"What? You don't like the goatee?" Titus asked stroking his chin. "I thought it gave me a rather dashing look." Or the look of a cheesy cartoon villain but he didn't really see that.
Her prying conversation, however, put a distinctive damper on his mood. Really, what was it with woman and wanting to get to know him? "Jack, why is everyone so interested in my personal life all of a sudden. First Hel..." He swung the crowbar around and latched it into the crack between two panels. With a little push and a shove the panel came free exposing the metal behind it. "....Now you."
With a frown his eyes focused on the next panel with a sense of frustration. Jack damn nosy ghouls and their jack damn nosy conversations. He began to beat the panel with a sense of vigor like he was taking his anger out on it.

"I think it makes you look like you're trying to disguise the fact that you're still a child." The ghoul said honestly as the panel began to crumble.
Oh, but it looked like she hit a soft spot. Riyo's ears twitched at his response, turning to look over her shoulder. She could tease him, yes. Crawl under his skin and see what there was to find. That, however, was not why she allowed him to come along. "Think of it this way, Titus." The demoness finally turned around all the way, reaching out to pat the boil on the shoulder. "People wouldn't ask if they didn't find you interesting in some capacity, and some people strive to be interesting. You come by it naturally." She assumed, at least.
"Obviously you don't have to tell me anything." The door finally dinged open, revealing an expansive (and expensive) hallway that led up to two doors. "I was just trying to make conversation." Ah, yes. The final stretch on their first stop. She wondered if the VP was in. She certainly hoped so. Riyo would much rather deliver the memo of the company's destruction personally.

"Me a child? That's a laugh coming from you, ya know." Titus sneered.
He somewhat flinched away from her touch though he focused on her as she spoke. Interesting...why the hell did people find him interesting? Didn't he work rather hard to keep a displeasing disposition to keep people away? Was that somehow falling apart before his very eyes? Come to think of it he had done a lot more socializing since he had arrived at this school. Was that to blame? WAS THIS PLACE CHANGING HIM FOR THE BETTER? Jacking Hell!
"Yeah well, conversation is for suckers when there's s**t to destroy," Titus mumbled as he looked toward the now opening elevator doors to see them reveal the expansive hall on the other side. Hefting the crowbar back up to rest on his shoulder the demon regarded the area beyond with interest. "Quite a bit of money ya put into the place." And that was all he said. Nothing about how it was a shame they were tearing it down not even a hint of regret in being a wrecking ball personified. No, Titus rather enjoyed these little facts. Destroying stuff was fun.

"Yes, well. At least I'm not trying to stuff my bra or hiding my face behind makeup." The ghoul said simply, though she supposed dressing like a person with somewhere to be didn't really help either. She should change that.
Tightening her grip on the bat, the feline took out a priceless portrait of the vice president and made a nice dent in the wall just behind it. Might as well label Riyo a sucker, because she seemed interested in continuing to talk. "Quite a bit of money the VP put into this place, you mean." Riyo corrected him, knocking over a couple of pedestals in an effort to cause more commotion. "He likes spending money on pretty things. Likes spending company money on pretty things." One of the things that made the job so deplorable. Having to keep profits up with the losses they took at every local auction.
"Speaking of the VP, I bet he's in right now. Lets knock on his door and tell him the good news, shall we?" The feline gestured to the ornate door at the end of the hall, a menacing grin crossing her features. Ah, a moment she'd been waiting for since she was very young.

"Didn't you do that whole dressing like a guy bit and hide behind a face of pure disdain for your fellow Halloween denzin? Oh wait...that was today."
The crowbar in Titus' hands met with a tall fancy vase and it shattered on impact, porcelain littering the ground in a fine spray. "Oh, VP huh?"
White and black eyes followed their way to the door that Riyo pointed out, a wide toothy grin spreading across his face to match Riyo's. "You think he's up for a party?"

Riyo stopped in her swing as Titus reminded the ghoul of her own shortcomings, eyes narrowing as she tried to think of a comeback.
Nope. He got her. "Touche, Titus."
And then another picture on the wall was broken in two.
"The VP is always up for a party. That's why I sent him out for social events instead of me." The demoness explained, trotting her way down the hall and towards the door. Yes, he had always been the social asset of the corporation while she hid behind her office door and factored numbers. While she gave people the bad news. At the time it had worked out because well, Riyo would've just told anyone approaching her for civil conversation to screw off.
Instead of knocking or just barging in like she usually did, Riyo lifted up the bat and started swinging away at the lovely wood door.
Which opened shortly thereafter. "Ah. Miss president." The tall, lanky man peered through the door with his cold, ice blue eyes, glancing at the damage that had been done before smiling. "Having lady issues, are we? It's gonna be a pretty penny to repair all this damage. I assume you started at the bottom and worked your way up, yes?" He seemed... Disturbingly casual about the whole thing.
"So. What's this all about then? Did some guy break your heart? Oh, right. You don't have one. What a shame." Out of the corner of his eye, the man seemed to notice another presence. "Or are you trying to impress someone? Seems counter-productive to show off your pretty things while smashing them, yes?"

