"I am nots a walkings bag of bones." Freya repeated sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "Maybe yeh thinks I am thinner than I used teh be, but I am fines. I don't needs foods. Did yeh even knows that? We don't needs teh eats teh lives, Hel."

She eyed the tub of stew - she could smell it from here, and it was tearing away at her. She wanted to knock the entire thing down with her foot - if it was close enough, she would have. "Is that alls yeh cames here teh tells me? Hah? That yeh thinks I needs teh eats? What about yehr new changes, hah? Yeh didn't comes teh tells me what happens there, hmm."

She was grasping at straws.

Hel was rapidly losing her patience…not that she had much to begin with. It just didn’t help that she was dealing with her sister, who had an obvious problem and seemed oblivious to it. “Bloody Jackin’ Mary, Freya!” Hel cried, throwing her arms into the air. “Not a walking bag of bones!? Are you jackin’ fooling me!? YOU ARE! Freya, I bet just my tits weigh more than you do!” Hel snarled.

We may not need food to keep existing, Freya, but we need food to keep healthy, and you are FAR from healthy right now! Seeing how thin you are, you are a ghost of your former self! It is disgusting! How can you not see what you are doing to yourself!? I want my old sister back! The one who was vibrant, glowing and healthy! With meat on her jack damn bones!” The ghoul paused for only a moment. “We are not talking about me right now, Freya. We are talking about you!”

Hel's verbal beating was taking it's toll on Freya, and she didn't know how to make the ghoul stop. There wasn't any answer that would appeased the crazed and determined sister, and there was no way she was going to leave without getting her way.

But eating.. was not an option.

"Compromise with me." The ghoul pleaded gently. "Isn't there anythings I can does teh makes yeh stops this? Somethings I can gives yeh? Maybe somethings yeh needs done?" She was desperate, and willing to do anything to make her sister give up on her.

It was a sad realization. It made her wince to think of it. But she wanted her sister to give up on her. She'd already given up on herself.

You want me to stop, Freya?” Hel echoed, “Then eat! Eat just like you use to before…before this.” She sneered, throwing a quick gesture at her sister. “Look at you! Huddling up in the blanket like a pathetic little scareling! What made you do this, Freya? What in Halloween’s name is running through your mind right now, to think that this is acceptable!?”

The ghoul leaned closer to the valkyrie, hovering over her. “Answer me.”

That wasn't the answer she'd been hoping for.

When Hel leaned in closer, Freya instinctively leaned back. She couldn't look her sister in the eye, and she couldn't think of any way to quell the beast. She couldn't think very well at all, lately. Her mind had become fuzzy, and it was always hard to really concentrate.

"I don't knows." The moment of truth came at a price, and Freya's expression turned haunting, and distant. "I don't knows what happens, okays, I don't knows. I looks in the mirrors, Hel, and all I sees is fat. It hangs off my body, it clumps and jiggles, it makes me wants teh throws up-" Her hand lifted and pressed over her mouth, as her skin turned white, almost greenish. She was clearly about to throw up just thinking about it.

"I can't eats. I can't. I can't even thinks about it for too long. Please, please takes that things out of my room. Please."
PostPosted: Wed Sep 26, 2012 3:33 pm

Hel’s skin wanted to crawl at Freya’s display of submission. Ugh. The ghoul’s dark hand snapped out to grasp Freya’s chin between her thumb and forefinger, and she made the ghoul turn her head to look at her.

Not acceptable.” Hel uttered. “What started this all, Freya? Problems come from somewhere." The reaper made a face at the ghoul’s claims, and her lips twisted as Freya’s skin paled and tinted green. “FAT!?” She echoed, loudly. “What fat?” She hissed. “I do not see any fat on you, and you were not fat before, either! Where did you get this ridiculous idea from!? Did someone tell say you were fat, Freya? You better tell me right now, and so help me Jack, I will go string them up by their intestines and it shall be a scareling’s birthday party when their bits fall out!” She tightened her hold on her sister.

No. No, no, no no no. I am not taking these things out of your room, so quit wasting my time asking.”

