Desu-chan looked at Mort and stared. And stared. And stared for a pretty good time until she kind of shrugged. "NO IDEAS. I JUST WORK HERE." Looking to the distance she sighed. "BUT THERE NO FEAR HERE. THAT WHY IT BAD IDEA. YOU BABY. NOT ADULT. YOU NEED ALL FEAR YOU HAS." Spinning in place she stopped to wave them over. "OKAY. YES. WE CLOTHED AND THIS IS GOOD. WE IN VALENTINES YES. IS NOT TOWN. IS WORLD. YOU NEED STUDY MORE TO KNOW WORLDS YES. CHRSTMAS IS MORE THAN TOWN. JUST LIKE HALLOWEEN MORE THAN TOWN. REALLY. STUDIES ARE GOOD FOR YOU. EVEN IF BORING." Was her answer to the question Yin had voiced earlier. She also mentioned nothing about how she dropped out. "BUT THAT NOT MY JOB FOR TEACHING. MY JOB GET CANDY. NOW-" Looking at Danny the ghoul shook her head. "BAD IDEAS. CANDY CHANGE HERE. WHY YOU NO HAVE SENSE?" This directed at the group in whole. "NEXT TIME I MAKE TEST. OKAY. YES. GET CANDY. LAST GROUP WE BLEW UP FACTORY SO WE GO TO SHOP NOW. SNEAKY SNEAK OUR WAY. DO NOT BLOW COVERS! " A foot stopped into the group. "SHOPS ARE ACROSS FOREST. WE NEED TO FIGHT WAY. OKAY? BE CAREFUL." She didn't bother to explain what they would be fighting as she bounded off into the woods. If in NURSE costume, you have GAINED 1 FOLLOWER. 5-A red pumpkin rolls from its place to attack you. You get the feeling that something is not quite right with it... If in HUNTER costume, you have GAINED 1 FOLLOWER. 6- A LARGE DOVE attacks you with a katana. What? If you have a follower, they die in the attack but buffer the bird's attack for five, leaving you with 3 damage. One follower per roll. If no followers, you take the full damage of 8. Alpha Hug Wolf Danny takes a -15 hp penalty for ingesting the padding.

It took a few minutes but his stomach started to gurgle in a very enraged sort of way. He cringed and grabbed it tucking his tail between his legs with a small whimper. Obviously the not-cotton candy was reeking more havoc on him then he thought it would. He dropped to the ground and fumbled his fingers around in his pocket groping about for one of his pumpkin pills; lollipop, lollipop, lollip- PILL. He weakly moved it to his mouth about to take it when he felt a sharp jab in his back end.
Danny groaned still clutching onto the pill. What would stab him when he was down? And eye moved back seeing a little monster with flying wings and a bow and arrow. It almost looked like Sin. He wanted to grab it and stomp it into the ground but he didn't have the strength being stabbed on top of eating the floor to Valentine's world.
With the last of his strength he managed to swallow the pill reversing the effect of both the stupid cupid and the non-candy floor. He shot up and spun on his heels looking for the little winged b*****d, but it had already flown off. Good thing or Danny would end up with a new set of wings to talk about in his dorm.

Belladonna's tease received a half-eye roll. "Don't get used to," he mumbled, picking at the clips. "Whoever thought lot've colors at once w-was good idea was blind as bat." Or didn't have eyes to begin with. "M'not sure i-if s'like town. Could be same thing as Halloweentown being whole world." Desu would later affirm this.
Espying a certain undead ghoul joining their midst, Mort took the opportunity to gesture her over. "Lovely dress! Guys, this is Mei...shing?" he introduced, unsure of he had pronounced her name correctly. "One've new friends made recently. Mei, this's Bells, ghoulfriend, n' Yin, Alex's boilfriend." He couldn't be sure alex had introduced them before after all. Mort had also turned a bit to incorporate the ghost boil into the conversation (really, he was trying to gather everyone over so he could start being Mr. Responsible Third Year), but the guy seemed . . . preoccupied by a rather voluptuous figure in their midst.
Awww Jackdamnit. Boobs.
"Er . . . 'sup," the zomboil responded belatedly with a smile, both to the two as well as the cat ghoul who had arrived, trying to look as inviting as he could without accidentally staring at the ghoul in the cupid outfit. It was difficult; old habits died hard. "Y-You all ready? N', er, you alright there, kid?" he added to the ghost boil who had nearly choked on the stuffing.
Hopefully so because, after a good few seconds of getting stared at by Desu (and receiving the somewhat helpful explanation afterwards), they were given their task, which was . . . sneaking? And fighting while sneaking? And hoping not to get caught while sneaking and fighting? Ho boil . . . Mort adjusted his gloves and slid his arm out from the loop Belladonna had created, knowing he'd need full use of his limbs for this. "Right then . . ."
As expected, not far into the trek he ran across a strange . . .was that a pumpkin? When did those get red? Not only that, something seemed weird about it, though he couldn't place it at the moment; something distinctly fundamental, he thought. Strangely, though, rather than attack him as Mort thought it would, the pumpkin merely rolled over and halted a few inches from his leg, an air of expectation about it. Blinking, the zomboil took a few steps and snorted softly in amusement as the pumpkin bobbed at his heels.
"Huh. Interesting . . ."

