For a moment, Arilee almost didn't notice the ball being passed back. Between her revenge fantasies and the indecent thoughts that being behind Lena induced, she was a bit... distracted. With a small, almost amused grin, she plucked the ball from the smaller girl's hands.
Within a few strides, she had a good enough grip on the ball to be able to pass it back without dropping it. And thankfully, the tiny boy wasn't the one directly behind her. She wouldn't have to be the one worrying about how to literally bend over backwards whilst jogging. That particular concern could be another person's problem.
Heaving the ball up and over her head, Arilee waited for the girl behind her to take it.

This was an odd drill. Guen jogged along obediently, trying to maintain a good distance behind the person in line in front of her without being too far away. She wasn't eyeing anyone's derriere - she was too busy being nervous. The girl in front of her had seemed kind of intimidating, with her long blonde hair and height. And that scowl... When it came her turn to take the ball, Guen trotted forward, reaching out with both hands and- OOF! She stumbled a bit, not expecting the weight of the darn thing, but lurched forward quickly, trying to recover her composure. Scarlet painted her cheeks as she blushed furiously. They usually caught balls with their feet in soccer, not with their hands. Her only comfort was that it hadn't quite ended up on the ground. She lifted it carefully over her head, holding it above her bobbing ponytail for the next person in line as she trotted along.

“Thanks” He panted as he reached up and caught it, if not quite as effortlessly as he would have liked. Harder to be a show off when you nearly lowered the ball right into your face. He’d just have to act dignified. “Catch Tag!” he called as he adjusted his stride again and tossed it back behind him. He wasn’t sure if he was looking forward to the sprint to the front he’d be taking shortly or not, but at least he was starting to wake up more as they ran.

"Oh, Zac," Tag grinned as he caught the ball. The drill reminded him of his high school days, back when he used to run track. He needed to pull girls somehow, and being an athlete was the top way in high school, but he wasn't quite buff enough for football. "You should know me better by now. There isn't a thing about me that isn't ********." Tag sprinted forward with the ball, surging towards the front of the line with relative speed before hurling the ball over his head to the leader, Kess. "Catch," he grinned.

Noooo. No way. That couldn't be. No. .. yeah. Yeah, that was Tag Swagger over there. THE Tag Swagger was a big part of the Chaos family, apparently. There were some other really cute guys in her midst too!.. but she couldn't think about that right now, as the group started their jog around the pond. "So, that's really Tag Swagger, right, Quinn?" she asked her leader in front of her, as she reached over to snag the ball from Quinn's hands. All right. Maybe she had time to think about stuff like this. "The guy from the news? How can he manage being an awesome news anchor and this all at the same time? I can't even keep up with my homework-- oof." The tip of her sneaker snagged against some errant dirt. Esme would meet Quinn's backside this time around .. Luckily, though, Esme hopped a few times and swung her arms backwards, offering the ball to the next girl in line. "Alley-oop, hey!"

Makayla now had a problem with Kess, and it showed pretty much on her face as she started to run. She was fine with running, don't get her wrong, it was that damn weighted ball she didn't like. Keeping in pace with the person in front of her, she tries very hard not to run into her as she ball literally drops into her arms. She came so close to dropping it, she couldn't help but start cursing under her breath.
Attempting to get a good firm grip on the ball, she glance ball to the guy behind her "Hope your ready!" with that, she lifts it above her head before letting it go so he can catch it. With that one little movement, she could already feel the burn in her arms.
Yea, maybe she could end up not liking Kess by the time this was all said and done, but she would keep running just to prove she could do this.

It was a good thing that Kess and Tag had a lot in common. Or, rather, the whole blonde, tall, and fit thing. The man performed admirably, starting them off with a good example by charging to the front and chucking the ball over his head.
It might've hit Lena in the face if the freckled workout leader hadn't been paying enough attention. As it was, she snorted, blowing bangs from her eyes as she shoot out one hand from the impact.
Offering it in a more gentle manner to Lena as she felt the pace pick up [Tag was quite the runner, and currently the leader of the pack until poor Zac could catch up!], she raised her voice to heckle Quinn.
"Hey, the slackers in your line going to catch up, or what?"

It took Kekipi a few moments to find a stride that didn't cause him to stumble over the feet of the girl in front of him. Once he was sure that he wouldn't be the cause of any jogger pile ups, he relaxed, enjoying the run.
And when the ball was passed back to him, he smiled at the girl before holding it over his own head. Hopefully the guy behind him would take it soon since jogging in such a weird position was throwing off his balance something terrible. And even as he waited, he heard the one girl saying something about slackers. Kip was reasonably sure he wasn't a slacker. He just liked to move at his own pace. But maybe once the ball was passed, he could speed up a little. That couldn't hurt.