Fat. Fat. Fat. Every time Hel said the word, it was the only thing Freya could really hear. It almost felt like Hel was just calling her fat, over and over. Her mind was playing tricks on her, as usual.

"I knows." She responded to what she heard - the selective hearing of her sister calling her fat, over and over. "I tries.. I'm still tryings. I haven't gone teh fitness for a while. Maybe I'll heads back there again soon."

Her eyes, forced to look at Hels, were disoriented, and glazed. They were too big for her face, and she looked like she was looking straight through Hel.

Suddenly they focused, and she glared at her sister in determination. "Yeh goes now. I wants teh be alone." Fat chance. Haha. Fat.

The reaper stared down at her sister, perplexed. She tried? She tried what? That didn’t make any sense at all! What did the fitness room have to do with anything? “No, you are not listening to me, Freya!” Hel cried, shaking the ghoul a bit with the hold she had on her. “You are not fat! Listen to me! You are not! So stop thinking you are! I truly hope you are not concerned about what others think! ******** them, Freya, <******** them all!”

No, Hel didn’t like this at all. She didn’t like the way she was looking at her. It repulsed her.

No.” Hel repeated. “I am not going anywhere. I am not leaving until you eat a bowl of stew with me.”

And quite suddenly, Freya held her hand out, her features smoothing in calm.

"Okays. Gives me a bowl. I will eats it, and then yeh'll leave. With the stew. Ja?"
PostPosted: Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:44 pm

Hel was suddenly suspicious, and it clearly showed on her face as her eyes narrowed in on her sister.

Something screamed horribly wrong about how easily Freya agreed to this. “…Ya…I will.” She slowly agreed, and then pointed a finger in her face accusingly. “You better not throw it up when I am gone either! Because if you do, Freya, I will make you eat twice as much, do you understand me!? I will be back tomorrow too, and the day after that, and the day after that, and the day after that to make sure you keep eating too!”

"THAT IS NOT PARTS OF TEH DEALS!" Freya roared, suddenly lurching up forward. She looked enraged, her pale skin flushing with anger, and she loomed dangerously towards the stew, intent on destroying the entire thing. "I AGREES TEH EATS THIS BOWL. YEH AGREES TEH GETS OUT OF MY ROOMS. AND IF YEH THINKS YEHR GOINGS TEH TRIES TEH FORCE ME TEH BE FATS, I WILL LEAVE. FOREVER!"

She took a step forward, heading for the stew, but her sister stood in the way. She took a step left, then a step right, trying to get around her, but it was an inevitability that things would not be so easy. She screamed in frustration, and started causing destruction in whatever her hands could manage. At the moment, the couch was the first to go.

"YEH CAN'T MAKES ME DOES THIS. I WON'T DOES THIS! YEH CAN'T, JUST LEAVES ME ALONE!"

Hel shouldn’t have been surprised at Freya’s outburst…but she was. She had almost been expecting to win this battle, and certainly not for her sister to fly off the handle like she just had. Hel immediately darted to protect her tub of stew, easily keeping her sister away from it. The reaper tensed as Freya then took out her anger and frustration on her beloved couch.

She wasn’t rendered too stunned though. Hel would fight back. Hel always fought back.

I CAN AND I WILL!” Hel roared back, and then lunged at her sister, drawing her fist back and looking to sock the ghoul across her thin face. “IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR a**, FREYA! YOU ARE HURTING YOURSELF! YOU ARE HURTING ME!” She screamed at her. “YOU ARE HURTING ME WITH THIS RIDICILOUS AND FALSE OBSESSION WITH BEING THIN! YOU ARE HURTING THOSE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU!”

The fist had nothing to stop it, and it sunk into Freya's cheek, snapping her head to the side with the force of it's hit. She twisted her head back around to glare at her sister, fiery rage now boiling in her eyes. "Yeh can hits me and screams at me all yeh want, little scareling. But yehr not gettings what yeh wants, this time. See if all yehr hot air does any good. Go ahead, lets it out." Her voice was a low, thin growl. "And when yehve tired yehrself out of tryings teh beats yehr opinions into me, I'll picks yeh up and throws yeh out of my room myself."

