Past Ball experience: I've only role-played in the 10th ball, but now I know how people feel at their first ball! I also know what attracted me to the ball in the first place.
Average time online: When I don't have much homework, or on weekends, I'd say about 2-4 hours.
Skills: I'm very charismatic when talking to others in guilds, and I can do artwork and such. I'm also part of several very large guilds.
One Idea Well, I guess I can ask for permission to advertise in the guilds I'm in...They have many members that log on frequently.

Past Ball experience: Joined one of the roleplays in this year's ball.
Average time online: I am online a LOT and know ahead of time if I will be gone 98% of the time.
Skills: I loooove to roleplay. I can be descriptive, creative, I do my best to keep with what's going on but also do it in my own way, and I am very careful with my grammar/spelling also.
One Idea: I think we should try and put in more mini plot twists as we go along roleplaying. Perhaps even keep one main villian available to everyone in the roleplay and have them pull the strings of the mini evil villians and their henchmen. The big main villian battle could be fought at the end of our ball and we could spend the rest of the time going through the mini villians in a journey to vanquish evil and restore good to Gaia! .... I got kinda carried away sweatdrop

Past Ball experience: I have been in attendance to some of the balls, most recently the 10th annual ball. I hung out and stuck with the Flying High crew!
Average time online: Typically daily, though I am looking for a job presently so that may change to weekly. I get on gaia frequently though, so hopefully this won't be an issue!
Skills: I am an artist at heart. Writing, roleplaying, drawing... You name it! I have been roleplaying for an excess of six years, and always enjoy a good plot. I may be a bit shy at first, but I do like talking and hanging out with people, so there's that! You can typically count on me to find stuff. emotion_dealwithit
One Idea None at the moment, but I'm sure I'll come up with something! biggrin

Past Ball experience: I've participated as a guest in numerous balls in the past. I've taken a fancy to the role play experience, however, the last two years, I've been unable to really get into the whole RP as I've kinda nearly missed the whole ball. :'c I've never been involved in the ball more than a guest.
Average time online: Considering I have no life I'm usually not that busy, I check gaia a few times a day. It is rare for me not to check gaia because I have no life.
Skills: I've been role playing for a very long time even if I'm just 16. The literacy range really varies and I've also worked with someone on their role playing before. Asides from past experiences, I like to chat it up. A lot. I'm super interpersonal and love getting to know people soo it may just come in handy.
One Idea I posted an idea in the suggestion thread about the anon letters and, I've checked the ToS rather thoroughly, it's not a nono to send them. I thought, even though I attended for only a short while, everyone adored those letters to bits and it'd drag them right in. The downside might just be that those letters may take away from what the ball is really about. also, I feel a mini taste tester event should be held, just to remind people that the ball would be coming soon. (:
A side note - I originally joined the planning guild to be a part of advertising, but I love role playing so much. c: When, or if, the opportunity arises, I wouldn't mind doing both.

Past Ball experience:I've been in multiple ball art shops and an art auction, and I've also been the room artist for the Heih Aventure room. I've roleplayed in... Uh, three balls?
Average time online: Um. I spend a good two hours every day online. Sometimes more. However, usually it's on my phone, which means typing and organization can be slow.
Skills: SPUNKY PERSONALITY OF COURSE well okay I do art. My deviantart is villainbynecessity.deviantart.com, but I have more art on my photobucket (username is lizziezeng). Um, I like making friends with people? Does that count as a skill?
One Idea Okay, well I want to make sure that if people have to drop out (real life happens to everybody), they can do it without too much trouble. I have to think of an idea for this, but that's the direction of most of my thought. Also, I think more art auctions would be good for those artists that can't commit to a store (if we start early, we can make more, right?)
I was also thinking if we organize and befriend some more Gaia artists on Gaia or deviantart, we can get their help. Maybe?????
Okay that was like three ideas but okay

Robayn GalateasFire One Idea that you have for the committee you are applying to. I think it would be great to make a complete list of all the art each room will need before the ball, with a list of artists that can create that art so that if there are room hosts that are nervous or do not know any artists can have a place to go and find one. I'm hoping that we can do something like this, yes. When the head of the Art committee is chosen then I am going to suggest something similar. I know Chibi wanted it, and so do I. It is both a way to show off the skills of members and to save the ball's funds for prizes for the guests. Robayn that is great news! I am not all that experienced but the feeling I got from some of the hosts and cohosts was slight panic about art, they seemed uncertain where to go and find artists so a comprehensive list will really help things. Plus I think keeping everyone on a timeline will be great, that way we will hopefully have all our characters and tekteks ready with plenty of time for the artists to handle them. I am so excited about this! biggrin Let me know what I can do to contribute. smile

Average time online: I'm not the most active person you'd find, but I do check in at least once everyday.
Skills: I've been told that I write well, and am very fluent in English. I also dabble a bit in drawing.

Average time online: I'm online daily.

Past Ball experience: Not sure if being there is consdered experience. Been RPing the last 3 balls.
Average time online: Bout maybe on average 3 or 4 hours a day, depending on whats going on and about at least ten hours a week. agai depending on whats going on at the moment.
Skills: Just my skills as role player. not so good at the art, plus i can't figure how to up load it on here anyways.
One Idea Hmmm...not sure what to put. to many ideas runnign through my head right now. oh! be cool to do one ball as a demon ball. like kitsunes, and inu yokais, ect. just a thought.

Past Ball experience: The 10th Ball was my first. I role-played in the High Adventure Room.
Average time online: Almost daily. My schedule is always wacky, but I will find time to be online.
Skills: I write stories and attempt to illustrate them (I need to work on my drawing skills a bit though). However, I'm pretty good with Photoshop and know HTML and CSS code - (You didn't close the bold after the INSERT COMMITTEE)
One Idea I had no clue that there was a User-Run Ball until the second day into the 10th Ball. I propose that we have small role-playing parties (maybe like 2 or 3) to get people used to what the ball will be like and to advertize the ball itself.

Skills: I can do roleplay posts up to five paragraphs (though that's usually me just getting carried away).
One Idea Perhaps we could have two people assigned to a character, one as the person who will play as that character if all goes well, and another who would be "backup" in case that person has to drop out.

Past Ball experience: Not much, but I did roleplay a bit in the Eternal Masquerade room for the recent ball.
Average time online: Daily, either early in the morning, or after 3 or 4 p.m. until school gets out. Then I'm pretty much on a majority of the day
Skills: I have been told I have a wonderful personality and that I am an excellent writer.
One Idea If there are people who can't be on as often, maybe pair them up with people who can be on longer, so the stories that are created don't just stop.

In case I dot get the position of head, I'm putting my two cents in here!
Pinkiekitty Pinkerton III is applying to become a member of the Art Committee!
Past Ball experience: I was a participant in the 9th annual ball, and a cohost in the 10th. I have been involved in every monthly event from February on for the 10th, and a room artist for the February event.
Average time online: Practically 24/7. I check neurotically throughout the day, and I am actually online one or more hours a day, likely more.
Skills: Well, art wise, I've been drawing for about 9 years, self taught. I specialize in chibis, but I also do a more traditional anime style. I live Copic markers, colored pencils, and photoshop. As for human virtues, I'm a charismatic upbeat hardworking spazzmatron, and I have the ability to lead when a leader is needed and follow when a follower is needed. I'm a great listener, and I come up with creative, innovative ideas!
One Idea: Have a designated backup artist for each event, including the ball itself. I've seen lots of rooms and events with art trouble, and having a planned out backup can prevent having an artless room.
