Dragon Personality:Naive, innocent, and rather silly at times, this dragon seems like it'd be better suited to a different time. This dragon seems to have a certain reluctance to play the hero in most everything. In fact, it seems to have an air of having greatness forced upon it. Despite its lack of ambition, its rider will help motivate him, perhaps even to making rank.

This dragon may become a wonderful ranking dragon--eventually. With reassurance from friends--and its rider, of course, it may rise up in ranks. This dragon seems to have a fear of failure; especially when it comes to its friends. Fiercely loyal, to the point of it almost being a flaw, this dragon will do (just about) anything to protect its friends.

This dragon doesn't do well with authority, especially when it feels it can do something. It has orders from his wingleader to stay put? Ha. This dragon's not staying put, it's going and doing something about that threat--whatever it may be. This dragon, as stated before, has the air of someone who's had greatness thrust upon them, but its rider may find--and those who know this dragon may find--that it suits the dragon. It disregards authority (except his own, or when ordered by any gold), it takes matters into its own hands, and it has a strong desire for all things right.

This dragon has trouble accepting the truth. It has trouble trusting others unless it sees proof of it. It may have troule believing in his own abilities as a Weyrling. Is its rider sure they won't fall?

Dragon Personality:This dragon is a trickster. That's one of the first things its rider will notice about their dragon. If not the dragon's tendency for thievery. This dragon will often attempt to remain unseen. For a dragon, one might have thought this was impossible. Not for this one! It appears to be faster than the average dragon---and better at hiding.

Its rider best be careful! At least while this dragon's a Weyrling. This dragon will undoubtedly grow to a point where it will no longer be able to hide as well. A tail may poke out from behind a sand dune. A head knob from underneath the shallow waters of the lakes.

This dragon is a talkative thing! The trouble is, one can never tell when it's being honest or not. One may assume that dragons are generally honest, and so should it be. It isn't that you'd expect the dragon to lie--it's the tone it uses when speaking. This dragon constantly sounds like it's up to something. Like a mischevious child attempting to pull a prank on their parents, but not quite managing to sound innocent.

This dragon simply isn't interested in flights. Nope. Nuh-uh. Well, maybe if--yeah, not interested. Other dragons are there to flirt with. To play with. To swim with! And perhaps to lay with when the occassional cool Trine night happens. It will participate if pressed by its rider--but its rider should know that they owe their dragon something.

Any Notes: Hermes, the God of travel, hospitality, trade and thieves. Second youngest of the Olympians and the god of messengers. I shot for childlike with this one, as he is most often described as a child or youth / taking on the form of a boy, too young for woman's attentions.

Dragon Personality: This dragon is average in size for its color, but its big personality can make it seem larger than life. It wants to befriend everyone: flits, dragons, humans, and even whers. As a result, it’s always happy to meet new people and is quite the social butterfly, checking up on all the people it knows. And that’s another thing: this dragon is always on the move. It never seems to go anywhere or do anything in a hurry, but it's always bustling around, cooing over hatchlings, lending an ear to a heartbroken cook, trying to convince serious dragons/people to lighten up and do something silly with it, and more.

This dragon uses its girth and bold personality to muscle through issues. It has an easy, but unmistakable assertiveness to its personality. Unfriendly dragon being antisocial? This dragon will just plop itself right next to the other dragon and start chatting away. Got a physical fight going on? This dragon will wedge itself between the two combatants and just sit there, using its body and “you have disappointed me” look to halt the altercation in its tracks. Having an argument? The dragon’ll take it upon itself to act as mediator, and if the two parties can’t come up with a solution then it’ll take matters in its own claws.

While this dragon can follow orders, it often ends up in a leadership position because of its personality. It’s not so much that this dragon actively seeks to lead others, but that it just does. If it sees a need, then it won’t sit around and wait for someone else to fill it; no, this dragon will take the initiative and solve the problem itself. It sees no point in leaving something undone if it’s capable of doing it. As a result, it also has no problem asking others for help; it that’s what it takes to get the job done, then who cares?

