The stallion gave a grunt settling his head back down on the grass. "If only it were that simple. I would find my sister on more...peaceful terms I suppose." Reth had to admit he was kidding himself. Either way he would have wanted her blood spilt for his own amusement and need. The stallion curled his body more around the mare keeping her close as if musing over her words. "You don't have to fully comprehend it, Beta. It's not even your struggle to begin with." The stallion couldn't help but purr at her affections. Why hadn't he dealt with females sooner? "Even if she gave me rights, it would still not be full. At any time she could come back and claim them, even if just to spite me. That I cannot have. Everything my father and I had worked for would be for naught." That's when a thought occurred to him. If in some way, Kainda and whoever was with her defeated him, who would carry on his legacy? It was a morbid thought indeed, one that kept aching at him much like this female rubbed herself against him. The cogs in his head began to turn at the idea of an heir...His red eyes opened gazing toward Beta. Would she be a worthy vessel, willing or not?

Beta smiled slightly at the stallion's purr, nuzzling him more. "It doesn't have to be my struggle for me to worry, Reth," she replied gently. "I don't want you to get hurt..." She shifted so that she fit more comfortably into Reth's side. "... especially if your walking down a road where you'll hurt yourself." Sighing softly against his neck, she happily inhaled the male's scent. "What have you and your father been working for?" she inquired innocently. What was so important that even killing a sibling he'd never met was acceptable? "And you said they recorded the births of foals... couldn't they also record that Kainda gave you the birthright in full?"

Reth grunted. "I have you know woman, I have fallen very rarely and even then I picked myself up without any need of assistance.." He hated to appear weak even if there were instances where he failed. Those were quite early in his career as a warrior and he intended to keep them that way. Beta was starting to get annoying again. She asked a lot of questions...that would have to change soon enough. But her affections were getting to him as he hugged her tighter to his frame. He needed to start concentrating. "My father was working on regaining his honor after the incident with the commoner, and therefore as long as Kainda lives, she tarnishes his name." Her other question was just as liable as an answer, but again she didn't have to know that. "They could, but because she is still alive and rightful heiress to him, she could claim that never happened. My herd makes it so that first born has the final rule." He gave a low grunt shifting his weight a little to make her more comfortable. "Why are you worried about my state anyway? You seem you have enough on your mind?" The stallion raised his head and then proceeded to nibble on her ear lightly more out of attempted affection than anything.

Beta couldn't help laughing quietly. "I know," she soothed. "I meant doing something that would hurt your heart." She leaned into Reth's side without resistance, looking up at him. "Is regaining his honor worth yours?" she asked softly, turquoise eyes fixing on his red ones for a moment. A giggle escaped her lips as the stallion nibbled on her ear. "Because I care about you." She nipped lightly at his mane, eyes sparkling with amusement. "But isn't it a little redundant, asking that question now?" Beta wasn't the brightest mare around, but she wasn't naive. "I think you know what's on my mind just as much as I know what's on yours, Reth."

There she went again playing with his mind and attempting to mess with his morals. He gave a grunt rolling his eyes a little as he mulled it all over in his mind. 'Is regaining his honor worth yours?' The stallion huffed a little having his red eyes meet hers. "His honor is my honor. It is tradition of Father to Son." 'Such as would be for my sons...' He mentally thought falling into her pools of turquoise. She was a gorgeous mare and Beta seemed to worm her way into his mind. His heart was an entirely different matter. True he started to grow a soft spot for her, but there was nothing more that could ever develop. The way her eyes seemed to dance as she looked at him made his whole body stir with reaction. Reth gave a snort leaning forward to nibble along her cheek, snout, and neck shifting his body so he was all but above her a little. "Humor me." It was more of a demand than anything as he gave a slight chuckle. "Why Beta..." He cooed within her ear. "Is it the fact that you find me dashingly handsome and you wish to bear my heirs?" How forward could a stallion be! Reth wasted no time in giving his proposal, his dark eyes staring toward hers in a fashion he had with so many others. But this time it was for a different purpose that his body and mind both agreed on. How this mare went from being annoying to a possible harem girl was something he could never fathom and probably never would.

