This fight was getting out of hand. Now he couldn't be bothered to try and attack Otto, because that damn giant boomerang was flying all over the place, and it was all he could do to keep his eye on it and try to keep out of it's path. Everytime he zigged, it zagged. And in the end, he failed anyway, and the boomerang clipped him right on the shoulder, sending him spinning and racking his body with pain.
"FUUUUUUUUUUCK." He screamed, holding his shoulder as the pain throbbed and ebbed.

It was kind of.. invigorarting. Robert was a mess, and Otto thought it was his fault. Otto almost felt a little drunk on that power. It didn't help that Tenya urged him to unleash the charge she'd built up after so many hits.
The teenager reeled back and began spinning the boomerang over his head over and over, the runes glowing a menacing red. Soon he hurled the weapon at Robert, letting obstacles and the following shockwave take him out.

Robert never gave up in a fight. But when it came to discharging Fear, there was always that small part of him that felt bitter about his own limitations, and his own inadequacy. It was always that second of pause, where he and Jezebel collided in hatred, that left him open for an opponents Fear attack to simply hit without disturbance. Robert saw the boomerang, glowing with power, coming straight for him, and he deadpanned.
"I ******** hate you."
Right back at you.
He threw Jezebel like a pole, straight at Otto, right before the boomerang hit. He didn't necessarily mean it as an attack, he just wanted the b***h as far away from him as possible.
She went flying.
He went flying.
Much pain was to be had.

Otto yelped as Jezebel nearly impaled him, jumping to the side just as the weapon dug through his side. His shield stopped him from getting damaged, and numbed the pain. A close call, for sure.
Robert was as before. A dangerous partner to spar with.
Otto scrambled to pick ut Tenya, who was now dug a few inches into the dirt from the impact of landing. Heaving the heavy weapon from the ground, Otto took no chances and hurled the weapon back at Robert.

That was the end of it. There was no blocking the attack, since he'd thrown Jezebel. And there was no dodging it, because Robert was, for all intents and purposes, done. He just laid there until the boomerang connected with his body, lifted him in the air a few inches, and soared several feet before dropping him down onto the ground. Robert lay there, groaning in real pain, and rubbed the quickly forming bruises all along his stomach.
"That's gonna leave a mark.." He grumbled, lifting his head, only for it to swim and drop immediately.
"That's game for me, kid." He called out, laying there and staring up at the sky. "I'll uh.. I'll get going in a bit. Just gonna get me a tan here."
This was Robert speak for 'Can't move without pain'.

Otto whistled as he watched Robert fly, the drop to the ground both satisfying and slightly worrying. He dismissed Tenya, stretching his arms over his head and letting out a groan as he cracked his back.
Robert seemed to be spent. Otto lazily made his way over, bending at the waist over Robert's head to block his sun for a moment. "Sure. But just makin' sure here.. ya don't nee me to flag down a Life nurse? Ain't like I can carry ya or nuthin." Robert didn't really seem that hurt, but Otto knew from Rep's example leaving someone hurt was a bad call.
"Otherwise enjoy your sun."

Robert had just enough energy to try and boot the kid in the knees. "Geeet the ******** outta here, bozo. I don't need no goddamn nurse. I'm a little tougher than that."
Then he closed his eyes, and prepared to enjoy the sun.
It wasn't really that sunny of a day.
But his boot said otherwise.