There’s no such thing as a perfect dragon though, so of course this one has its flaws. For one, this dragon loves food. Eating makes it happy, so it eats whenever it can get away with it, giving it a tendency to be overweight. This dragon sometimes has issues recognizing personal boundaries/space, which can get it in trouble, and finally, this dragon’s desire to see everyone get along leads it to occasionally putting itself in harm’s way.

Dragon Personality: This dragon is all for one and one for all. When it comes to being a part of the crowd, part of a whole, no other place is where this dragon would rather be! A social creature who loves to know what is going on, this dragon makes sure to keep an ear on its favorite wing mates or even other dragons in different wings. And of course, if someone else needs to know what is going on, why not pass on the info? After all, a Weyr that knows together can work together to get the task done! So come over, sit down, share a wherry buck and enjoy the day.

And speaking of tasks. This dragon loves to work and will be single-minded about it. Once given a job or task, it will follow what it is told to the very last period. It will not deviate or change course unless otherwise told. Because, well, if it wasn't the right way then why would it have been told to do it in the first place? So the order must be right, no matter what. Plus, if it is for the good of the Weyr, even better! In this way, this dragon will also have almost unending endurance and concentration until it decides that its task is completed to the fullest.

Dragon Personality: This is a dragon who cannot condone cruelty and injustice. Where violence and madness run's rampant they will be the first to make their stand rallying their allies to join their crusade to see the world made into a better place. However they do not go to battle lightly and while they will fight with as much conviction as any of their brethren they hold an unusually high value of life. Every option of diplomacy, bargaining, politics, and manipulation will be exploited first before they're willing to wage war. Even then they seek to make the battle's short and concise hoping to end them with sparing as much bloodshed as possible. For their allies they would gladly give their lives to see that they're friends might live to carry on. This dragon holds in high esteem not only bravery and courage, the cleverness and the strong moral. Underhanded tactics, murder, cruelty, and abuse no matter who it's against will never be tolerated by this dragon. In fact often times the violent acts some are willing to commit for such trivial things like money appalls them and leaves them disgusted. When faced with this their calmer demeanor gives way to a fierce and steely temper as they seek to avenge those fallen or heart and bring justice raining down of the evil-doers.

However when it comes to people and other dragons they can be too kind. This dragon believes in the goodness in all creatures and wants to steer people back onto the proper path. This can often times lead to them getting their heart broken or being betrayed when it turns out the person they're trying to help will never change their evil ways. Just because some people refuse to uphold such proud morals will not stop this dragon from striving to be an example for it's fellows. They'll face whatever task set before them with dignity or at least a strong front. In fact they'll be the very last to give up clinging to their work whether this is to hold the line in a fight, taking up the slack in a chore, or aiding in wing practice they'll be the first to arrive to help and the last to leave holding out until their friends are done.

This is a very vocal dragon prone to large grand and theatrical performances or small emotionally calculated steps. They thrive on keeping up their friends moral and refuse to allow anything to dash the hopes and dreams of their allies. This dragon is almost always found at the heart of a group nudging and helping their friends along the way or trying to draw the shyer dragons and humans out of their shells. While their plans may not always make sense at the time there's very much a method to their madness most of the time though sometimes they can just be caught up in the emotion and grandeur of an event and forget themselves in the thrill that is life. When this happens it's not unusual to find them spouting off poetically about the romanticism of life and the world in general from how they see it through their own rose colored glasses.

Dragon Personality: This dragon is unceasingly curious, always wanting to get into everything and find out what's there, what it is and what it does. As a weyrling this means it's likely to squeeze into places it probably shouldn't be, and stick it's nose in everyone's business. Rebuffs and even punishments don't deter it for long; there's just so much out there to see, and it wants to see everything! When it grows older and getting into places becomes impossible, it'll have to find out about things another way. This means it still sticks its nose in everyone's business, but mostly by asking everyone questions about everything instead. This dragon is persistent about pursuing something it thinks could be interesting, and ferrets out information by wearing people down until they satisfy it or drive it away somehow. However, it can be easily distracted at times, since there are always so many interesting things everywhere. If it gets into something it shouldn't, pointing it at something else that could capture its attention might be a way to send it away.