He dusted himself off and straightened out his manry nurses costume as best as his could. This thing was horrible and he really couldn't do Jack about it. Frankly he'd be more content streaking but then again rules were rules. So he'd leave it on unless somebody said so other-wise. "Well could be better. Don't like being stabbed by these flying creatures. Tell you had I not had some of that not cotton candy I would have kicked it's own butt..."Danny seamed to be pumping himself up in-case he encountered the winged thing again. Inwardly he wasn't sure he COULD avoid it, but outside he was still a tough guy and still had something to prove to Sin. Which it was quite obvious the older boil had noticed too. He gave him a playful jab with his elbow to his side. "And between you and me...I saw you looking too..."Danny was seconds away from asking who wanted to wingman for who when a pumpkin burst out of no place and almost knocked him over. Pumpkins were a Halloween Town thing right? Why were PUMPKINS here in Valentine's Tow- er World or whatever the heck it was?

"Greetings Miss Meixiang," Yin said with a slight bow to her as well, familiar with the ghoul already. Then color began to drain from his face. So Mort did not know then. That even if he was technically still bonded to Alexander, he always would be by the Mantodae customs, they were not on those sorts of terms any longer. He did not wish to say much, and surely Mort would find out sooner or later, but he could not let himself be introduced as such to new people. "I would not be considered Alexander's boilfriend," he said quietly, not really looking at the zomboil as he said it, in fact just trying to focus his attention on Miss Desu. A small bear came out of no where and began to follow him, admiring his bearish bulk (from the extra costume) with adoring eyes. He gazed around at the others, eyes quickly averting from the ghoul in the winged costume, not sure about the rest. Bearception

The staring from Desu-chan was... Odd to say the least, but Belladonna only smiled as politely as possible. When instructed to leave, the witch whipped out her phone and with all the quickness she possessed (which, mind you, was very quick indeed) texted a message to the Trick or Treater. iStoleYurVamps Text to Desu-ChanThank you for the instructions! If there is anything else to know, please let us know! Otherwise we follow your lovely lead! *3*/ Belladonna cooed to the girl, another curtsey bestowed along with a bright smile. It was added quickly, before they were shuffled off toward the path and onto their way. Though she was quick to follow instructions, the witch couldn't help the friendly wave to both the cat-girl and Sin. The latter of the two had been in her first year with her, though their interactions had been limited. With a determined nod the witch set off with the group, though she pouted quite visibly when Mort unlooped their arms. It was nice he introduced her as his ghoulfriend, but why the introduction if no action? Regardless she sallied forward, all happiness and bounce as she exaggerated the swing in her hips. Though she kept the smile planted on her lips, Belladonna certainly couldn't stop the little quirk in her eyebrows at Danny as he nudged Mort. "Looking at what, exactly?" It seemed as though she were asking whatever could be more exciting than her. For a moment she almost grabbed Mort's arm back, but her realization of exactly what it was Yin had said made the witch hang back. While the bear began to idly follow the boil, she too dropped back to walk alongside him. "At least you're not alone." She offered softly, accompanied with a small smile and an offer of her arm as a walking companion. A few more steps along the path brought a noisy shuffling behind them and Belladonna whirled around to see a heart quickly catching up to her. With a sweet smile, the witch stopped and bent down to address it, only to be sprayed with quite a lot of glitter blood. A shriek escaped her as she jumped back and beheld the glitter blood splattered across her front, but after another moment of consideration she only laughed and winked at the heart. "Already I've got a little fan club. Anyone else want to join?" With such an outrageous outfit, she couldn't help but stop and strike a pose before she skipped back to Yin, on the coattails of Mort. Why, this seemed like such a fun adventure! Everything really was hearts and glitter and glee, so why ever should anything go wrong? At the playful jab, Danny earned a look that began to say, "Oh Jack please keep it down, I don't need someone calling attention!" And then Bells flounced by anyway with an all-too-innocent question that showed she had heard before joining up with Yin, whose own correction also added to the list now titled Good Job, Mort.
"S-Sorry to hear," the zomboil said to Yin with an apologetic grimace, hoping Bells's buoyant personality would patch up the hole his faux pas created.
Apparently this was not good enough, for another katana-wieelding dove screeched and dove at him. Mort pulled up his sword to defend himself, but the red pumpkin who had been following valiantly leapt before him and took the brunt of the blow - the zomboil took a glancing hit from the bird and was left covered in the mushy innards of his fallen companion as it flew away.
He actually felt a bit sad about its demise.
"Mrrr . . . D-Didn't think they could do that," Mort commented as he tried to wipe the stuff off. "First Christmas ninjas, now sword-wielding birds. M'starting to think other holidays really, really like bladed enemies."

