Natron nodded. "I know, right. It could have been so much worse." All in all, he was pretty happy with his start in the Negaverse. He was decent at defending himself and he had a weapon that was pretty great, all in all.

He nodded. "And there's gotta be some thrill of discovery left, right?" He loved discovery. Even if it was...sort of rediscovering someone else's theories. "What do you mean, silly?" He asked. He was genuinely curious. Wards wasn't particularly intimidating but he could definitely see how it could be useful, especially if her wards designated "Chaos" as "thing to be warded against."

"Yeah, I guess so. I just wish there was a little more guidance on the Order side." She shrugged with a half-smile, "it'd really come in handy sometimes." But it didn't seem like the Moon Princess was going to pop up anytime soon, so Vanadis figured it was more up to the senshi to make things better by themselves. And the knights too, although she didn't know if they had a better infrastructure or whatnot.

"Well, y'know, some of them aren't particularly battle-y? Or at least not things you'd immediately associate with fighting, anyhow." Her brow furrowed and she thought for a second, "but since everyone still has magic attacks and such, I guess it works out in the end." Quite neat, that.

"It doesn't feel right fighting you guys if you don't even know what you're doing," Natron agreed. He kind of felt bad about it, really. Could someone be evil even if they didn't know it?

Ow, philosophical debate, a bit beyond him.

"I feel like, we're way more prepped for this fighting thing than you guys. Seems kinda skewed." From all she was telling him, Vanadis was giving him an interesting perspective on Senshi, and he kind of pitied them now. He wasn't going to drop out of the Negaverse or start handing out free hugs or whatever, but he did feel bad for them.

She couldn't help beaming at Natron, glad to be reaffirmed in her belief that although they were on the opposing side, that didn't neccesarily make Chaos people actually evil. He definitely had a conscience and, she felt, had they not been cast as enemies, they could've probably been friends.

Which made it kind of sad really, that destiny had already decided who she could and couldn't be friends with. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I mean, a-all the Negaversers I've fought have been really, like, hardcore, I guess? Really powerful and stuff. More powerful than me, at least." Although she had been out of training for two years - perhaps if she'd spent that time actually doing her senshi duties, she might not have lagged so behind her opponents' skill level.

But even then, she definitely hadn't had the kind of guidance in the beginning that Natron had mentioned. Maybe that was what made it skewed? "Order could definitely learn something f-from you guys on prepping our people, t-that's for sure. We probably should, too."

Natron gave her a smile back. Damn, it was really really hard to mentally categorize all the senshi as terrible alien invaders when there were ones like Vanadis, who were scared and lost. Heck, given any other circumstances he would want to be friends with her. Or give her a hug.

"There are some scary people on my side," Natron agreed. Painite terrified him, and she had been rather nice to him all in all. "But uh, I don't mean to point fingers, but you guys have some tough people too?" Troy jumped to mind.

"It's kinda funny that it's Order that's really more chaotic, huh." He tilted his head to the side as he considered. It was an interesting thought.

"We do?" She furrowed her brow, trying to think of anyone on the Order side who could be considered terrifying. "Er, well, I g-guess the princesses might be a bit intimidating. With them being princesses and all." They certainly terrified little middle-class Vanadis, who had no training whatsoever on how to act in front of royalty. And their power was supposed to be pretty great too, but she hadn't actually seen it in action, so she couldn't really comment on that. "Chaonis is a bit intimidating too, but he means well, I think. Ganymede's really powerful, but he's also really nice, so I don't think really think I know anyone who I'd consider scary here. But," she looked oddly proud, "I do know a lot of tough Order people!"

She hadn't ever thought about it like that, to be honest. "Huh... y-you're right! That is kinda weird, isn't it?" Blinking as she thought, she considered his words and he was totally right. "Isn't it like, ironic-like? I'm not sure I'm using that word right." And '-like' probably technically wasn't even a part of the word 'ironic', but whatever! Surely Natron knew what she meant.

"...Princesses?" Natron had neither met nor heard of a White Moon Princess other than the one from the Moon. It was actually rather frightening knowledge that there was more than one. The other two names she threw out were equally unfamiliar to him, but he filed them away as 'people from whom to run away quickly.' "I uh, yeah, I mean I've had an encounter or two - I guess they're scarier if they're attacking you.," He scuffed his foot lightly.

"I think Irony's the right word, yeah," not that he was particularly well-versed in appropriate use of literary devices. Science please and thank you. Literature was not his thing."Anyway, uh, it was really nice meeting you, miss Vanadis," he said, looking over his shoulder, "but I er - I sohuld probably get back to patrolling?" It was framed as a question.
