Amphi made a pout face at the mention of her being left somewhere. No Roch, She was not a toy you could put in the case. Plus she was this far along with you so...JUST ACCEPT SHE WAS COMING.
And She hoped he did as Austin said what he did and she AGREED. Even if he called her though, she wouldn't be able to talk but...IT WAS THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER.
She flushed at the kiss and smiled up at the man, nodding her head. She gave him a soft look as if to say that she would take care of Roch in his stead and then looked over the bag while Roch and Austin said there farewells.
With her back turned to the pair, her face turned crimson at the large amount of protection charms stuff with all the other stuff and shut the bag as fast as she could. She didn't think Roch needed to see that...Nope.

Roch nodded, then tugged Amphi away from his dad, giving Austin a suspicious look and got a grin in return. Then he looked at the bag, curiously, wondering why Amphi was so bright red. "Thanks, Dad," he said, grabbing the things from next to the door and heading outside. There he packed the things away as well as he could and mounted, tugging on his helmet.
He didn't ask her what was in the bag--not yet.

It was most defentitly a good thing that Roch didn't ask about the bag contents because...
That would mean they would have to have a talk...about that...SHE WASN'T READY FOR THAT. Was she?
Of course she wasn't. Part of her mind though, as she slid on the back of the bike again...wondered briefly what it would be like to be with a boil like that.
Soon as the thought crossed her mind though, the books pictures and diagrams popped up and her face turned a ungodly shade of crimson as she snapped the helmet on and wrapped her arms around Roch.
Nope, not going to think about it. Going to think about where they were going. Yes.

Roch wasn't thinking sex--which was strange considering she was plastered against his back. No, Roch was thinking about the long road ahead of them. He stopped at a small, creepy gas station and motioned for her to get off again, filling his tank before they took off--
Down a road that quickly found them nowhere near buildings or civilization at all. Only trees surrounded them, and there were no other travelers heading down or up the street. It was an almost silent trip, which wasn't helped by Amphi's lack of a voice.

The mermaid didn't say much...nor do much as well.
She could tell though that Roch had a weird vibe and where they were headed was a very serious and very important for her boilfriend.
Part of her, a part of her self esteem wondered if maybe it was a mistake that she forced herself on Roch all the time. AS if she was a weight on his shoulders rather then a supporting beam.
They had only been dating a short while but...Roch had done above and beyond for her...Above and beyond what she would've ever asked.
And what had she done for him? Sang a couple of songs, got caught by hunters, lost her voice.
Her arms wrapped tightly around the boil and she sighed. She couldn't be a downer on this trip...and sunshine and bubbles was all she could offer.
She hoped it would be enough.

They drove, and drove, and he finally put the radio on so they had something to listen to. All the while he was wondering how he was going to tell her why they were going--would he even tell her?
When it started getting a little darker out he pulled off the road, into a clearing. The sound of water greeted them as they pulled off their helmets and he grinned slightly. "This work for tonight?" he asked her. "Sounds like there's a waterfall or something around here."

The only acknowledgement to the radio was a slight bob of her helmeted head against his back as she lip sang to the songs.
When they pulled off though, she looked around and smiled, a foresty area. Coming from the sea, it wasn't often that she got out so far in the land...and even so far...She could hear the loud roar of water. Being cautious, she nodded her head, assuming he meant they were going to sleep here tonight and then explored off to the waterfall he spoke of.
It was indeed not for from there little clearing and was not what Amphi had imagined at all. Water dropped from high edges of rock down into a seemingless deep pool of water that ran off into a smaller creek away from them. Her hand touched the surface of the water tentatively and delighted, she stripped down most of her clothing before diving in.
The shift was automatic as she swam right up to the falling water, emerging up to feel the down pour on her.
It was so calming and relaxing for the mermaid that she totally forgot about helping Roch set up camp! Ice Queen Tag before work. Have a good day bby if I don't catch you!

A little grin pulled at his lips as he watched her wander off. Sure he was going home to face off against one of his childhood problems... but for now he was going camping with his ghoulfriend, right? No point in stressing out until when he HAD to talk to Fang. Besides, he DID miss his old neighborhood--Bones, Ms. Wheedle, the gang-- And he was somewhat confident than Amphi would be just fine while he was there. With that thought in mind he started setting up camp--doing as his Gramps had taught him on their last trip, gathering wood, building a fire-- "Amphi!" he called. "Blue Eyes, you ready for dinner yet?" he asked as he headed for the waterfall.

The moon was starting its slow rise in the sky, reflecting in the pool of water with a soft white glow, seemingly setting a very...romantic field should Roch enter to find his mermaid.
And she was sitting on a placement of rocks to the side of the waterfall, opening her mouth and closing in a silent song as she bobbed her head to a soundless beat.
Even with no voice, the mermaid in her couldn't allow her to attempt to sing. Even with her silence, it was even more sad and haunting as she played with her the whole time, Tail and fin half way in, dipping underneath the surface to flap up.
Her back was turned from the clearing where camp was set up though, and with the loud crashes from the waterfall, she didn't even hear Roch call for her.
No she was in her element and very much enjoying the relaxing power of the stars, moon and water she had bathed herself in.
The scene though, asked for a lover to appear and to sweep her from her troubles, and while Amphi would swear that was a silly idea, it didn't help the small romantic dreamy sigh escape when she finished her silent song.

The sight of her back made him smile slightly as he headed for the water, and he moved behind her, unheard. A wicked grin pulled at his lips--
And he shoved her into the water.

The mermaid went in gracefully. hands flailing under the crash of water as she disappeared underneath, the only resemblence of her form was the moonlight shining on a streak of scales as it disappeared in the inky water.
And she bidded her time, waiting for her boilfriend to lean over, just a little.
She had been in that moment! And now...Well if he wanted to play, two could play!

Roch dropped his vest, kicked off his shoes, climbed onto the rock and let out a rebel yell before cannonballing into the water after his ghoulfriend. The water splashed onto the rocks and... well, pretty much everything else, and the punk shoved off the bottom of the pool, coming up with a grin on his face.
"Did I interrupt something?" he teased, only to not see her. "Amphi?" he asked, trying to see into the dark water.

And that oppurtune moment came when he hit the water with a splash that hid the sound of her surprised gasp. She looked around and seemed to be surprised that even a hint of sound came out and just shook it off. There wasn't anyway that it would anyways.
Sliding around the deeper parts of the pool, the mermaid circled the kicking legs of her Roch, tail barely whispering against his leg. If he looked down, he'd see that same shimmer of scales for the briefest of seconds before it disappeared again. Almost like a shark...a pretty shark?
There was a gentle grip on his ankle as she lightly pulled him under before swimming away from his retaliation. Once safe again, she pulled on the other leg and swam under him.
This was her way of slowly and agonizingly torturing the boil but still playing. Yes.

He spluttered just a bit as he came back up--then took a deep breath and went down, looking around for her. She was being a brat--but it amused him--and when she brushed past him again his hand shot out, grabbing for her.

She giggled when he went back up for air, amused by his reaction to her playfulness and then curious as he came back under. She continued her circling and pulling away, scales still sliding and shimmering when the light hit them until his hand shot out, gripping a very sensitive part of her tail that made her freeze.
And blush as she tried to wriggle out of his hold.
She was a caught fish, but she didn't really mind!
