Need advice from other moms. D: My only child is about to have his first sleepover without mom, and I'm REALLY anxious. He's going to stay the night with his grandparents as a trial thing to see how it'll be when they babysit him so I can go out on my birthday. He's eight months old, so it probably won't bother him much if any. I just need some tips for how to deal with this for myself.

Darling Vortexus Need advice from other moms. The first time you baby sleeps away from you is always hard and you miss them but just relax and remember that he will be back the next day and try and enjoy a little you time. Moms never seem to get much time to themselves until the babies go to bed and such. The first time my little girl was away I didn't know what to do with myself and I just relaxed around the house and wondered how she was. Just try and do the things you never have time for with out being interrupted like reading or video games XD

Try to keep yourself busy maybe invite a friend over to help keep you occupied. Avoid watching or reading anything that is likely to make you worry (the news, crime shows, health shows etc) Remember that the grandparents will call if there is any questions or problems. Try to enjoy the little break.