His eyes just wandered from Belladona to Mort and put the pieces together relatively quickly. Danny then grinned and tried to hide in a stifle of a laugh. Mort hadn't been looking at SIN. He had been looking at this pretty little lady. Danny didn't blame him one bit- she was well endowed; just Sin was more his type. Plus he could already see the way Mort liked her and didn't want to break-up a romance. He was a sap for those things. "I have a proposal. You wingman me for that pretty dame..."He tipped his head nonchalantly towards Sin. "I'll help you get with you're gal...hey...you can even borrow my doombuggy. It's got a roomy backseat...if you know what I mean."Though he kept his voice low enough that nobody else would hear it. It had become apparent that he was being listened to by a small fuzzy toy bear. He hadn't even noticed it before it whacked him in the head. But this time Danny was more prepared then with the little wigged thing. He grabbed it and ripped out it's little stuffy interior having it leak little hearts and red plush blood. He then got an idea as he watched it twitch then die in his hands. Quickly he pushed the stuffing in and handed it to Mort. "Greetings to you, Yin Cang. Mort." Mei nodded her head to each boil. A wide grin spreading across her face as she looked to the ghoul with Mort. She smoothed out her rose dress, while it didn't smell the most pleasant it was pretty enough. "Thank you Bells was it? Its a pleasure to meet you as well. Glad to see Mort has someone around to keep him from running off and getting into trouble." Her grin widened. The mention of Yin no longer being Alex's boilfriend came as a shock to Mei. This was the first time she had heard of this....how sad for them. Yin didn't show it, but it was probably hard for him. At least, if she assumed anyhow. He didn't seem to be one who was flippant about relationships. How could you not care? And Alexander. She'd have to track the boil down later. For now it was time to concentrate on why they were here. She began to follow the others when a plush heart bounded towards her. Mei stopped in her tracks right as it sprayed red...glitter? at her. The ghoul blinked as she was covered head to toe in glitter. She had glitter in places she didn't even know one could GET glitter in. This would certainly take a while to get rid of once she got back to Amityville. With a kick of her foot she sent the heart flying through the air, to land in a glittery explosion a few feet away. Which only resulted in her getting hit with more glitter. And probably the other people around her to. "Ughh what." She brushed at her arms and dress. Yin had no idea what he was supposed to do with Miss Belladonna Divine's arm, she he lightly and awkwardly patted it while walking next to her. Unfortunately walking next to the ghoul meant that some of the glittery blood managed to get on him, and he quickened his pace slightly to get away from it all. But at least it gave him something else to concentrate on. And that was it, he was going to focus on these things. Try to ignore discomfort and just learn about the world of Valentines. Behind him the teddy bear kept following. (fOAO)f A pumpkin rolled after him as if in greeting, but something was clearly amiss. It was red for one, and for two...Yin did not need a pumpkin. He looked at it with concern. "I will not be putting my Fear in you so there is no need to follow me." Hopefully it would get the picture and leave him alone now. Yin was just not ready for that sort of commitment, sorry pumpkin! Bearception

"That isn't to say Halloweeners do not like bladed enemies either!" Belladonna chirped to Mort, all bouncing and what not. "We are just much more secretive about it and therefore, more ingenious." A wicked smile splashed across her face before she turned her attention to Mei. "Bells, Belladonna, whichever you prefer. Do you prefer Mei or um, er... Mei... Xiang, was it?" So maybe she mangled that last bit, but still the sentiment was there. Should the ghoul wish her name to be said in full, she would certainly honor her wishes. As for Yin, the little pat on her arm didn't really... Assure her of any worries. While the witch wanted to help diffuse his obvious pain, there was little she could do. They had never met before this today, so it wasn't as though she could offer any help. Not really anyways. "Sorry about the glitter..." She mumbled as she watched him hasten away. Pursed lips formed as the witch instead wandered over to walk next to Mei, which put her in the proper position of being sprayed with more glitter. By the end of this, the witch would look like a sparkly vampire's wife walking disco ball. A sudden surge of pity came over her, and Belladonna turned around and squatted down toward the fallen heart. "If you promise not to spew glitter on anyone else, you can come along with me and this little one." A thumb jerked toward the first heart that had clamped its little hands around her ankle. The fallen heart sat up with a shaky start, toddled over to the witch and threw up a spray of more glitter down her shirt. Obviously, that was her reward for being nice and having cleavage. "I shall take that as a yes. Come along, little ones." Oh la la~ Fan club, for the win!