It always seems to be moving, and can never sit still for long. When directed to constructive activities, this means it can work for a long time without getting tired, though it may get bored. If not given constructive activities, it will find some other outlet for its energy, which will likely involve getting into things it shouldn't. The only time it seems to be still is when it's asleep, and even then it has a tendency to twitch and shift position.

It's a very playful dragon, willing to make a game out of anything it finds and overflowing with ideas on how to do so. It's always happy to have others join in it's games, and will sometimes try to draw people in whether they want to or not. But it can be territorial with the things it considers as belonging to it, whether it be a place, item or person. Its usual cheerful manner can become bristling and aggressively defensive the moment it thinks its thing is threatened. Once the threat is gone however, it quickly resumes its usual demeanor, and rarely holds a grudge.

Dragon Personality: Why hello there! What might you be up too? Oh and such a looker too! As far as dragon's go this one is a proud and well adept flirt with a distinct love for all things beautiful and magnificent. While other's might call them shallow this dragon revels in it's nature and could care less what others thought of it. Oh you don't like them? Well go between yourself for all they care your anger, hate, and small little mind clearly can't comprehend their beauty or their ways. All this dragon wants to do is be adored and adore in turn and if your hide doesn't make the cut or if your not interesting enough then you're clearly not worth their time.

However this dragon isn't all sass. In fact as far as dragon's go it's quite a perky one! Though they tend to get easily distracted by each new fashion or pretty thing that catches their attention. However once they've latched onto you they're determined to keep you in their entourage and will defend their friends and fellows vehemently. This is one dragon with a deep love for plants and nature especially flowers. They'll likely be asking their owner to pick up all sorts of plants and want their weyr decorated with them. However flowers only live for a short time and like the flower this dragon will bloom in all it's brilliance for only a little while at a time growing easily bored with this project or that and getting into a huff and wanting to move onto something a bit more interesting. It'll take a good deal of work from their rider to keep this dragon on the right path or else their prone to flaunting off to go hang around with their favorites and gossip. This dragon LOVES gossip and especially likes meeting the people at the center of it. However they only want to be at the center themselves if it's good gossip! No one wants to hear about what an air headed snappy little thing everyone else thinks they are and if this dragon happens to hear a bad piece oh they'll throw quite a fit! Refusing to have anything to do with anything for a couple of days until they're sure the embarrassment has passed!

Dragon Personality: If this dragon was one of the Seven Dwarves, it would be Grumpy. More often than not it seems to be in an irritable mood, and it doesn’t take much to really set it off. It is very impatient with others, finding must of them stupid and/or irritating. Part of the reason for this is that it is smart for a dragon, so by comparison many of its peers really are less intelligent than it. Another reason is that this dragon hates indecisiveness and flip-floppers, and sometimes (over)compensates by making hasty decisions.

When this dragon gets on a roll, watch out! Dragon can rant! It prefers sarcasm and dry wit to outright rage, which is probably the only reason it hasn’t alienated more people than it already has. When it’s just grumpy this dragon is tends towards inactivity, but when angry it becomes restless and its body language aggressive. It’d never actually hurt anyone though, partially because it’s against dragon nature, and partially because it gorges itself or goes flying to let off steam.

There is a softer side to this dragon, though it’s rarely seen. When it lets itself care, this dragon is actually quite sensitive, so it can take criticism and insults very hard. Inept though it seems to be with the softer emotions, it can still recognize them in others, and will try to help in a roundabout way: snarking someone out of a bad mood, convincing a Flitt to go play with a crying child, etc.

Dragon Personality: This dragon is one fine-looking specimen and it knows it. It flaunts its looks, a subtle but confident sway to its walk when it knows others are watching. It takes great care its appearance, insisting on daily baths and frequent oilings. Its vanity even extends to its rider, which it expects to look good. If its rider is not putting enough effort into their appearance then this dragon will fuss and scold them.

Already blessed with a sleek, well-proportioned frame and delicate features, this dragon makes a further impression with its poise. It is fluid in motion and daintily composed at rest. Its voice is gentle with a calculated softness, and this dragon usually displays good etiquette. Manners are, in its opinion, of great importance, because they keep things civilized. It is for this same reason that it doesn’t chafe as much as one might expect at Weyr ranks; even if it doesn’t always like them, and sometimes even complains about them, it knows they’re necessary.