Her chest heaved in sharp, ragged breaths. "But one things wills not change, in the end. I. Wills. Not. Eats."

Her hands, previously wrapped around her sister in her struggle to push her off, now wrapped around her own stomach defensively. It covered the scar that had never quite faded, constricting tightly around her stomach as she retreated inward.

Maybe what was really frustrating Hel was that she had no battle plan for this. She didn’t know how to solve this problem. She had no clue on how you made someone resume eating…this wasn’t like when she had dealt with Mot…but her persistence in dealing with Mot over the course of time had paid off, and he was gaining weight. Would this be the same? Did she just have to be persistent? Sadly, it was all Hel knew how to do; it was what she excelled at. It was really the only way she knew how to help others.

Giving up was not an option. It never was. She couldn’t give up, not when she expected others to not give up on her.

After Freya’s words, Hel snorted, and fell silent for a moment. The ghoul chuckled, her fists lowering, and then her chuckled ten folded into blown out laughter. Hel tossed her head back, laughing loudly and it echoed around the room. After some time she calmed herself, and while her eyes were bright, they were also narrowed at the pathetic form of her sister, her lips curling into a sneer. “Cut the bull s**t, Freya.” Her words cut through the awkward atmosphere she had induced with her laughter. “I will not get what I want this time? Do not make me laugh again! It has never been about me or what I want! It has always been about you! Why did you cling to me when I was younger? Not for my protection, but to make yourself feel better because you felt inferior to Sif! Why did you come to Amityville? Most certainly not because of me, but because you wanted to! You did not want to be home anymore, and because you do not have any direction with that you want to do with your life!”

Hel stomped her foot, leveling a glare at her sister.

Why are we in this situation right now? Not because of me, but because of you. You and your own selfish desires. Some stupid, pathetic, selfish desire to be thin. Well, Freya, you are not thin right now. You are disgustingly underweight. It is gross to look at you right now, it pains me to look at you right now, because I could snap you half with my hands.” Hel’s voice had leveled out, but it was strong, firm. “So do not spout this bull s**t about me getting my way, no, this is about you not getting your way…” She trailed off for a moment.

So what if I tire myself out today, trying to help you? So what if you kick me out later? It is not going to change anything, Freya. It is not going to make me stop trying to help you, because there is always tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that. I may get tired, and you may throw me out, but I will never stop, and I will never give up. For your sake. For the sake of your friend, Kettil, who is very worried about you. Get your head out of your a** Freya, and if you do not want to be better for yourself, then be better for him.”

She couldn’t say much about Herryk. She hadn’t seen or heard of the boil in a very long time.

Hel's words cut her sharper than a knife. Every reasoning she'd ever used to justify herself and her over-protective nature for her sister was being thrown under the bus. Everything Hel was saying buried deep into Freya, tearing open insecurities that she'd long buried away.

And the worst part about it all was that she was right. About everything.

Freya's delicate hold on her past twanged as the thin string broke, leaving her with nothing left to hold on to. This was, perhaps, the worst thing for her right now. It was the final straw.

Now she had nothing. Not even Hel. Not even the self-indulged, self-imposed scenario she'd convinced herself of, concerning her relationship with her sister.

Freya picked up a pair of keys from the couch, pushed her sister away from her, and glared coldly at the ghoul.

"Fine, Hel." Her voice was hollow, but more importantly, it was distant. As if she was talking to a stranger. "Then I won't kicks yeh out. Stays as long as yeh wants." She grabbed her jacket off the corner of a chair. "But I'm leavings. And if yeh keeps comings after me, then maybe yehr right. Maybe Amityville wasn't the right direction for me."

She slung her jacket around her shoulder, and her expression darkened with an unfathomable emotion. "I'm leavings. Goodbye, Hel."

The door, when reached for, came off and almost slammed her in the forehead. She caught it with her other hand, pushed it out of the way, and let it drop on the floor. She wouldn't need it anymore, anyway.
