Now that he had her on the ground, he pressed his arms down against her to hold her down, and grinned wildly.

As if to prove his point, he pulled on her hair. Like a brat.

Oh. OH, IT WAS ON.
Eva pulled free from Robert's hair-tugging attack long enough to think back to their last spar. What were some of the things that had worked on Rober--ah.
Using this as her chance, she attempted to grab the man in an awkward headlock and noogie the hell out of him.
Wait was this supposed to be serious.

What was even happening-
Robert literally just slumped in her arms as she grabbed him and noogied him. He just sat there, unmoving, and took it, because the entire concept was so confusing, so absolutely not what was supposed to be happening, that it shocked Robert into inaction.
For about 10 seconds.
Then he sucker punched Eva in the chest. He bet she wished she had her abs back, now.

Oh.
Oh, he did not just punch her in the boobs. That just wasn't something that you did! The girl winced, and then promptly retaliated by getting up, taking a few steps back, and doing a running jump, careful to aim herself that she flopped right on top of Robert.

Robert didn't mean to punch her in the boobs. HE REALLY DIDN'T! But the fact was, when you punched a girl in the abdomen area, there was always that chance you were going to hit boob. He almost winced for her when it connected, but it didn't last long. Eva knew how to take care of herself - and if any attacker ever tried to hit her in the boobs again, she would know exactly how to take him down.
"HOLY CHRIST EVA WHAT-" Robert's arms were up around his face, trying to protect what was important.

...Eva found it interesting that he automatically covered his face. Weren't guys--for good reason--typically more protective of their crotches?
Not that the girl felt so inclined to actually hit him there. Instead, she just...stayed there, flopped on top of him.

But she wasn't.. actually.. hitting him.. what.
Robert pulled his hands away from his face and stared at up at the girl. He waited for her to take a pot shot, or something, but nothing came..
And this was where Eva went wrong.
Robert wrapped his arms around her waist, and started to get up onto his feet. He held her like a box, under his arm, until he got to a soft spot on the training field. There, he dropped her onto the floor, face down, and turned around so his back was to her.
"You know, Eva, sometimes, you've just gotta stop and take a minute to enjoy the world around you."
He fell, completely rigid, down onto her, back to back, to smush her into the ground. Then he spread out, covering her completely until she was invisible underneath him.
His hands rose up behind his neck and he looked up at the sky.
"Yeah. Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while.. you might lose a spar."

...And all that Eva could think, as she lay there stuck beneath a giant man was that she really should have taken the crotch shot when she had the chance.