There is a vicious streak in this dragon that makes itself known in various ways. It holds grudges - even if it can’t always remember why – and can be very passive-aggressive. It is capable of delivering insults in a politely demeaning way, which often makes them worse. It is a fierce Thread fighter, freely working itself to exhaustion, and it finds a primitive joy in hunting and ripping prey apart.

Anyone familiar with this dragon would probably not be surprised to learn that it is quite comfortable with politics. It makes small talk easily and is a fairly convincing in debates. A world built on compromises, back-stabbing, false appearances, and furtive viciousness? It’s the perfect place for this dragon. It will take to dragon gossip and Weyr politics like a duck to water, and who knows where that may lead it and its rider?

Dragon Personality: Oh dear. This dragon is… well, it’s a bit not-nice. It’s small for its color, something that is a serious sore point for it. It didn’t ask to be small, and will quickly become resentful towards anyone it feels finds it lacking due to its size. It’s a defensive and suspicious dragon, always suspecting an ulterior motive or ill intentions, in part because it itself is often guilty of such things.

Being so angry and suspicious means that this dragon is rarely happy, and it is proof of the saying “misery loves company.” Why should anyone else be happy while it suffers? It’s subtle about it, but it gets a vindictive pleasure in bringing others down. A seemingly thoughtless comment here, an innocent look there; this dragon is skillful at acting. Pity it rarely uses such skills for good.

Although this dragon expresses a dislike for such “sticky” things as emotions, it is skilled at recognizing and predicting such things, which helps him manipulate others. That, combined with a keen mind, makes it a natural at solving puzzles. If you can get this dragon interested in your problem – and that’s a big “if” – chances are it can help you find a solution, assuming the problem is not too complex or technical.

With its mind and personality, it’s no surprise that this dragon prefers solitude to crowds, and science to sentimental things like art. In fact, this dragon is very curious and loves to learn, though it doesn’t like to have its eagerness on display. It likes to find nice, secluded spots where it and its rider can perform various experiments in peace. Such moments are treasured by this dragon and it doesn’t take kindly to them being interrupted, or having its spaces invaded.

Dragon Personality: This dragon has a very distinctive appearance and is rather attractive, which most would consider a blessing, but unfortunately it is also very shy. It shies away from the spotlight, freezing or panicking when thrust front and center in front of others. It is easily flustered and doesn’t handle compliments well, unless given by its rider. For this reason it wishes it were plain so that it would attract less attention from others.

All dragons share a bond with their dragons, but this dragon is especially close to its rider. The world is a big and often scary place, so it looks to its rider for comfort and reassurance. It draws strength from its rider, and in turn is very loyal and obedient. It strives hard to make its rider happy, and while normally a meek dragon, it will gather enough courage to stand up for its rider if someone truly upsets or threatens them.

For all its skittishness, this dragon can be a surprisingly good teacher for (very) small groups. It is very patient and empathetic, and guides with a gentle but firm touch. It does best with youth – hatchlings and children alike – where its parental instincts can be used, and where its larger size (and presumably greater experience) helps boost its fragile confidence.

In the overall scheme of things, this dragon is a helper dragon. It doesn’t seek to lead; in fact, it balks at the prospect. It prefers to work in the background, where it is happiest. There this dragon’s empathy, patience, and sweet nature allow it to excel, and though its efforts may be taken for granted, it won’t become bitter about it.

Dragon Personality: Things are never more interesting than when they are changing! This dragon loves to be in the middle of the action then over there learning with his rider and wait! What is happening beyond those hills? Ever curious and always wanting to learn more, this dragon will spend all of its spare time trying to learn something knew or making sure that it is trying something new. You stay still and life passes you by! Because of this, this dragon's rider will have to work hard to make sure it buckles down and focuses on one task at a time. The plus side is that each task with be met with enthusiasm. The downside, the more boring and tedious the task, the more it will try to escape into doing something new. This may cause many battles with its rider over performing some duties but in the end, its rider will always win.

