Beat By Beat
Osha followed the rhythm of the world from the day he was born. Tap. Tap. Tap tap tap. He moved from place to place to the sound of a drum. Tap. Tap. Tap tap tap. His heart resonated the chorus of a thousand singing angels. Tap. Tap. Tap tap tap. And with his little feet tapping along, he discovered the world, beat by beat. Tap. Tap. Tap tap tap.
Dancing was as innate to him as walking to a growing toddler. Clap. Clap. Clap clap clap. He twisted and he shaked and he caused a delightful scene. Clap. Clap. Clap clap clap. The city didn't know what hit them as he leaped through the air. Clap. Clap. Clap clap clap. And with his arms outstretched, the world clapped along, beat by beat. Clap. Clap. Clap clap clap.
Making friends with others was as easy as one, two, three. 1. 1. 1, 2, 3 He ran into a lovely girl named Sybelle who gave him some garlic bread. 1. 1. 1, 2, 3 They walked through the alleys together and sat for a while. 1. 1. 1, 2, 3 And after meeting her best friend Gabriel, he became part of a trio, beat by beat. 1. 1. 1, 2, 3
Now the nights are five times as warmer in the heart of the big city. Thump. Thump. Thump, thump, thump. Sleeping in the alley ways is no longer a lonely state. Thump. Thump. Thump, thump, thump. Sybelle and Gabriel are cozy pillows for a weary head after a long day spent dancing. Thump. Thump. Thump, thump, thump. And the thumping of their heartbeats has become a blissful lullaby, which Osha drifts off to sleep to, beat by beat. Thump. Thump. Thump, thump, thump.

There's A Star In The Tip Jar!
Night had dropped it's darkness upon the city and all of it's inhabitants were moving towards their homes, if not already snug within them already. Still, a small crowd of people stood enamored by the alleyways, all watching one small figure dance to the sound of a boombox playing in the window of a store. It was none other than Osha, the dancing Meloetta, that was providing such entrapping entertainment that evening, for the night was still young. He wiggled and shaked to the beat of the drums blasting through the speakers of the boombox and giggled when the crowd clapped along.
The song finished just as Osha hoped it would, his little legs growing weary from all his dancing, and he gleamed up at the growing applause. He took several bows, accepted hugs and pats on the head, and chattered his thank yous as the crowd dispersed and moved in their separate directions. Then, the tiny dancer plopped down on his bottom and heaved a heavy sigh of relief. He was so tired! All this dancing was fun, but it was taking all of his strength to keep going! He had completed over fifty routines today and even repeated ten old ones just for the heck of it! His body ached, his head was heavy, and he wanted to go to bed. He rose to his feet, wincing at how sore they were, and peered down the alleyways for Sybelle to appear. She was supposed to come and pick him up as soon as he was finished, but she was nowhere to be found! He huffed and swirled around again, deciding to take a seat and wait for her instead of wandering off by himself.
That's when he noticed a strange glow coming from a tin canister that sat beside the boombox. He gasped and hopped over to it, grinning wildly. His tip jar was glowing! Someone must've left him something really nice! Sybelle and Gabriel would be so proud of him! He dumped the contents of the canister onto the ground and sat down to count just how much he had earned, and to find the source of the pretty white glow. He had earned $63.82 cents that day, which made him very happy, it meant that he and his family would be able to buy things that they needed for two more weeks. Then, he saw something that made him squeal with joy.
"A star! A star!" He cried, wiggling and clapping his hands. It lay among his counted change like a rare, gorgeous gemstone glowing in the rays of the sun. This was a irreplaceable treasure to Osha, who had already been told may tales of what stars could do to a Pokemon, and his heart pounded with increasing excitement. He snatched to star up from the ground and cuddled it close to his body, giggling and squealing as the glow radiated upon his skin. "I will be like Sybelle, Gabriel and Verse soon!" He exclaimed. "Yay! Yay! Ya-" He collapsed onto his side and fell into a deep sleep before he could finish celebrating, the star's glow steadily increasing with each passing minute he lay asleep.