Mort took a moment to digest fully what the ghost was offering, then blinked. "Ah . . . Thank you f-for offer, but m'not sure will need, er, extra space," he answered with a smile. "But wouldn't mind seeing doombuggy anyway - machines're passion've mine. Made own left arm, actually, from parts." He didn't bring Thor to the trip since he felt the fragment within shouldn't be exposed to whatever might lie in Valentines.
At the offer of the half-destroyed bear, however, Mort gave a small frown. He took it, sure, but give it to Bells? Ehhhhh. "Never tried being wingman before," the zomboil confessed, glancing to said "dame". "But then, ah, is land of love we're in. Prolly best place for first try. Think should try knowing you a bit first, mm? Name's Mor-"

And then the katana-wielding dove came back for a second round and nearly sliced his ear off before he batted it away with the sword, growling. Freakin'. Birds. First the War Isle, now this? "Mrrrrrrr! Mortimer," he continued, trying to stem the congealed blood coming from the new gash in his head. "Mort is short. Third year."
Did he notice the glitter issue going on with those three? Sure. But he was staying the heck away from that thanks. Last thing he wanted to be was as shiny as his desu sword. "Glitter's contagious, y'know!" he shouted to them helpfully, sighing a bit at how easily Belladonna was getting things to, well, not attack her.

Why was it that whenever she went someplace she ended up covered in something and smelling weird? A small, flowery horse hopped out of the bushes. Lifting its little grass tail and sprayed Mei with...what in Jack was that? Perfume? It was so strong that it made the Jiang Shi gasp for a breath that wasn't scented. She felt horribly glittery and musty to boot. At least it wasn't garbage smell this time. Though she might have preferred that to how this flower horse butt perfume smelled. Ugh. "Alright horsie. You've marked me. Now get in line." Putting her hands on her hips she eyed the creature wearily. Hopefully it would keep its butt aimed somewhere else. "Mei is fine." She remarked to Belladonna. "Most find my full name hard to pronounce so Mei is just easier." A small grin crept in as she casually slid over towards the Zomboil. Patting him on the back with a glittered and perfumed hand. "Awww, come on now. We are in the land of love. So lets spread the glitter love around." Making sure to pat him right on the back where he would have the hardest time reaching. There was something obviously wrong with the zomghoul. There was nothing good about glitter, and while he did not entirely understand its horrors he knew by the way that everyone in Halloween avoided it like the plague that it had to be bad. And he was fairly certain that Rikki's jeans that were still in his closet had gotten glitter on other things. It spread. Maybe that was the answer actually. He disregarded all of her talk about being in the land of love, trying to channel his thoughts toward Princess Eva so that the ghoul was not completely stomping on his heartstrings, and voiced his concerns. "Perhaps the glitter has already infected Miss Meixiang's mind?" Or maybe it was just a ghoul thing, but he was pretty sure Miss Danny did not like it either. Then again, using Miss Danny as an argument for ghouls was never the best idea. Another tiny teddy bear began trailing along after the first, following their beary furry leader. Sin was normally pretty sociable, or at least she had been once upon a time before all the trauma that field trips and school invasions had caused. Now she was somewhat reluctant to join the others and get to know more about them...what if they all just ended up...no, no she couldn't think that way. She had come back to school because she loved her classes, her fellow students, and the rich education that Amityville provided. She was not going to chicken out and become somekind of recluse who shunned interaction.
That being said she decided to start with Belladonna who was another ghoul and less likely to stare at her waiting for this flimsy costume sash to come undone.
"Hello...Belladonna right? I'm Sin, I think we used to have some classes together..." Okay not her best introduction, but certainly not her worst.
She glanced over and noticed a boil eyeing her and then her memory kicked in and she realized it was the same boil who had been on the Christmas field trip during her first year. Yeah, she'd never forget the ghost dog that had the guts to lift his leg and destroy a tree with his tinkle. Geeze, did this guy just have a thing for other worlds, she was pretty sure he wasn't a student...or more trees on campus would be withered an dead.
Suddenly a red pumpkin rolled forward, pumpkins? Maybe pumpkins just belonged everywhere? She stepped away from it and tried to shake off the uneasy feeling it gave her.
