CaliWolfe Sooo sorry this took so long sweatdrop Somehow I either lost the link or Gaia didn't tell me As she listened to the jackal explain what the spider would need if she kept it, she though about how and where she could keep it. "He could make a web in my den," she wondered how well her mother and sisters would take to a new spider in their den, though who knows if they would be able to tell the difference between the local species and the tiny spider she was wanting to keep as a pet. "And there's always bugs around he could eat."
She watched as the spider nervously crawled around her nose. "Maybe we can hold on to him and I can ask my mama when I go back?"

LexThetaSigma That's fine. I all of a sudden yesterday got a new pretty Lioness. ^^ Have anyone to play with her? Sahar nodded happily. "Sounds like a plan." She hoped Kakalina wouldn't mind her assisting her new pet. The jackal reached her paw up and carefully guided the spider back onto the center of the cub's nose. "Just be careful to not lose him."

CaliWolfe That's awesome, congrats! I have Neirin and a male cheetah both in the rogue lands who could run into her (if she's a rogue). When the jackal told her to be careful, Kakalina nodded slightly, trying not to jostle the spider after Sahar had resituated it back on her nose. "I will," she replied, "Do you want to see what else we can find?"

LexThetaSigma Let's do some cheetah/lion rp for a while. Oh, and I noticed we both won a couple of cute little WD pappies. "Alright." Sahar stuck her nose towards the dirt and started sniffing. If she was lucky today, she wouldn't run into a bees nest. She sniffed more, picking up multipule bug-like scents in the process. Then she jerked her head up and strained her ears to listen for something. A couple seconds past, then Sahar ran off towards a log a short sprint away. "Loads of bugs should be over here!" She shouted back to the cub.

CaliWolfe Alright, would you like to set it up or shall I? That we did! We'll have to do a little sibling rp eventually. The little cub followed slowly after the jackal, trying to keep her in her sights while also keeping an eye on the spider that was still trying to find a way down her nose. When Sahar called to her from the spot she found, Kakalina's eyes shot to her and she stopped paying attention to her new little pet. She ran over to see what all the small fox had found.
"Really?" she asked excited when she got over to the log Sahar was near. Then it occurred to her, she had taken her eyes off of her little spider friend. She looked down at her nose and the little spider was no longer there. She pouted for a moment before shaking her head. They had found more bugs so maybe she could get a new pet.

LexThetaSigma I can, and, my puppy is a little bit of a bully apparently. She'll probably try and boss everyone around. Sahar chuckled. Then she noticed a beetle fly in front of her. "Oh catch that bug!" A beetle was more durable than a spider. It was bigger to. Could not be lost as easily. On top of that they ate leafs, it was a easy pet to take care of.

CaliWolfe Okay ^.^ Mine's a little quiet thing so he would probably let her boss him around. At Sahar's urging to 'catch that bug', Kakalina tried to remember what she had learned about hunting so far and watched the bug as it flew. When it landed on a nearby rock, she slowly slunk up on it. She waited quietly for a moment before pouncing, pinning the beetle under her paws. "Got it!"

LexThetaSigma Oh, right! What's your cheetah boy's name? Just need to know for the sake of the title. "Great! Don't let 'em go yet." Sahar was trusting that the beetles hard shell would keep it alive and perfectly safe under the pressure of Kakalina's paws. She ran over to the cub and looked under her paw, looking at a squriming little bug. Yep, it was perfectly safe. "Do you think you can pick him up in your mouth without hurting him?" She looked around for a container of some sort. As long as he couldn't fly away, he'd be a perfect pet for the cub.

She nodded and lifted one of her paws slightly to look at the bug. If she was very, very careful, she should be able to pick him up.
"I can try," she replied as the small fox looked around to see if she could find something for Kakalina to put him in. She bent her head down towards the rock and tried to figure out how exactly to pick the beetle up with out hurting him. She whimpered slightly when she couldn't figure out a way to pick the beetle up without her small fangs hurting him. "Maybe I can push him into the container?"

Sahar nodded and picked up the closest thing to a container she could find. It happened to be a human object- although she was unaware of this. It was a pickle jar, that lost it's lid long ago. "In here?" She asked.

Kakalina looked at the object and deemed it suitable to hold the beetle that had yet to get out from under her paws. She slowly slid her paws across the rock, being careful not to put too much pressure so she didn't squish the bug.
As soon as she was able to see the beetle crawling around the bottom of the container, she grinned. "We did it!"

Sahar sighed with relief. Now she had a more, protective home for her new pet. "Yes, this is great!" She celebrated. "Do you know what beetles eat?" Sahar asked, slightly testing Kakalina's knowledge.

Kakalina stared at the beetle in the jar and slightly wondered how they would get it back to her pride. "They eat leaves, right?" She asked. She thought that's what they ate, but she didn't remember exactly.

"That's right." Sahar said. She looked at the beetle in the jar. If they had a lid of some sort he wouldn't be able to get out. But then, she was faced with another problem: how would he breath? Sahar remembered keeping a bug as a pet before, it lived in a box of some sort. (A lunch box actually.) Anyways, her bug died quickly and her mom explained to her it was it couldn't breath with the lid closed. Of course, at that age she didn't understand. But now all that information she once deemed useless was becoming quite handy. "Let's find him some plants to eat to." The little fox was attempting to think of the beetle's wellbeing and stay on topic at the same time...

Kakalina smiled happily that she was able to remember what the small bug ate. She wondered what else it ate; Sahar mentioned plants, so she wondered what kind. Though with the bug as her new pet she could try to give it things to see if it would eat it.
"Alright. What kind of plants?" She looked around to see what kinds of plants she could spot nearby.
