Edgar ignored his companions protests and insults. He had a raging fire woman to deal with and wanted to get off the crime scene before...too late. The familiar sickly and intimidating tone came clear as day and Edgar flinched. His flamboyant nature changing to a much more serious one as soon as he caught sight of the dear head of police. "Bee" as he so simply called her, was possible the only woman other than the queen that he was ever so slightly terrified of. She may have been a small package of explosive rage, but she knew exactly where she ranked and that it was clearly above him.
He grinned a shameless and slightly flirtatious turning of his lips and bowed lightly to the woman. It wasn't a respectful gesture, but almost apologetic. "Ah, um...Bee, my dearest. You're looking lovely as always." He gestured to Zane with a slight flourish of his wrist and smiled brightly. Lying through his teeth. "This is my companion and colleague. A new addition to my contacts. I hired him just this morning as my new occult specialist. Due to the strange nature of the crime scenes." He blushed a little and cleared his throat.
"We were just about to return to our office and go over some of the evidence we just gathered." He snatched the paper from Rose and handed it gracefully to Beztsveten. Hoping the captain would accept it and let them go without further delay. He was getting very tired of being help up and kept from his investigation.