This dragon is lean and keen. Long in limbs and hard-working in flight, its enthusiasm will carry it well in the air. Endurance is the keep here and making sure that it doesn't wear itself out too fast. And on the ground, this dragon has no problems going up to others and asking questions until it is satisfied with the answer. And if this dragon feels like it is being invaded, it will work to find a new angle or take on a mission to get what it wants. Look out if you are on its receiving end of questioning, your brain may come out worse for wear. And because of this, it will push its rider to learn more and be more involved as well. Because knowing helps with change and who doesn't like change! Even as this dragon ages, it will always keep a youthful mentality and almost a joking, trickster one.

Name: Naree

Dragon Personality: You want the job done, this dragon can get it done! Okay, so it's methods aren't exactly normally nor would you recommend trying this in the weyr. But that is okay! This dragon loves to think outside the box and puzzle it's way to an answer. And if going from A to C requires X and Q in the middle, don't overlook the results. Because of this way of thinking, this dragon may sometimes want to rebel against those giving the orders especially if it doesn't think the orders make sense. It's rider must also be firm in making sure this dragon stays in line when necessary or there will be a lot of punishments for these two. This dragon often works on instinct, picking up on what others may not see the first time. Not afraid to turn over every stone to get an answer, it will attentive to all its surroundings. Though left to its own amusement, this dragon may start to point out the fault in others or create small pranks to see if its rider is keeping up.

Besides being a good puzzler, this dragon is also a good friend. If you need someone to lament to or get advice from, this dragon's ability to pay attention to details will make it popular with the others for advice. The downside is this advice may be crude or seem pointless right off the bat, perhaps causing some offense to others. It is up to the rider to teach this dragon tact and maybe some more softer ways of speaking to others. Together, these two will fly together well so long as this dragon stays on point and on the same level with its elders/higher ups.

Dragon Personality: There is always plenty of time to stop and smell the roses. And what is a rose but a flower whose scent and color is so lovely? Oh yes, this dragon has a love of words and a love of music. When this dragon speaks, expect to have to wade your way through many extra phrases and colorful descriptions before coming to the meat of what it means or is trying to say. Not that this is a bad thing during day to day conversations but when dire straights or events of great importance are happening, it will be up to this dragon's rider to get it to speak quickly and clearly. Which may put it in a bad mood but it will never hold onto the anger for long. After all, anger smears the beauty of the world around it.

This dragon loves being around others. It may try to create its own little words or poems to describe other dragons. When taken with another, it may try to warble songs, say flattering things, or even try to find pretty trinkets to who its object of affection. Hopefully, these things are not taken the wrong way for this dragon is also soft hearted and its feelings are easily bruised. It will be up to its rider to soothe ruffled feathers and help get past any grief. In the air, the dragon will seem to be able to get into spaces others can't quite make. It is agile and enjoys doing twists & turns on the currents. When it comes time to show off or prove itself able, this dragon will always be first to volunteer.

Dragon Personality: Good Golden Ramoth, hasn't anyone heard about structure around here? This dragon is aware of your shenanagins and it is not amused. Quality over quantity and hasn't this Weyr ever heard of 'quality control'?

As you can tell, this dragon is a barrel of laughs. It is very much about being the best, always, forever, and if someone is trying to succeed more than you are, then you are doing something wrong. It is a fan of smaller groups and higher quality, picking and choosing its friends to best fit what it sees as the elite. When an adult, this dragon may try to head hunt the most successful and competant wingleader, color or gender be damned. It views it's clutchsiblings in much the same light as any other - some are better than others. Those others who are not as good as the best need to be tromped on, like any other dragon, wher, or human that has decided that 'scraping by' or 'bare minimum' is enough.

Laziness and willful ignorance is an abomination as far as this draconic spitfire is concerned. Burying ones head in the sand is absolutely not tolerated. Willful ignorance is abhored and you should feel ashamed for it. But laziness isn't just not working, it's also not enjoying your off time. When this dragon and its rider aren't working, it's all up for a good time... with only the best of course. None of those silly and (in its opinion) less than intelligent dragons or riders. They are made of subpar stuff and if this dragon is going to play air-tag, it is going to pay the best sharding air-tag ever and it won't do with those 'drunk fliers'.

If a person or dragon is not good enough, this dragon will give them a talking. Bespeaking? Not a big deal. Straighten up or get the frag out.
