She grins a bit at that, tilting her head slightly. "That actually sounds really fun and interesting. I like tinkering with machines and electronics, myself."

Serina thinks for a moment, then gives a slight shrug. "Just about anything I can get my hands on, really. I have alot of fun with the larger mechanical stuff though. I think it's probably the only time in the world I don't really mind getting dirty and mussed up, is when I'm tinkering with something. I think it might help to compensate also for the fact that I didn't inherit either of my fathers' unique talents, while my brother did." She grins a bit. So, he wasn't intimidated by a girl who liked tech stuff also? That was a relief. Considering her father Barnaby's history, that she'd managed to pry out of her other father, Kotetsu, one time while he was giggling drunk, the Brooks part of the family in particular dealt with robotics. She took a very hands on approach with her work, although she hadn't done anything she felt would make either of her parents proud, not like Alex with his having Hero powers.

She blinks, surprised and thrilled with the offer, smiling a bit and nodding. "I'd love to, so long as the rules for where I am and am not allowed to go or get into are spelled out from the get-go and all that. And I'll do my best to stay out of the way and not get underfoot."

Serina gives a nod at that, making a note to avoid the areas with the red boundary. She was good at following rules and avoiding problem areas once things were spelled out for her. "Alright. I'll keep my eyes open and make sure I don't accidentally wander into one of those areas then." She gives a small grin, then tilts her head a bit in question. "So, this is where we exchange phone numbers then, right? In case you had anything else you wanted to talk about and so I can know when and where I'm to meet up at?"

Serina scribbles down her own number, looking up at Duo at the question thoughtfully for a moment before she speaks again. "As long as you don't mind one, possibly two horribly nosy and over-protective parents wanting to meet you first, I don't see why not." She says with a small chuckle, hoping the prospect didn't actually scare the other off. She felt at ease around him, which she couldn't say for a whole lot of others, and even if it ended up not working out between them, at least they could still be friends, perhaps?

Serina nods slightly at that, looking down at her own cup and noticing that while they'd been talking, she'd finished her own drink without even realizing it. "Even if I wasn't a 'pretty' girl, they'd worry. So might my brother." She stands up, putting her empty cup in the trash before nodding in answer to Duo's question. "Sure! Should help prevent any confusion for me, too, that way."

She blinks a bit at that, then nods. "Alright. I was thinking I should call you before just showing up in any case, just in case there were misunderstandings." She smiles and walks with him, taking in the scenery as it changed while they walked. She could do a bit of fighting, but didn't feel confident it would help her in a real battle, where the opponent was stronger than her and intending to break through her defenses.

Serina nods at that. "That's understandable. And if worse comes to worse, I suppose I could smack a few heads or paws with a wrench or something, I suppose."
