"You are home," he tried. "You're at Amity. You're with me, and the others. You're home there is nowhere else." There was nowhere else for him at least. Amity was the closest to an actual home that he'd ever have, he was pretty sure. This was it, the last line. The only home.
He lashed out again, though he could quickly see this was going to be futile. He was trapped in a nightmare.

BOSS BATTLE: Oh the mermaid looked at Rikki. Home was home which was not there which was obviously not his home.

He felt it again. The build up, the painpainpain as his shield fell and his body failed under all the pressure. He didn't even have the energy to fight it this time, just let it wash over him in waves as tears finally escaped and streamed down his face. His skin paled and greyed and cracks crawled up his arms along his tattoos. He dissipated and faded into the fog with a cry that echoed.
this time, however, his body didn't know how to come back together. Too much, too fast. It couldn't process and everything fit back together wrong. So wrong.

Home.
Demi's toy was left to collect dirt on the ground as Rikki forgot who he was and began to search. Search for home.
