With a hit that intense, Mara could do nothing to fight back. All she could do was float sadly to the ground, too tired to maintain flight.
"It's okay," said Charlotte as she returned her to her ball. "You did your best."
She smiled at the trainer opposing her. "Thanks again for the battle - it was pretty intense! I hope to see more of you two sometime!"
