"I'm sure ********* knows her own limits! I mean, guardian cats are super good at being guardians, right? So she probably wouldn't take more people than she can handle under her wing. But you're t-totally right, a team with all the asteroids would be like, huge!" It'd be less like a team and more like a small army, in Vanadis' mind. Although perhaps that would be a good thing? Hmm, something to ponder later. As they kept walking, she listened in fascination to Hygiea's descriptions of what her team did. It sounded so amazing! "Yeah, I guess so." She nodded thoughtfully - the smaller senshi definitely had a point there. "I'll keep an eye out for a t-team and we'll see, I guess!" Even though joining a team might be a good idea, she'd still feel kind of bad if she was the one dragging all the others down. "Do you know of any others?"

"They are cats and all," Hygiea agreed, "they're always super good at anything." Totally the right type of species to be helping the Sailor Senshi out in their time of need. Maybe if there were more of them around, their side would be totally kicking more a** and stuff. Instead of fighting with one another and being lame like at the meeting. All of that really sucked, and kept the little senshi from answering the older girl's question right away. Her mouth twisted as she thought about it and it wasn't until another block passed that she gave Vanadis a shrug, "I'm sure there are, but not a lot of them have like.. introduced themselves, you know? Like at the meeting there were a lot of senshi around and I'm sure some of them had to be... but they were just arguing with each other and didn't say who they were." "or.. I just didn't notice," they didn't seem to be very obvious about it. Just a lot of yelling going on. "There are the Zodiacs though, they have a place up in space and such, it was really neat going there." That was at least a fun thing to do, even though the civilians there didn't take her seriously. Hygiea let out a long hum as she continued to think about the question, she had to know some, right? Did Polaris have one? Maybe Castor did? Maybe Ganymede did, he seemed to be kind of commanding even if he wasn't super awesome like the royalty senshi she knew. Who else did she know who was super strong and might have one? "Hug-Bell wanted to make one but it was for chibi senshi, so I don't know if that'd help." Man, she was at a lose, "I'm sorry... I don't really know." Ephebe yaaay, finally back to tags

Vanadis nodded in sage agreement, "cats are really awesome, and guardian cats are like, double-awesome." She hesitated for a moment, looking a bit embarrassed, "the guardian cat who awakened me was really um, brusque? Yeah, let's go with that - so I was kinda afraid of cats for a while there, but now I've met another guardian kitty and he's totally sweet and adorable! So now I'm not afraid anymore. Well. As much." She beamed happily, glad that her anecdote had a happy end. For a while there she'd resigned herself to being eternally wary of all cats, talking or not. Thank god for Pippin! She had heard vaguely about the senshi meeting that'd been held just before she came back from Denmark, so Vanadis made a sound of agreement. From what she'd heard, it had sounded to be pretty chaotic, even before they'd been ambushed. But on the subject of introductions... "Oh! I totally forgot to introduce myself, d-didn't I? Er, Sailor Vanadis, Senshi of Wards, at your service!" Her smile to the younger senshi had a faint tinge of embarrassment; seriously, who forgot to introduce themselves? "It's okay!" Vanadis sent an encouraging smile at Hygiea, "you know a lot more than me, that's for sure! All sorts of stuff, like teams, and Zodiacs, and travelling in space!" The redhead was genuinely impressed by all the things that the younger senshi had seen and experienced; and she wasn't even surprised that Hygiea was a Super anymore, because she knew so much more than the Senshi of Wards did about this whole senshi-business. Definitely, if there was an example to learn from, it'd be Hygiea.

Being afraid of cats wasn't something that could ever cross the little girl's mind, but given who the little girl was... there would just be something wrong. The idea or possibility wouldn't fester, as Hygiea was stuck on an unfamiliar word, "brusque?" She asked, puzzled by the higher use of vocabulary. Why did it sound like a type of food? She pondered it for a moment, but turned her attention back to the red head as she fumbled - finally - into introductions. Hygiea had gathered a name, but it seemed so much nicer to get it officially and with what she was a senshi of. .. wait, warts? No, she heard that wrong. Wards. "Like spells and stuff?" She asked, intrigued. That sounded way cool! Like wizard things, she'd seen something about it on tv once... maybe. It sounded familiar. Hygiea looked up at the other girl, still all smiles with her questions still lingering. Eager to learn about this other girl as she was to express what she knew, "there's still tons to learn and stuff, and some of it is confusing but I think it helps just like meeting people and stuff. Like talking to you, and learning what you can do and the cat you talked to even though I have no idea what word you used to explain her. It's nice though, meeting people and all this magic stuff." "Super awesome too, don't you think?" She giggled, leading them around another corner and towards a slightly familiar surrounding. Circles? Well, some adventures required them.

