"Twins?!" Victoria gasped, eyes widening as she leaned in at the mention of the tattooing being some sort of a secret. Unable to keep the grin off her face, she fanned herself with a light, excited giggle; this story shall be the most interesting thing she had ever written! She couldn't wait to get started! With a nod, the ghost then placed a finger on her lips, "Oh! I'll keep it hush hush... Leave it to me, Sir Muka!"
See! She was using his preferred name! Victoria's a good ghoul, yes she is!
"That does sound very, very exciting!" She nodded again, intrigued by the mention of invasions, battles, and horsemen; her matron had read the papers a few Octobers ago - around the time she had submitted her application to be a student of the school - and told them about how the horsemen had recently moved into Halloween, to a location near Amityville, "Ohhh, I can't wait to go on adventures too! I'm not much for fight either. Little ghouls should not fight - but I would love to record down these adventures on paper!"

There was a distinct possibility that they were going in circles, but the fact they hadn't gone through the same common room again was promising. The fact remained that Muka still hadn't gotten her room number and they were merely wandering. To mix it up a bit, he took them up a set of stairs and held the door politely for Victoria.
"Oh you should join the school paper! They do reporting on school events." His head bobbled in a way where it looked like he was agreeing with himself. "Do you write much?"
And then after a long pause. "Do you like shopping?"

Victoria had totally forgotten that a room number is an important thing.
"The school paper? How does one go about joining it?" She asked, her attention grabbed by the word 'reporting', "I write quite a bit! It is not the most respectable hobby for a ghoul to have, but it is a decent one, I am sure... Since I have not gotten into trouble for writing stories!"
His question caused her to pause, and she looked a little saddened, "Ah, I do enjoy it, but shopping is usually expensive, Sir Muka."

"Hrmm.." The owl man seemed to vibrate almost when he made those funny bird noises. "Well I would assume you just go to one of the meetings. I know Miss Pepin works for them. She's a ghost as well. Perhaps you can become acquainted with her?"
This hallway opened onto a new common room, a different one. There was a gnome there playing some sort of hand held game. When he saw the students he attempted to flee, only to trip on the end of a carpet.
"YOU." Muka hooted. "Get this bag!" He pretty much dropped it on top of the gnome, forcing the thing to take it. "Also we need to find this ghoul's room."
"oooohhh..." The gnome eyed Victoria up and laughed creepily. "Sure.. sure.."
While the gnome did things on his eyephone, Muka continued their conversation. "Don't you worry about money." The strix gave her a wink. "You come shopping with me sometime."
Most ghouls may find this very forward, possibly presumption and maybe even creepy. They'd just met!

"Miss Pepin? What does she look like?" Victoria asked, wondering if she would be so lucky as to run into her one day... If not, she could always go looking for her - using the mirrors in the dorm, of course; it was just much more efficient that way.
"Ah, is this what they call gnomes, Sir Muka?" She eyed the creature who was now carrying her suitcase, not noticing - or rather, not understanding - the look he was giving her, "Matron told me that there are a number of them employed in the school, and that they can be quite the trouble! I was told not to get involved with them, and to treat them kindly..."
She seemed rather concerned about this, although Muka soon got her attention again - mostly because she was just promised a shopping trip.
"Do you mean it?" She beamed, surprise shown plainly on her face, "Ah! You are what Matron would call a... A benefactor! You're my benefactor, Sir Muka!" Her smile seemed to widen.

"Well.." Muka rubbed his chin hair a bit in thought. "She's a bit hrrrm.." He made the curvy-woman-body hand motions. "She's some sort of.. glitchy.. electronic sort of ghost?" The strix giggled. "I'm not very good with species."
The gnome seemed to have been informed of Victoria's dorm room number via phone and started to tromp down the hall. At first it attempted to take off with Victoria's clothes but being a bit of a derp anyway, the gnome tripped and ended up on it's face. "Ah.. yes he's a gnome." Muka poked the thing with his toe, gently at first but with growing viciousness until the gnome got up. "Watch your lady things around them." He giggled a warning.
Once the gnome was moving again, their trip seemed to resume safely. Muka positively beamed when she agreed to shopping. "YES! Benefactor! I like that word!"

Victoria was thinking of a gourd as Muka started with his hand motions, and was envisioning a glitchy, electronic gourd floating around campus... That didn't feel right to her though.
"My lady things?" She asked with a small frown, floating along as they followed the gnome down the corridor. Her face lit up when he agreed with her, "You're Benefactor Muka now!" It seemed that Sir Muka had quickly evolved into Benefactor Muka, even if it was a mouthful to say.

