Why would I make you not want to? Although its a belief system that has very muddy waters (depending on wether you follow Crowleys thelema based system of the early 1900's or Gardners 1950 rehash which took the less coven of secrets approach) it you really research into it yourself you can definitly find whats real and whats just some crazy people looking for a escape.
What I mainly identified with is the drawing of natural energys from earth, though I was driven by the element of fire and still am. But I would probally be like 50% fire 30% earth 15% air 5% water and 100% spirit. And I definitly love crystals and rocks. Back in my practiciner days I had about 5 that I always took with me. Though I dont carry any atm. I wouldnt mind getting some kind of hemitite necklace again, since I connect really well to hemitite.
Part of any belief system is reading through the mess and differing views and being able to be strong enough in your own views to understand why you believe in what you believe.
Even if my beliefs are based on science and understandings, I still very much believe in the flow of energys and I believe we are still only scratching the surface of understanding what energys flow out there.
