Parae811 PinkieKitty Okay, I'm a wee bit confused about the chance item, but it sounds really interesting! Could you explain that more? The idea of a guest artist spot sounds like fun! Getting someone else to come in and join us would be cool. I do like the elements idea too. We can wait until we get more feedback, but it sounds like maybe that theme might work best. Good. I was waiting for someone to say they were confused. Alright, I'm thinking of basing the Chance Item on dice rolls - so it's a game of luck, basically. A user purchases a Chance Item, and (okay, now it gets to the vague changeable part) we quote them with a scene (just like in real CIs) and a choice of whether to continue or quit. They reply, with either quit or continue (and if it's continue, they roll the dice - if they roll a winning number, they move onto the next stage. etc etc etc). So, for each stage the user ends up at, we could have a certain pool of prizes - people who lose get a smaller prize, like a sketch, those who quit halfway get a waist-up color, those who win the entire thing get a fullbody color plus background or something - each artist could volunteer some art like that. We can have a certain "value" for each stage the user ends up at (losing gets you 5k worth of art, quitting halfway gets you 30k worth of art, winning all the way gets you 100-200k worth of art). I'm thinking around 5-6 stages (like a Gaia CI), and about 30k each? (whoa that's expensive) Creating a thread for this would help organization, just list each user that owns a CI and their stage. Then, later, their prize, and we can roll dice to see whose prize they get...? And whether they've received their prize or not...? If you're still confused, please tell me and tell me how. I'm pretty confused right now, tbh Okay, I think I get it! That's really cool! We could have the stages have something to do with each element, and the scene art could be from whatever artist has that element! Could I ask you to take charge of the organization of that? I can bug people to do the work, but you have the idea clear in mind.

Okay, I think an okay basic plot would be - person finds a treasure map and travels to find the treasure, five guardians along the path (each affiliated with an element), etc etc etc Simple, easy to understand, and still somewhat interesting. I even made a map! Although, it was mostly for digital practice, so we don't have to use that image or that plot. Okay, I can definitely do that! So, we've definitely settled on Elements as our theme? I'll start writing out the text for it, and solidifying the theme and the probabilities.

Okay, the main theme is Elements! Sorry the decision went by so quickly, but we want to start planning soon, and we don't have as much time to think about it as the main ball does for their theme. ^_^ So onto the details! The elements we use will be fire, earth, water, air, and quintessence (energy). Just quote me with which element you want. First come, first serve, so please let me know asap! I'll take whichever one is not claimed, so at least everyone has a choice. Second, if you haven't filled out the form from Jesse's page, please do. I understand that you're all really busy, though, but be sure to get it done when you have some free time. Red's let me know she's busy, and I've heard from Parae and GFire. Wizard, still waiting to see if you're on board! ^_^ Okay, that's all for now. Parae's working on a Chance Item for an event, and that should involve art work on our part, but that's to come a little later.

The mule is so cool I don't even Anyways, I got up a little test thread for the ChanceItem that I arbitrarily named Elemental Adventure. I'll get some more stuff up for each of you, but feel free to post in there to contribute prizes, tell me what text you want for your elemental, to show me your images, to give me feedback (and tell me just how confusing it is), or to just hang out. Here it is!I'm going to go into each of the artists' art threads and ask them to do art for their respective elemental stage. Oh god that sentence made no sense.

Inkie just submitted her art stuff but isn't on the committee...I trust the Inkster though and Anne has showed an interest in the shop...not saying wizard and Red won't come along and join us...just giving you options! heart I can always holla at people too (nicely) if you need me to. You know...on all the darn time. ;D

She even respindeed to my friend request, but no posts. If not, we just take out energy and I'll do water. Or we can ask Ink or Anna. If both want to join we will add electricity. Or energy and electricity can be changed to light and darkness. Or something.

That means she's been online, but she hasn't even posted to let me know she's in. So for now, we go on without her. She can come back if she wants to. If Wizard comes back, she'll be whatever element (light or darkness) that Anne doesn't want and we split Light and Darkness into two people. That make sense? Glad to hear everyone is on board! Hopefully Wizard will be able to check back in as well. I might want to make a small change to what I offer, how close are we to actually setting up the shop and when do you need our "elemental" artwork? Do you and Parae need the "losing" and "winning" elemental art for the Chance Item?