"Then why is it tarnished and taken by a daughter?" In her heart, Beta knew he wouldn't change her mind despite her striking questions. But maybe over time her words would mix with the words others spoke and eventually convince him otherwise. She gave an involuntary shiver at his sudden affections. Another giggle escaped her lips. "Why Reth..." she whispered back teasingly. "Is it the fact that you find me stunningly gorgeous and wish me to bear your children?" Her bright eyes stared back at his, the brilliant, inner fire contained in those turquoise orbs daring him to continue hurtling with her into this spontaneous romance. Maybe she could convince him to stay with her a few more nights--under the excuse of insuring that she would bear the heirs he clearly wanted from her. If she did, she could chip away at his hellbent mission of killing his sister some more, while she was at it...

"Bah! Why with these insisting questions?!" Beta was really either dumb or just pushing him. He grunted giving a gentle huff nibbling along her ear again giving a low growl in his throat. "Dear Beta, why on earth would you be at concern with a mare that is not related to you? Is it because you fear what I would do if we had daughters?" He tilted his head idly watching her with curious eyes. At her prying question, he laughed heartily. "Darling, I ask the question. Therefore I believe I consider you just my type.." He whispered into her ear before he returned his caressing grunting gently as his wings adjusted his weight so that he wouldn't topple over or accidentally crush her. He simply curled around her nuzzling into her neck taking in her feminine scent. "Shall I seek another if you are unwilling?" Reth gave a snort lifting his head from her acting as if he would leave. She would be madly upset he was sure, but he needed to hear it from her what she truly wanted...

"That's a big part of it. I might have sons, but I might have all daughters." Beta relished his caressing, but she needed to get the rest of her concern verbalized before she completely gave in to his desires. "And I'll be bearing your firstborn, won't I...? I don't want my babies targeted if you decide down the road that your type's changed." If he ever had foals with another mare, a high-bred mare, then it was possible that the cycle would just repeat... And attempts at her precious children's lives wasn't something she would allow. She let out a quiet giggle as she gently tugged on Reth's mane to bring him back to her. "If I was unwilling, I would've knocked you out and run off already," she said with a teasing grin. A dark expression flashed through her eyes as she spoke her next words. "And if you leave now after seducing me, I'll permanently end all hopes of posterity." That type of game wasn't funny.

For once, Reth had a glint of concern in his eyes. He gave a snort nipping at Beta's cheek. "You have nothing to fear from me. As I have said before, I cannot go after my own children. However, you also have nothing to fear from them going after each other because they will have the best genetics. So! It does not matter if our firstborn is a boy or a girl. I give you my oath of promise and my word as Divine Dragon Warrior Reth, Son of Dragon Priestess Draxia and Divine Warrior Roarke Tynian." The stallion nuzzled into her head giving quieting whickers. "Fear not, Princess. You will be taken care of." Reth gave a gentle grunt at her tugging. He settled back down against her keeping her as close to his frame as possible, not getting enough of her intoxicating scent and feel. At her threat, he laughed again shaking his head. "Dame, you drive a bargain! But no, I will stay. I will stay with you and while you are with foal and I am out on business, I will leave my manservant Stryker with you. He will take care of all your needs." The stallion said nonchalantly. He wanted Beta to be comfortable. After all, she was bearing his heirs! He wanted her to be as compensated as possible. "Does this please you, Princess Beta? What I have said and what I have promised?" Reth cooed within her ear again, quite huskily this time starting to nibble and n** against her ears, cheek, and neck. She was indeed divine and delicious. Besides, what mare could possibly come along that could be better than she?

Beta smiled as he resolved her concerns one by one. She relaxed and nuzzled back against him, shivering at his husky question. His voice was mesmerizingly passionate. "Mmm... as a matter of fact, it does, Divine Dragon Warrior Reth," she purred into his ear. The stallion's affections were tempting her, making her want more of his love and attention. Nibbling at him like he was with her, she whispered, "Make me yours."

Reth stretched a little giving a bit of a grunt, his wings extending in order to give balance to his frame. The mare slight movements underneath him made it all the more exciting. His blood started to boil a little, but his mind was clear. Only when she was settled in mind and ready in body would he allow the desires to sweep over him. Her voice made him melt and it was starting to become harder to concentrate. He grunted in her ear giving gentle whickers and snorts taking in her scent. Oh she was willing and ready. At the words, she didn't have to tell him twice. Reth would take all of her and he would enjoy every moment of it and his time with her.
Maybe it was a good thing he was too tired to fly after all.
