This should just about do it! Unless you want to make another ending post, that is. Either way, I'll set up the next RP tomorrow morning.
Tim pondered the request. He had been expecting it, but now that he was faced with the actual question, the male wasn't quite sure what his answer would be. On one paw, it was obvious that Tim needed help. He should have caught Hanja by now, but for some reason the thief kept eluding him. Another set of senses could help. But on the other paw, taking a rookie with him could lead to negative consequences. Who knew how strong Hanja was? For Tim knew, the thief was the largest, strongest lion he had ever encountered. Or he could be a swift cheetah, striking quickly and evading counter attack. Most of the scenarios Tim could think of all ended badly. He couldn't risk this stranger's safety like that.
The Red Robin opened his mouth to decline but stopped. Baatar seemed so...eager. In Baatar's eyes, Tim saw the passion and desire to do good that he himself had felt as a young juvenile. Where would Tim be now if Bruus and Rik'hard hadn't agreed to let him tag along? Where would Tim be now if someone hadn't taken a chance on him.
He could either be responsible for this rookie's fate, or his path to the life of a real hero.
"That would be most beneficial, Baatar." He said sincerely. "I think we could make quite a team." Tim smiled, hoping that he wouldn't come to regret this decision. "Come on now, we'd better get a move on before he escape the area." The male gestured for Baatar to follow, slowly padding off towards Hanja's suspected location.
