Ankou tried to defend herself, but to no avail. She felt the claws dig into her skin and rip. This could not be the way she would die, she thought to herself. She snarled back, and pulled out her claws and managed to get one strike in before getting attacked again. More then anything she wanted to insult the cheetah more. It was obvious in a physical fight the cheetah would win, but Ankou was sure if it was purely verbal she would defeat the cheetah.
“Get her off me.” She hissed toward the male cheetah when she heard him speak. “Get your little, out of control beast away from me now, before she kills me.” She managed to say during the attack, though usually between strikes. Ajani hurried to the two females fighting. “Rada stop right now!” He yelled at her, wondering what caused her out of control behavior. She had never been like this, was this how she behaved on missions. “Rada, please, I do not like you when you act like this. I want the peacekeeper Rada, not this violent Rada.” He got closer to her and started to shove her away from the lioness. “We can handle this a different way. The lioness gets your point. She will leave and we will go our separate ways.”
The pain in his paw had dimmed thanks to the action. He kept pushing Rada, hoping she would calm down. His attention went to the lioness. “If you know what's good for you, you will leave now.” He said to her. He was almost tempted to let Rada have at her a bit more after she had insulted Rada, but decided it best not to.

She wasn't normally like this.. she wasn't normally like this!!! If her brother would have saw her now, no her mother- and after countless swipes- finally she stopped when she heard Ajani yell. The sudden call, made it almost easy to push off and she stumbled enough to get her to realize what she had been doing... Her eyes were large, rounded and almost completely feral but now, she had reverted to fear almost.. Never having been through a rage mode before in her life, and she couldn't help but be scared and jumped off of her.. Quickly coiling around Ajani protectively. Having done that with Abila multiple times as she had to defend the very fur on their backs from danger.
But with Ajani.. it was a closer coiling.. closer than just a bodyguard.. and her body had trembled with a fierceness... ready to at any moment start attacking again, and gritted her jaw just to push the adrenaline away. Speech at this moment had escaped her and she looked away and almost lowered her body. Maybe by an inch- which was saying a LOT for a fighter of their pride.. Never lower yourself in front of an enemy.. But she hadn't ever been like this.. ever.
Yes. She probably could have killed her and her claws ached to tear more and she to much of her own stressed looked at Ajani.. then cowarded, pressing her face against his shoulder. He- restraining the beast she had become.. Was this .. something more than just a rage... was this a gene that had been hidden among their blood? Or had this been the countless brainwashing of the fighter ranks within the pride. Curling her tail around her leg as she looked away.. Trying to grab ahold of her senses, sanity and mind from leaving her again..
She was his beast.. Not completely hearing what Ajani said to the lion. It was like an echo within her.. Yet still.. those same blood filled paws were ready... ready at any moment...
Club Snails I guess sister and brother have a little secret.. X3

Ankou didn't need to be told twice to get out of there. She quickly got up and ran for it, without looking back. Her legs didn't stop moving till she was far away from the two cheetahs. The pain she had from the scratches stung. It wasn't as intense as the pain she felt from her lack of pride. She had thought she could always be able to protect herself, in any situation. However a cheetah, a female cheetah was the one that shattered her pride. Her rage was slowly growing like a fire. Right now she needed a break, but she would never forget the injustice of what the cheetah had done to her. Someday she would be sure to give her the same treatment. Once she caught her breath, she continued to distance herself form the cheetahs, until she could no longer see them. He didn't react when she laid her head on him. It was a small moment for them usually, but now it was such a unique moment between them. He just let her lay there. His heart beat slowed down, as the danger cease. “Are you alright?” He asked quietly. The lioness had triggered something in her. Sol had told him about his own surge of anger randomly. Ajani couldn't help but think it must be something in the family. He didn't mention it though. Right now he had to make sure Rada was alright. That was his main focus. He wanted to be able to take her back to the pride. This mission had been a disaster from the start.
He moved his tail, so it was near hers. “Do you want to talk about what happened?” He asked. Talking was something he thought would help. He knew that it wasn't best for everyone, but he couldn't think of what else he could do.

"I thought I was ... going to ....lose you." She had leaned away from him. Looking up for a second and then nudging her head, rubbing it against his cheek. "I don't... know..what I would do without you." The words.. full of hurt. But one could sense that there was something more.. Maybe the insanity growing in the back of her head. Sighing deeply before she backed away. "It grows.... I... don't usually feel that way.. Just.. desperation." Making sense of the feelings. The consuming feeling made her fustarted as she tried to speak and lifted her body up and swung a left. "..... We can't go back home. We have a job to do."
Changing the subject entirely before she started to trot through the high grass.
