There was a small smack as the filly bumped heads with Darrian. She flopped down on her butt and looked up him confused but not too hurt. Shaking her head she tried to figure out what was going on. She turned to watch her brother but he was looking at his rump. She looked around before getting nudged by momma. With a little help she stood up again.

“Yes. I’ll keep the little ones from falling to far behind.” She kept her girls moving forward and took a few steps back to herd her little boy toward the rest of the group. “Come along little one.” She sighed. She’d need to find some names for the little ones soon. She hadn’t really thought of names for all of them yet. She looked at her little boy and mused aloud. “What to call you. In all the mess I haven’t had the chance to sort through everything.” She kept an eye on little ones while following Darrian she could always name them later.

Getting bowled over when she had just gotten up was not her idea of amusing. Giving a loud neighing bray she nosed her brother and nipped at his mane to get him to hold still while she got up. All she succeeded in doing was to roll around with him on the ground before ending up on her side with her legs sticking straight out. Giving a snort she wondered how she did that and tried to disentangle herself from her brother to stand up.

“Yes they do, it makes me wonder about the one who was taken.” Sighing she looked sadly at Darrian. “he didn’t even have a name. none of them do yet.” They weren’t that old yet and yet here they were up and trying to keep on their hooves. They were so cute and so innocent how could she have thought of leaving them because their father was a monster?

Darrian looked sadly at the mare he was helping, she kept mentioning a foal that was taken and that just seemed so wrong to him. "You know...once we get these other foals safe, I can help you look for the one that was taken if you would like. It might be difficult and a long journey, but with both of our sets of wings, we could cover a lot of distance. And I could enlist the help of my family as well. If it is your wish, I will find your other foal." He said passionately. Dar really did mean it, he would go to the ends of the Isle for this mare. The thought of that scared him, and he didn't understand why, but it felt right. The stallion thought maybe this was his mother guiding him, a soft smile appeared at the thought of his fallen mother as the feeling of love overcame him.

Ely giggled when they rolled along the ground together but snorted when his sister bit his mane. What did she have to do that for?? He stood still then to let her get up so she wouldn't n** him again.


Nono, you're fine. I don't need all the fancy colors. Lol.

Darrian smiled as she named one of her little ones. It was a very pretty name indeed. Laughter filled his whole face when he saw how the little girl and boy were being. He had never really been around foals much, well, at all really. "I think you'll be a good mother Erumara. You had a few hiccups when you started but you didn't plan on being a mother so soon, so give yourself some credit." His voice was soft, kind, and gentle, trying to have the mare understand what he already understood about her.

Strong spirits. Hmmmm, Dar thought. Why was she asking him anyway? "Elyan." He said the first name that came to mind when he thought of spirit. "Elyan Vanos." He finished. It seemed to fit the little colt, which he assumed she was asking him about. "I think that would fit the little colt."

"We should be getting near my herd's land. We can stay just inside it for our own safety if you'd wish, or we may go inside." Darrian was trying to give Erumara as much control over the situation as she wished.

Darrian nodded as they crossed into his home. He strayed away from where the other family's were leading to where he knew Cecelia would be. "Cecelia?!" He called out.

Cece had been enjoying the quiet in the forest, just laying about until she heard her name shouted. She got up immediately and rushed to the sound. There she found Darrian with...another mare? And foals? Oh no, what has he gotten himself into in Damir's absence? Damir was off with Thalanir, helping him with a job. "Oh, Darrian? What's wrong? Is this mare hurt? Are any of her foals hurt? Thalanir isn't here so I can't call to him quickly but Kyrielle and Aila should be around."

"It is a long story, Cece, one that I don't know all of yet. But Erumara does need sanctuary, for the time being at least." He turned to Erumara, giving her the chance to speak. "Cecelia, this is Erumara, Erumara, this is Cecelia."
