"Oh. Ah, yeah, hand-to-hand no not really." Natron confessed. Chasing after his weapon was definitely the most problematic issue with what he had currently. He was hoping it evolved into something he didn't have to throw.
On the other hand, a punch to the face, as he well knew (mostly from being on the receiving end) was pretty systematically effective. He really ought to look into learning about that.
"Ah, I'll definitely ask him." Training sessions. Training sessions sounded good. A chance to hone what skills he had, and to learn new things. "I think I could probably use lessons, at any rate. It's kind of a long jump from nerdy kid to badass warrior." Though he was pretty sure Remarque had never had to make that vast leap.

"Is it?" Remarque asked; that was certainly something he'd never had an issue in. But, then again, he'd never considered himself to be a nerdy kid—and if every had been in such a class, long past were the days. "Well," he said, a hint of amusement once more lacing his voice, "I'm sure it's a jump you'll make in no time."
…Hopefully. Remarque was not necessarily a fan of nerdy types, as often they made prime targets for picking on. Of course, he had a fair share of respect to anyone that dedicated themselves to knowledge (as often they had skills he found very useful). "…Just how nerdy are we talking, though?" he prompted slowly, one brow raised at Natron.

Natron did manage to pick up on the amusement in Remarque's voice, but he ignored it to take the words at face value. "I hope so," he said. He certainly wanted to do so.
Unfortunately, he was exactly the kind of nerdy type Remarque was likely not a fan of. "Oh, I'm fairly familiar with the inside of a locker, let's leave it at that." He awkwardly tapped his index fingers together. He was skinny enough to fit in there and apparently people didn't favor being enlightened about all of the layered conspiracies they were blind to.

While the small smile remained on Remarque's face, he seemed slightly more serious. "Ah," he said, and was quiet for a short few seconds as he pondered the situation. It didn't take very long for him to settle on his decision. Natron might not have been of the Dark Mirror Court, but he was still an ally. Remarque would not settle to know that, as such, Natron had faced such difficulty. Remarque had never been intimate with his locker—by any means. Hell, he'd never even really gotten close to his. He'd helped more than a few others explore the dimensions of their own, however.
"Well, I'll tell you what, Natron. If anyone's giving you any trouble, you let me know." He cracked his knuckles, either for show or because it was just a habit of his, "I'll give them a good talking to. Guaranteed they won't be bothering you again any time soon."

Natron had never actually received an offer of protection before. Especially not from someone like Remarque, who, quite honestly, looked like the type of person he usually expected to fold him in half and introduce him, uncomfortably, to lockers, trash cans, et cetera.
"I really appreciate that," he said. He wasn't sure if he planned to take Remarque up on it, but the thought made him feel rather warm and fuzzy. "I'll keep it in mind."

As he should, Remarque figured. It wasn't often that he made such an offer, though it seemed that he had a bit more camaraderie after securing his position as Vice Captain. Or, more likely, one day he assumed Natron would return him a favor if ever the situation commanded he needed one. "You do that," he said simply, offering a curt nod of the head.
"So what is it that they have you doing out here, anyway? I haven't seen a Negaverser gathering energy in ages. Where's your lot getting it all from? I drain—I don't know at least a dozen or so a week—and still haven't seen much of a result. What's your secret?" he asked, relatively eager to move the conversation along after providing such an offer.

Natron couldn't help but feel a little safer knowing he at least had Remarque on his side. That was a good thought. So far, he definitely lied the Dark Mirror Vice-Captain.
He considered Remarque's question carefully. "Well, I think part of it is sheer numbers; there are a lot of us so individually we don't have to do all that much." That was definitely a reason. "Plus, uh, I think the higher ups are exploring some sort of...other energy concept?" He shrugged helplessly. As much of a knowledge hound as he was, this was unfortunately one of the things he didn't know.

Remarque pondered the response and then shrugged, figuring he might as well as a higher-up the next time he happened upon them. "Sounds good," he said, despite his dislike for being reminded how much larger the Negaverse was than that Dark Mirror Court.
"And is very good to know. Our numbers aren't so large, so I've got a lot more energy to gather. Which, I suppose I should get back on. Good to meet you, Natron. If you need anything, I'll be around. Otherwise, take care and good luck. Don't get yourself killed by being too friendly, and don't be afraid to attack if someone looks like trouble. Unless they're Dark Mirror, then just try to play nice."

Natron nodded. "Good to meet you, too, Remarque, and I'll keep your advice in mind." He was definitely up on playing nice with the Dark Mirror Court, though a little less so on just...attacking.
He waved cheerily to the Dark Mirror Vice Captain. "I should probably get back to my patrol, too." He said, and the Negaverser jogged off. Far be it for him to keep an Eternal Senshi from his duties!

Remarque watched as the Negaverser jogged off and couldn't help but shake his head. Of all the new recruits he'd met, none of them seemed ready to take on this big, bad war. Natron was enthusiastic and cheerful—in many ways reminding him of Virtus.
…Who he needed to check up on. He hadn't heard from the guy in a while, and when the White Moon was out for blood, that was never a good thing. Shaking his head, Remarque set out on another path than Natron, intent on gathering energy and getting s**t done.
