that wouldn't look good when he reported how he got the starseed. Starseeds were different from each other that he was sure that a knight would feel different, maybe even taste different, than a senshi starseed.
"I heard from the ghosts of the past. The youma that live in the ruins have testified to that much. It's not a lie." He'd wonder about the Queen, but he'd never doubt Tanzanite. She had always been faithful and true. They had been through a lot together.
"Why are your planets destroyed then? The people of Earth can't reach out there if you think it was us." The Negaverse had stayed on Earth. There was no reason for them to comb the galaxy destroying planets unless they poised a threat to the planet. However, he was curious why they had ruins as well.

Valhalla didn’t know what to think of what Wolframite was telling him, but it didn’t settle well with him. There were ghosts? And ruins...? As much as he would like to continue asking him questions, he knew they shouldn’t linger too long in each other’s company. Their power signatures alone would surely draw out others.
“I don’t know... but I’d like to show you someday, if you wish,” he offered, his expression determined and sincere. He wanted to understand more about the Negaverse and what they were doing, but maybe that needed to start with showing them that he, and others like him, could be trusted.
“I’m serious,” he said to make sure Wolframite understood the offer. “Not right now, but maybe the next we meet... I would like to show you Valhalla, on Jupiter. You can see everything for yourself.”

He had never been to another planet when it wasn't a mission with the full force of the Negaverse, and he looked at Valhalla with a sort of hesitant uneasiness. While he knew it was a risk to go to another planet alone, he also desired information and to continue learning more from the knight. He felt that, if he could, he could get the knights to understand the Negaverse and help them. It would be a shame if they were used and harmed by the senshi.
"Have you taken other people to your planet? How would I know you wouldn't leave me there to die or take me someplace else?" He took a breath, one that almost shuddered with a certain degree of fear. "I've been taken to places I've never wanted to before....traps. I'm not saying you are like the senshi, but you have to understand my concern. I've..." He lightly touched the scar that went up his neck to vanish into his black hair. "..learned my lesson to just jump into things."

He could see the hesitation in his eyes, a hint of unease in his voice. Valhalla could definitely understand his concern. How could he think to trust someone he barely even knew? Someone who was on 'the other side' of this war? And yet... all Valhalla could think of was that if he could convince Wolframite that they weren't all bad, they may be taking one step closer to some kind of coexistence. Maybe they would one day create a treaty between them...
Maybe that was a bit too lofty of an ideal, but if no one sought for it, it would never come to pass.
"I've taken a couple others before on more than one occasion. I've even taken a civilian," he recalled, feeling only slightly ashamed of his rash actions to get Zia to talk to him and not hide behind her other personality. The knight did his best to offer a sympathetic smile, knowing it was a strange offer. He knew only of what Wolframite had told him about himself, but... he could imagine there was a lot more to learn from him. His experiences, his thoughts...
"You won't know if I'd leave you there to die or take you someplace else," Valhalla admitted, lowering his eyes as he tried placing himself in the General's shoes for a moment, and then looked back up at him with strengthened determination. "But I do give you my word that no harm will befall you. I only... want peace."
Whether or not Wolframite would believe him was another story...
"Just think about it, okay? Next time we cross paths and that's something you'd like to do, we can... if not, then at least you know the offer is still there. But until then..." he said, taking a step back as he looked the young man over. "Try and get some sleep, okay? You look kind of worn out..." He gave a small nod as he turned, hoping that one day Wolframite would either trust him to an extent, or want to know enough to throw caution to the wind. If he could just see what had happened to their worlds... maybe they could understand a little more of each other.