"Got it..." Confirmed Falco as he took the hand off of the weighted ball. He did have to admit that sprinting wasn't his strongest suite, in spite of his love for speed, but he certainly didn't plan to let it slide for lack of trying. Especially not at that 'slacker' bullshit. Slacking was for other people. Not Falco Marks. "Let's go!" He encouraged Alexandre a little roughly, half turning into an awkwardly angled run as he attempted to hand off the ball without throwing it at someone. He still wasn't in the best mood but taking it out on his team wasn't in the cards. Anyway Alexandre was Alexandre, and he figured the semi familiar General knew him well enough not to expect sugar and butterflies.

Alexandre was no slacker even if he had an issue with running, it was just because he was running like this. Running behind someone was not as easy as one might think at first glance, you had to keep from catching on the back of one of the other persons shoes, it wasn't something he ever had to do on his usual morning runs. The real problem though was that ball, he didn't have a clue how heavy it was, and he didn't like the idea of possibly getting on tip toe, or up on his toes at all, to get it and finding it obscenely heavy. It seemed that just as he was letting his thoughts continue down that less than positive path the ball was being passed his way. Falco it seemed was maybe, he really didn't think so, being considerate enough to twist about in that oddly uncomfortable looking position to hand him the ball in a easy to grab manner. "Got it, thanks." And it was heavy, heavier than he'd hoped it would be.
With no one behind him and remembering the orders for this exercise Alexandre branched off from the end of his line and headed for the front. Guuci sneakers hit the ground as he headed toward the front of his line, almost tripping at one point he did catch his balance though. This really was new for him, running like this, but it was good - he'd be joining in with more of these gatherings.
Reaching the head of the line he took his place and glanced back to Quinn, even as he held the ball behind his head with both hands. "Good morning, Quinn."

Quinn quirked an eyebrow as she jogged along with her line, passing the ball to Aurora as they moved. "That's really him, yes," she said with a laugh. She thought by now she would be complete and utterly annoyed by Aurora's innocence and romance-ridiculousness, but it turned out that she was quite fond of the girl's quirks. "You'd be surprised how many people in Destiny City are miraculously balancing two sides of their lives like this." And then Aurora was very much all up on Quinn's backside. It seemed that she had an awfully bad habit of falling into Quinn. Not that she necessarily minded... But it was almost ridiculous how often she found her tripping over her own feet. It actually reminded herself. Quinn turned and jogged sort of backwards and sideways in a really awkward way to face Kess. "Bite me, Kess! You picked the lines, cheater!" She flashed a grin at the other girl as she reached up to grab the ball from Alexandre. "Morning darlin~"

"Oooof, sorry Quinn. Hey, Alex!" she greeted her friend as he jogged up in front of her. Guuci shoes. Was there anything else that her best shipping guinea pig could show her? Maybe he had a yacht. ... oh God, that would be so awesome. Then he and Lieutenant Natron could do so many things on that yacht... She barely noticed that Quinn was trying to pass the ball, so intent on daydreaming about yachts and other types of ships. "Ehehehehe... oops." Esme reached over and snagged the ball, offered it over her head to the girl behind her. "Soooo... how are you? I'm Esme. Nice to meetcha."

Catching the weighted ball, she chews on her bottom lip for a moment as she attempts to once again get use to running with it. Lifting it above her head, she huffs as she looks at the back of the girl's head. Esme she said her name was? Glancing backwards, she checks to see if the young man was ready "I'm Makayla, pleasure to meet you Esme. And I'm wishing I had some coffee at this point."
With a chuckle, she glance back over her head to the male once more "Here you go, and since Esme asked me my name, I shall follow suit. What's your name?" holding the weighted ball over her head, she offers it up to him.

Snagging the ball with a bit more ease this time, Kekipi smiled at the girl in front of hi, taking note of her name as well as the name of the cute in front of her.
"Kekipi," he replied easily, still smiling as he lifted the ball over his head to pass the the male behind him. "Or if that's too weird, I go by Kip. Pleasure to meet you all."
Really, it was a pleasure to meet anyone at all. Any time, any day. Kekipi had a feeling that the more friends he could make in his new "family", the better. Becasue, it wasn't as if he had anyone else to turn to anymore.

Kekipi? The guy's name was Kekipi? What kind of a name was Kekipi? Although not really part of the conversation, Falco raised an eyebrow steeply as he took the heavy ball. It was something to wonder about anyway, and keep his mind off the work involved. Several rude nicknames passed through his head in the process as well, though even he had to admit that was a bit unfair, he didn't know him after all, and although he was as pink as a Barbie Playhouse, they were on the same side. "Here." He offered briefly again to Alexandre as he turned again to hand off the heavy ball.