"Er," she'd totally forgotten that her conversation partner was a little girl and, as such, probably didn't have such a broad vocabulary. The experience with which she went about being a senshi had made Vanadis forget all about her companion's age - or lack thereof. "Well, a bit harsh? She seemed like she'd done it so many times, she'd gotten slightly tired of the whole thing." There wasn't much to do about it now other than shrug it off. She'd only seen the cat once more after her awakening, and that was years ago now. "A bit, I guess," smiling at Hygiea's question, she tried to elaborate, "spells and symbols and rituals, all sorts of stuff. Most books I've r-read on it says that it was all hocuspocus, but I guess maybe it wasn't after all, because then I'd be like.. the Senshi of Fake Stuff, I think?" She nodded thoughtfully along to the younger senshi's words, "yeah, that makes sense! You're pretty wise, y'know. Definitely super awesome!" Vanadis laughed a bit, noticing that they'd almost come full circle in their patrol. "Wow, that patrol went a lot faster than I thought it would! I-in a good way, like."

"Ooooh, okay," she nodded. It would be nice if Hygiea could chalk this up to a new word she learned for the day but more often than not, her brain wasn't really wired to remember new vocabulary - unless, sadly, it was a new neat insult to throw at someone. But it was nice of Vanadis to explain the word in a much better way to her. And to expand on what the wards entailed. The explanation made the girl giggle, and moreso at what she could have been the senshi of instead. "Fake stuff," Hygiea repeated in mirth, "well that could be a cool power too if you think about it, but I'm sure wards would come in handy a little more." Probably more than her power. It had gotten a little bit of boost though. But it still sucked. But at least she was thought of as wise and her smile couldn't falter from that bit of praise, "thanks!" She chirped, "and you're really nice and awesome yourself." Totally someone she'd want to hang out with again. When the red head mentioned the patrol, Hygiea turned her attention back to their surroundings. Oh, so it had gone by fast. A circle. "Oh," she said, turning back to the older girl. "It's not so fun when nothing happens when you're alone but not so bad when you have someone to talk to." "This was fun." And slightly educational.

"Patrols are always better with two, I t-think." A sage nod, or at least something that could pass for it. "Thank you for the help! And, um, s-sorry again about the being rude thing." She was glad that Hygiea hadn't been too terribly offended, but she still felt bad for being so dismissive of a fellow senshi. Still, she'd learnt a lot tonight, and met someone very cool. What more could you ask of a patrol? "I think I better get home, now. Got homework waiting for me tomorrow." She grimaced, not looking forward to it - still, it had to be done if she ever wanted to graduate. And even Vanadis knew that being stuck in college forever would be pretty awful. "I, I hope to see you again, sometime!"

"You're welcome!" Little Hygiea chirped in response. It was a parting of ways, but the little senshi had at least gotten the girl's information when she had the chance. "And it's cool, you turned out to be nice and stuff," she replied with a wave of her hand. It did happen a lot anyways, and Vanadis did prove not to be a d**k about it all, so the senshi of herbs totally let it slide. She nodded enthusiastically with the prospect of meeting up again, "I would love to!" It was at least a happier note than homework, which she knew too well of. Hygiea wasn't going to let that dampen the moment though as she said her own farewells to the older senshi. "Don't let it get you down! Bye!" That was easy enough to say. With Vanadis gone, Hygiea powered down the first moment she got and groaned when she heard the all too familiar twitters of ringtones from her iphone. Ridley didn't need to really look to see whom it was from, but when she did... it was dad. And he seemed angry. "Crap..." Best be off for home. Ephebe sorry, just putting my ending on this >>;
