"No, I'm not tired." She smiled at Bushiri. "Though I have to admit, I am a little hungry." Well, travelling non-stop and then playing tag would do that to you. Other than that, Sahar was a little curious in something. Did he says bugs? Although she might have been tiny, Sahar hadn't even considered eating bugs until now! She didn't know if they tasted any good, let alone if she wanted to go and find out.

But, if those in the pridelands ate bugs, she'd have to get used to that diet. Besides, for all she knew she wouldn't be able to eat anything but insects. Food here might have been harder to catch then in the rogue lands, and Sahar didn't doubt that part at all. In pridelands prey animals lived in herds, didn't they? In the rogue lands they did too, only those herds didn't get attacked on a daily basis. Ones in the pridelands probabley did, and were used to outrunning their hunters.

The wind picked up, rattling her shell and pearl set again. She took a deep breath, that's right, stop overthinking things. In the pridelands everyone looked out for each other, Sahar would be fine living here. Especially if cubs could wander to the border without being attacked as they tired too.

“Great!” Bushiri rolled to his stomach and leapt back to his paws, his grin ever unwavering,” I know a real good place. There aren’t many termite mounds in the pridelands anymore, but when you find them, you know you’ll eat good! Well, if you’re a cub, I mean.

“I’m not very good at hunting yet, not even mice, but that’s okay, because I’ll get better. And when I’m big and strong I’ll get to go on a proper hunt for antelope or wildebeest, and then I’ll be considered a real grown-up!”

Bushiri didn’t know the first thing about hunting just yet – he only knew that other animals, prey beasts, were involved, and that when he was hungry the hunters brought food back to the den for him and his siblings to eat. It was a good life, an easy life. Exactly the sort of life a lion ought to live, as far as Bushiri was concerned. His seer abilities always let him know when food would come, and he never feared famine.

“Let’s go, Sahar!” he shouted, turning tail and loping off through the grass.

She couldn't resist but to continue smiling at everything this cub told her. And
the fact that he didn't know how to hunt yet she found adorable. Having such minor dreams for himself, the day he could finally be considered an adult. Of course, cute little childish dreams would eventually end and be replaced by more resonable ones, but for now tending those dreams would help entertain Sahar, and benefit Bushiri in the fututre. Which is why she said: "I can help teach you to hunt if you want." While they continued walking.

Hunting mice was easy, and since there was a large abundance of them, Sahar could help teach the cub whenever he wanted it. Of course, he might have rather had have his father or mother teach him, and Sahar wouldn't take that personally, cubs usually looked up to their parents after all.