Titus smirked a bit at that sending his crowbar through the wall and dragging it with him as he followed Riyo to the fancy door at the end of the hall. He paid little mind to anything he knocked off the wall or shoved out of his path on the way, the crowbar leaving a long streak of crumbled plaster and wall moulding. When the demon was only feet behind the feline he waited while she banged on the door with her bat only for it to open shortly after. The demon in their path barely gained Titus' attention. Instead the nightmare demon was looking passed him and into the room to see what else there was to smash. " I call dibs on that fancy glass statue." Titus called prying the crowbar from the wall and heading toward the door with a gleeful light in his eyes. He moved to shoulder passed the lanky demon in the doorway only pausing when he heard something about Riyo trying to impress him. " Oh don't worry about me, bud. I'm not here to be impressed." He spun the crowbar in his hands before gripping it firmly. " I'm here from the redecorating committee and let me just say a lot of your stuff looks a little outdated." Titus shook his head sadly. " It will all have to go."

The demon at the door seemed... Less than impressed at Titus's declaration, but didn't stop smiling. "Mm. I see. Well, Miss President, you'll have to work three times as hard to ensure the proper profits are raised for this new redecoration, yes?" That usually got her. Talking finances. The spending of company money on frivolous things.
But Riyo didn't bat an eyelash. "No. See. The only problem I have is the fact that I waited so long to do this. There will be no redecoration budget." She took another swing at the door, which caused the VP to take a quick step back. He wasn't blocking the way in anymore. "Because I no longer own this company. I split it into so many parts you'll never be able to reassemble it again." And then the feline started to giggle, because as she spoke those words, the grin on Lyle's face slowly started to melt away.
"Ah ah. I think you're lying. We had a deal. You keep this gravy train rolling and I didn't spill the beans about what really happened to good old mommy dearest." The man waved a finger as if scolding a child.
And Riyo paused. She tilted to the side and rested her arm on the bat. "And you know what? That would've stopped me about a month ago. But I've come to realize something. My mother hates me. She's always hated me. And I'm pretty sure I hate her too. I've spent all this time trying to keep this monster fed in hopes that one day, she'd acknowledge me as something more. But she's not. So here, let me get things started for you. Hey everybody, my mother's insane! She lives in a mental asylum! I put her there!" Riyo cupped her hands and yelled down the empty hallway for the last part, turning back and offering her now ex-coworker a shrug. "Whelp. Looks like my professional life is over. Damn shame. Now I'll have to find something else to complain about."
Giving Titus a pat on the back, she gestured to the office. "Destroy that glass statue like it was me." And for once, the demoness actually looked like she was fulfilled in every aspect of her life. She was almost glowing.
While her VP was fuming.

The VP at the door hadn't stopped smiling but neither had Titus. He swung the crowbar up to rest against his shoulder, tapping it lightly there while he waited for the demon to move along. This guy was a talker for sure and Titus was certain that was how he had gotten as far as he had and while he wasn't sure the relationship he held with Riyo....he frankly didn't care.
"Hear that, she doesn't care. Move along," Titus moved passed the demon and into the expansive office with purpose, his eyes settling on the tall elegant statue. It must have cost a fortune to make and Titus was going to relish smashing it to pieces. "With pleasure." He mused, drawing back the crowbar like a baseball bat and slamming it into the middle of the statue with force. The whole thing shattered like brittle crystal showering the floor with tiny pieces of glittery mayhem. "Ah, that sound never gets old."

