Seeing his chance and realizing Before was serious about having Vanna's charge help his own, Glen began wildly swinging and felt his blows connect with Before. It... felt good to actually hit and deal that much damage.

At Before's last strike, Glen decided to call it quits. "Before, I think we get a pretty good picture of handling our weapons."
The Mist was trying to get his breathing under control, as was Lilah, though the Intermediate trainee frowned. "Okay, okay, I'm totes going to take this as you two not wanting to accidentally kill me, because it has happened. Not just once, mind you. It's good you two know when to stop though when you come face to face with these freaks, do not hold back! Unless, y'know, they give you a reason to hold back."

"You guys shouldn't be so soft!" Rick suddenly hollered as he emerged from his vantage point. "You got your opponent in the perfect spot to finish them off and you should finish them off!"
"B-but this is just a spar," Lilah began, suddenly clutching her weapon protectively to her chest.
"C'mon, Rick, chill, we're not gonna... we're not gonna do any finishing off right now..." Before began, trying to hide the trembling of his hands at the sight of Rick's own summoned weapon.
"Last I checked, I was leader here," Rick snarled, frustrated that Before was still acting so weak and visibly lacked the ruthlessness a Hunter should possess. "And I say when we're going to finish things off!"
In stunned silence, the three watched as Rick took a running jump, his bladed shovel raised overhead, determined to smash down on Before.