Muka simply snickered. "No no.. Just Muka is fine." He patted her on her hovering little head. "Yes your ah.. hrmm.." His head turned slightly. "Undergarments. The gnomes are.. ahh.. rascals." The gnome present yelped, 'HEY! I'm right here ya know!' But to Muka he was merely a whining servant. Nothing to be concerned about. The gnome hopped in annoyance and after rounding a corner took them down an identical looking hall. Midway down he jump-kicked a door, the wood swinging open to reveal Victoria's room. "AH!" Muka wanted to snoop but he was polite instead and held the door for the ghoul. Generally the school tried to customize rooms for the students ahead of time. What could be in place for a mirror ghost?

"Oh!" Victoria seemed surprised at Muka's reply, eyeing the gnome warily as she frowned; Matron didn't tell her about that! She made a quick mental note to not allow strangers and gnomes into her room.
"Thank you," She smiled, floating past the boil and the gnome - whom she eyed warily again, before retrieving her suitcase - into her room. It was the first time she was stepping into the room that she would be living in for the next 2 to 3 years, and the ghost couldn't help but feel excited at everything... Although the room itself was pretty bare and monotonous; the walls were covered with black and maroon wallpaper, the floor was covered with grey carpet, and the two windows had white, translucent curtain hanging over them. There was also a wardrobe, dressing table - with a mirror! - and a single bed, all covered with a thin layer of dust. The room itself smelt like it hadn't been used in a while. However, the thing that got her attention the most was an oval shaped mirror located beside the wardrobe; it was about half the length of a full length mirror.
"They sent it!" She beamed, speeding to the mirror before running her fingers along its ornate frame, putting her hand through it in order to mark it with her Fear, "The reaper who found me brought me to the orphanage along with this mirror. It feels important, for some reason."

Muka approved of the tasteful color scheme and the nice layer of dust. Even a few cobwebbed corners gave it an appealing ambience. He didn't enter until Victoria had already floated through and after stepping into the door he gave the gnome a silver seed and a swift boot down the hallway.
"Hrrmm.." He drummed his fingers on his belly as he strolled over the carpet, taking a glance out of the gauzy windows to admire her view for a moment. Muka turned back to the mirror, approaching and tapping the glass experimentally. Yep. Just a mirror. "It looks like an antique. It may be worth a few seeds!" He giggled. "Not that you would sell it." He just always managed to equate things with money.

"An antique?" Victoria asked, looking at the mirror, her expression turning into one of surprise at the mention of selling it; the boil might not be serious, but she felt like she needed to get it out there, "Oh dear Sally! I can never sell this! It would be like selling a part of my Fear core..."
She was really, really fond of that mirror.
"Ah! Thank you for helping me find my room, Sir Muka," She continued, giving herself a mental slap on the forehead when she realized that she might had forgotten her manners, "If there is anything I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to ask!"

Hmm odd. Muka tilted his head to hear that she put so much value into a single material object. He placed no emotional value on anything inanimate and things were generally just a matter of taste, status or practicality. He wasn't sure that there was a single thing he owned with which he couldn't part.
Curious!
"No trouble." He giggled and bowed halfway. "You tell me if you need anything. You're new.. It's my duty to help." The strix playfully poked the ghoul in her little ghosty nose. "But you must promise to come shopping with me soon."
Muka strolled to the desk, required furniture when you lived in a school, and wrote his skelephone number down. "In case you need to reach me." He tapped it. "Also I live in the highest tower of monster dorms."

"Oh dear Sally," Victoria smiled, rubbing her nose after it was poked, "That is very generous of you, Sir Muka! I am very grateful."
She floated behind the boil, peering over his shoulder at the list of numbers that he had written down, an almost curious expression on her face. She then traced a finger along one of the numbers, "How do I... Reach you with these numbers, Sir Muka?"

"The phone, of course." Muka giggled and then... giggled more. He realized slowly that she may not even have a phone. "eyePhone? Skelphone?"
He fished one out of his coat. It was an older model, buttons gnarled from his punching talons, but still capable of working. "See?"
A ripple ran up his spine, causing him to stretch and ruffle his wings suddenly but it just seemed to be.. him. "Perhaps the school can install a line for you."

"The orphanage had a skelephone," Victoria answered with a nod, her attention on the device that he had just taken out. She leaned in, taking a closer look of the screen and buttons, "But it looks different... It was also much larger than this one, and a wire attached it to the wall."
The sudden movements made her look up, and she frowned, looking concerned, "Are you alright, Sir Muka?"
