Jude nodded to Deryk's assessment despite Ariane not having spoken up yet and then suddenly new voices and new forms started to emerge from the fog. Bul's voice was familiar and less startling. He let Deryk explain as he looked over at Ariane, "It's one of the ... 'Kids', harmless enough," he explained for her not sure how she felt about any of the people on the 'other side'.
Not that he sympathized with any of them but he wasn't gonna trounce on Bul right away at the moment.
ThenRobert made Deryk startle which made Jude startle but not quite to the point to summon his weapon, but he was obviously very tense until he recognized the voice, "ROBERT, GOD DAMN IT. IT IS DERYK, ARIANE, AND ME...and ... Spike. Godzilla.... Bu...l...?"
..He didn't know what Robert called the student. Either way Jude's voice might as well be in a vacuum for all it was worth.

"AHHHHHHHHHH." Robert yelled in response to Deryk's yell. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." He yelled again, in response to Jude's voice. And then he caught another look at Bul, and .. you guessed it.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT THE ******** IS EVEN GOING ON WHY IS EVERYTHING SO MESSED UP CATS AND DOGS LIVING TOGETHER ******** ******** ******** stomped around in the fog, cursing until something made sense.
Ariane just watched, poker faced, and then face palmed... While still holding onto Deryk and Jude. She was also seriously considering leashing Robert. No of course not because he's blonde; what were you thinking. And the red lizard-thing too, although she would have to sacrifice her own scarf for that.
"Oh just shut up," She sighed at Robert, "You're a grown man!" As if that made a difference. He's just an oversized baby, really; he definitely needs a leash.

Twitching a bit still, Deryk calmed down a little when Jude shouted at Robert. Ok. It was just Robert. Not someone that was going to murderface them all. Moving over, he eventually managed to spot Bul, sort of crawling towards them in a rather scrambling sort of manner.
"Robert... pl-please calm down!" he cried out to the life hunter in the group. Him going around ranting like this was making him nervous and it wasn't helping the situation all too much in general.
As for lizard-man's question..
"Uh.. still in haunted house.. sorta.. and yes. We're ********>

"Man this guy is loud-" Bul frowned at Robert's heavy reaction. After looking up at Jude he snorted and slowly pushed himself up to his natural height, standing taller than the other figures... on his tippy toes at least. Harmless. Peh. He survived so many metas now he was hardly harmless. Maybe that just meant his was dumb lucky. Yea that was probably more accurate.
"It's not messed-er a little messed up but calm down man, I'm like... that neutral guy. Sorta neutral. Uh.. the guy that wants to... stop the other people even if it means walking around with you guys and your slave pets." A little harsh note at the end for the weapons but so far all hunters seemed to have this stupid friendly relationship with them. (So why not the ones not on a leash? Who knows)
Ariane was the only female of the group, something that... for whatever reason, shocked Bul. It seemed their demographic was mostly blonde men. He didn't realize there was essentially a whole womens' faction ful of sexy bitches.
"Great," Bul replied to Deryk, then shuddered. JACK was it cold. "So wait Nobody has seen anyone else wandering around huh?" he asked wearily. "Damnit that means I've ******** lost Gale AND Mei." For a moment he fell silent then turned to the hunters again. "Hey. You guys promise to not throw me in some net and I'll be on your guard. Think of it as a game, yea. We're playing a game and I'm the weird piece nobody wants to play. Okay that works.." he told himself. I really don't know where I'm going with this post.

Jude just sighed at Robert's reaction as much as Jude respected Robert and was thankful for all the times the other Hunter was there for him - now was not the time to comically spazz out like the comedic relief usually would but ... Then again...
He didn't have time for the thoughts as he seemed to snap his head toward Bul, "Gale is missing? Well s**t." Jude didn't know enough about Mei to really care about her - that'd be Bul's job. "As far as I can gather so far...everyone pretty much got scattered around..."
Right now Jude had no real inclination or reason to net Bul so he simply shrugged, "Fair enough. Now about those lights...We should go toward one of them because maybe we'll find someone...?"
Robert stopped screaming, but his mouth was still working, as he pointed from one hunter, back to Bul, and back again, with outstretched hands. He couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that everyone was just working together.
But everyone told him to shut up, so he shut up, and fell in line.
He looked very unhappy about it, though.

You remember that post before? The one where I said in the future Bul would chose to head for the warm light?
Well keep that in the back of your head right now.
Bul nodded in confirmation towards Jude. "Yea I didn't see him when I ended up here.. and I don't recognize these other two so it must have been a shuffle of sorts when it happened.." He didn't know s**t about portals: "It" referred to the portal collapsing. But then Jude mentioned lights-
"...what li-" Bul turned around to actually see himself faced with actually a number of anomalies in the room. A chilling light that was a very VERY obvious NO THANKS... and then a warmth that beaconed like the freaking sun. He knew better than to just assume the warmth meant happiness. Especially given the nature of this house, Bul could easily be facing a simple trial of reverse psychology.
His tail whipped around behind him and he sniffed the air. Something about the warm light... as suspicious as it was. "Look... I think I'd rather go that way..." he said now perfectly convinced it was the way to go. "If you guys want.. er.. you could follow.." he said and scratched his head. "Or.. if it makes you feel better," his eyes went immediately on Robert. "I can... go check it out and come back to let you know what I find..?"

