Maua smiled. Happiness was the most important thing in the end, it was good to hear that Latifu was content with her life as it was now. An unending search for love would be tiring and, if unsuccessful, depressing.
"I'm glad to hear that," she said brightly, "And I'm happy to have been chatting with you, I haven't gotten out much lately but I think I ought to reconsider it."
She was having a grand time lately, meeting random mortals around the roguelands here. She missed being social, it made her wonder if she ought to try to find out where Kumea and Mila had ended up.

"You should! There is an endless sea of lions in that pride just in that direction. I have to be honest, though I love chats, I can't handle that many, so I'm hoping to find somewhere that's a bit more quiet." Latifu smiled, thinking that Maua would be able to handle it though!
"Plus it seems like there's tons of cubs, but I guess with that many adults around it can't be helped," she chuckled. "Though I am happy now, I do enjoy my quiet time, and hope wherever I go can fulfill that wish."

"Oh, I've heard about the pride here!" she exclaimed with a laugh, looking off in the direction of the Pridelands, "That's kind of why I came this way, I don't know if I'm brave enough for that, yet!"
Hearing there were a ton of cubs around made it more tempting, she did love cubs. And she sincerely doubted she would run into many problems in a pride with such a reputation.. if she was nervous, she could always disguise herself.
"Maybe I will, though," she said after a pause, glancing back with a smile, "I hope you can find somewhere quiet and to your liking."

Latifu nodded. Yes, she thought that she might, but Maua seemed very bright, cheerful, and social. The Pridelands would be perfect for her, even if it was just a short visit!
"I know you will enjoy yourself," Latifu said with a smile. "Thank you for your kind words, I'm certain Konya and I will find something!" Her own eyes were looking from Maua to the path that wound towards the Pridelands. Even a bit of squinting made it possible to see movement of lions, though they were pretty much just specks at this distance.
"Don't worry about me, enjoy yourself," she said as she looked at Maua once more.

With the idea fresh in her mind and her sudden acceptance of the idea, Maua was eager to go- and it seemed Latifu recognized it in her. She pushed herself up to her feet hesitantly, feeling sorry for leaving her new friend, even knowing she was waiting for someone and would not be alone long.
"Thank you," she said, "It has been very nice chatting with you."
She might have said she hoped they met again but she often lost track of time and friends, she knew better. And, unless she revealed her true nature, wishing someone a happy life could seem strange.

"Yes! Farewell," Latifu said with a nod, shooing the pink and yellow female away. She was old enough to not pledge to see her again. Adding onto the fact that she herself would be moving on soon, too, well. It was foolish, but Latifu felt happy for this small, short lived connection. It was all she really needed right now, and she nestled happily into her waiting spot, hoping that Konya wouldn't take too long in rekindling with her first love.