And with that, the years of smiling halted for Lyle. In fact, he looked downright mad.
Titus slipped by, but as Riyo attempted to walk in, he halted her. The man's arm slammed up against the wall. "I made you! I'm what caused your success! You can't do this to me!" He hissed, blue eyes blaring with rage.
And the feline just rolled her eyes. "Well then you shouldn't have a problem making yourself a success." And with that, she pushed past him and took out the big portrait of him on the wall... That had been paid for with company funds.
"You... You b***h!" Lyle screeched.
"You're the only b***h here. All you've done is b***h since I walked in. Everyone else is having a good time." The sound of the shattering was music to her ears. "You're right. It doesn't get old. There's a lot of plates at the next place we're going that'll make the same sound."
Meanwhile, Lyle was packing up what he could get in his suitcase. "I'm going to make you regret this. You'll see."
And Riyo jumped on the desk and started whacking away while he was trying to empty it out. "One day, maybe. But right now? I'm having the best day ever."
And within seconds, Lyle darted out of the office like everyone else had. "And then there were two." Ah, so nice. "Lets finish up here and find a taxi, then the fun can really start. Fires and explosions and whatnot."

"Someone is a whiny little b***h indeed," Titus made quick work of shattering the remains of the statue before he moved over to the filing cabinet. He was about to lift the crowbar to it when something else caught his eye.
"Well well well, what have we here." Golf clubs almost seemed stereotypical but here they were. Titus pulled the bag forward as he dropped the crowbar and looked through his options as if trying to pick the best club for the shot. He pushed aside the putters and woods and immediately drew out a nine iron and a driver. He weight his options between the two before he dropped the driver and used the remaining golf club to smash in the cabinet.
The metal cabinet made quite a ruckus as Titus sent it caving in on itself after each hit. Finally when it had started to rain papers he let up only to find his new weapon was horribly bent and misshapen. "A little on the cheap side I would have to say." He dropped the club and reclaimed his crowbar looking after the demon as he exited the office like all the others. "Quite the angry fellow."
"So where to next?" He was eager for more destruction, though he also knew the boogeymen would probably be on their way. Surely one of the employees had tipped them off that their boss had gone crazy and was destroying the place.

When Titus drew the golf clubs, Riyo laughed at the thought of him with the whole ensemble. "Quiet on the green." She spoke softly to no one in particular, then gave Titus a good old golf clap after he was done swinging.
"He's only angry when he doesn't get his way. Like a child... Though, unlike a child, he has the means to plot and execute his revenge. I expect it will be a slow, torturous endeavor." The ghoul sighed and smashed the window before turning back to exit the room. She expected the nightmare demon would be quick to follow. "Where are we going next? We're going to my house for a good old fashioned barbeque." Back down the stairs to grab the gas can she'd left behind and flee the scene. Then she began the not-so-rigorous work of flagging down a taxi. It only took about ten seconds as per the usual minutes, but with a glowing face like that, who wouldn't want to stop and pick up the cat ghoul?
"Shall we?" She asked the boil, sliding into the seat and handing their driver a piece of paper with the address.

As Riyo expected Titus was quick to follow her back out of the room smashing a few more things in his path as they left. Back outside they went and he was rather amazed at how fast Riyo managed to hail a taxi curious about their destination now. He normally wasn't one to be concerned for others but he wasn't entirely sure Riyo had given her plan the proper amount of thought. " So you plan to burn your house down?" Titus asked curiously as he climbed into the taxi, ducking his head to avoid his horns getting caught in the door. " Given any thought to where you're going to stay once its an ash pile?"

There was only one proper answer to such a question, and Riyo looked him straight in the eyes as she delivered the timeless quote. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a s**t." Okay, so she might've added her own spin on it. "If I have to live in a cardboard box for the rest of my life, it'll be warmer and much more comfortable than that hell hole."
The feline sighed and let her head fall back against the seat. "I have no good memories of home. They're all just burdens I have to relive every time I open the door. Anything joyful that happened is quickly overshadowed by the massive tumor that was my ugly childhood."
Her hands held the gas can in her lap as if it was a stuffed animal. "I just... Want to put everything behind me. I don't want to think about the past anymore."
A small smile cracked through her sad expression. "Besides. It wouldn't be fair to you if I backed out now. We're going to have the best day ever, and no best day ever can be complete without fire."

Titus merely shrugged. It was about all the concern and care he could muster into the situation. If she wanted to burn down her house and didn't give a s**t about where she was going to live...then who was he to stop her?
"I was merely confirming your stance on the situation, don't read too much into it." Titus stated as he looked his crowbar over. In all the mindless destruction it barely had a scratch on it. Quite the durable tool.
"If only the past was so easy to be rid of. Simply burn it and let it drift away in the wind." It seemed the demon was mostly talking to himself at this point, his eyes gazing into a place that was not the back of the taxi where he currently resided. He snapped out of it quickly enough, the edges of his lips turning up into a cruel smile. "I do like fire." Perhaps in another life he had been a dragon....it might explain the horns and wings.