The idea of Gale being missing was not exactly good news. But then again, at this point most of the other hunters were missing to them. Looking towards the others for a moment, Deryk thought about the lights.
"Yeah. Rather go towards the warm one. Should be.. safer? I think. Seems more promising. Yes."
The Death trainee was sticking to his decision from before. About wanting to go towards the warmth.
"Can go with if needed. Yes. Splitting up... m-might be bad."

"OH FINE, go towards the warm light! Knowing the Haunted house, it's some kind of a trap," Ariane rolled her eyes, and then pulled Deryk and Jude over to Bul. She then handed the end of Deryk's scarf to the red lizard, eyeing him for a moment before deciding that he's got nothing to gain from trying to do anything weird, "Here, take him and don't lose him." The 'or else' was implied, really.
She might feel a little bit of pity for the students, but pity did not equate to trust.
"Jude, Robert," She tugged the former towards the latter, and then proceeded to grab the end of Robert's scarf; all these perky butts would have to wait till they're no longer wandering around aimlessly, "You said you wanted to go towards the light too? Since they're taking the warm light, you want to go towards the cool light?" She would still have preferred 'no light', but at least they would be investigating the light that's as cold as her soul. : |

Ariane made a valid point and he was pretty much forced to follow her after a small 'hrk' sound exited his lips because she had him by the balls scarf. Kind of surprised him that she relinquished 'custody' of Deryk into the scaled hands of Bul. Staying together was a better idea but if they had to separate just to get somewhere....He supposed it was a valid enough move.
They could always come back and rescue them, right?
....Mmmn.
"A-Alright," he said trying to loosen the scarf just a little, "Sounds like a fair enough strategy if everyone else is up for it."

"Warm.. yea.." Bul muttered softly echoing Deryk. He seemed entranced by the light, captivated for one reason or another. It took Ariane's approach to snap him out of it and now he stood holding Deryk's scarf. OOoooh he LIKED this ghoul.
For a moment the lizard sneered at Deryk and then chuckled after gently tugging on his scarf then letting it go of course. "Alright then that makes a lot of sense. Let's keep close." If he needed he'd let them old his tail to stay as one unit but Ariane's idea seemed suitable. Unfortunately, he had no idea that what lie in the distance that was 'warming' was actually the closest thing to another insanity monster encounter, maybe worse.
The closer they got to the light the more the monster boil grew hopeful though and even with the hunters in tow, he felt that perhaps he could do the same for them as they did for him at the tent. That... just wasn't the case. :C "Hey if this is your guys you wanna be the one to-" And as he spoke an armed guard would put itself in-between them and the source of the light which by now was clear as a fire. It was also clear that they were NOT a hunter and in his quick realization of do not want sputtered out the syllables: "H--h-hhorse--"
After that it was a frantic scramble of nails clicking wildly on the house floor beneath them. Bul was moved out of the way as the guard advanced on his temporary comrades. "********!" he cried while the fire illuminated his faint scales. It was too late for him to stop the guard, and engaging it was dangerous given the clear occupation just beyond the flames. In the midst of this confusion he'd not only separated himself from the hunters but also the campsite. DEFINITELY DON'T GO FOR THE WARM LIGHT, NOPE-

Deryk frowned as his leash was passed off to Bul. He wasn't too sure how to feel about this. But thankfully he let go. Letting out a breath, he nodded and went along with the lizard man. Hopefully the others could find the cold light just fine too.
"Oh.. it's.. it's a fire..?"
Though soon a figure got in the way. Looking up, the hunter's eyes widened. Bul wasn't the only one to panic. He heard him start to stammer out. The trainee himself didn't get much of a chance to say much as he was attacked pretty hard right there. Letting out a scream, he scrambled away as quickly as he could, trying to find the others again.
"Warm light bad! Yes!"

Meanwhile, Ariane had dragged Jude and Robert over to the cool light, where they were greeted by fellow hunters. She grinned, having forgotten about her earlier comments about how they should not go towards any sort of light, and then took several steps backwards until she was standing beside both males. She then let go of their scarves.
Congratulatory butt pats were in order.
"I guess this means we should retrieve Deryk, and laugh at him," She commented, withdrawing her hand from their behinds before turning around to stare at the fog, "And the lizard too, if he still wants to follow us."
Ariane was just the kind of person Robert felt comfortable around. She took him by the leash and carted him off. No decision making, no frustration, just a pushy lady telling him what to do.
The cool light sounded fine to him.
He did yelp when her hand was in his a**, however. That girl had a thing about asses..
"You think? It didn't seem hard to get here. Maybe they'll find their way on their own."
