While the fact that her little banging of the table doors didn't really reward her with anything, Belladonna still passed a smile and an enthusiastic thumbs up back to Xiu. Momentarily she stared at the little fluff ball on Xiu's head, wondering when a foxfire had joined them. Except that was totally a student but he was so fluffy she might die. But then a scream distracted Belladonna enough that she remembered she was here on a mission. For a potential job. Maybe. One day.
If she could do this right!
Carefully the witch ducked back into the closet when the lights flicked on, and let the others do their work. It seemed like a whole team of students were here trying to frighten this child, and the comaradere was fun!

Quietly the witch unsheathed her cards, sure to dim their glow to nearly invisible and waited. The little fluffy student had crawled closer to the bed and had begun a little giggle, and Belladonna didn't see anything wrong with helping the illusion. She flicked her cards up and grouped them so that they formed a tall, jagged edge shadow that cast itself over the boy's bed. Should he look out from the safety of his enclosure, he would see the shadows of two long hands reaching for him.

From her hiding place, Astra was able to see the tiny animal move into the room and jump into the toybox. She blinked at the sight, wondering what a foxfire was doing here. Was it a student? (And was she imaging things, or was that a tiny bump on it's head...) But regardless of who he was, the pup was doing a great job at scarying!

Checking her meter, the fairy was shocked to see how much fear she had collected just from this room. She was getting good at this! Opening the window once more, Astra took her exit, ready to go and find another human to scare.

Ok this was unfair. Why did some human get to have such a cool bedroom? Spending a few minutes sneaking around and admiring it, Kwasi almost forgot what he was supposed to be doing. Looking around, he buzzed into the closet, leaving the door open a crack. Once he was comfortably settled down, he decided to stick with what had brought him success so far, and began to emit a pale green flickering light.

Success!

The little foxfire dropped to the ground, and silently bounced twice before regaining his feet. Children were actually kind of fun, now that he knew they were so easy to scare. And it was fun scaring with people he knew too, that reaching arm shadow trick had been a great follow up. But it was time to find a new room, and leave this child for another.

The pup slipped back out the way he came in.

As Aksaja crept into the room, he stopped for a moment just to stare. Jack where was even this kids bed . . . oh. Way up there? Wow, that made it easy to sneak around for damn sure. Because of that fact, the dragon spent a good few minutes poking about the room looking for something really scary to do. Eventually he moved to the bottom of the rope ladder and started shaking it and snarling as if he was climbing up to eat the child in his bed.
